Guest Dave Drevello
So I've just got the money to purchase one of the games on here that I want, but the problem is that I will be getting me a new laptop in about a month. So I ask about the e-license. Is it tied to the computer it is used on or just the program? If it's just the program would I be able to take the whole program off my computer when I get my new one and transfer it over? Or am I just better off waiting and buying the game next month when I get the new computer?
Wrestling Century
You can transfer the license to the other computer, but you'll need to unlicense it off your computer that has the license on it. It is kind of a pain in the butt to find the file IMO, but once you do that it is easy.

The license itself is tied to the computer and can't be put on portable media like USB devices, though I don't know the technical reasons why. Unlicensing a game is very simple (though can only be done if the computer is connected to the internet), you can check the instructions on what to do in the technical support forums for each game. As for buying a game, that's up to you. If it's a TEW game then I'd recommend waiting for the release of TEW2010 which will be out on January 25th... if its any other game then as long as you are comfortable unlicensing then you might as well get it now. No point in delaying your fun.

I tried to follow eLicense's instructions, but it's not giving me the option where it's supposed to.
Devine_Limits
So when you try and purchase the game do have to be signed up to the E-License or can you get it without it???

There will be eliscence options, have a pen and pepaer to copy down your game code.
