Phil Parent
All venues mostly done. All regions have venues. I'll be adding some more European venues, but won't release again specifically for this. My next project will be Title Histories, and the Venues file will be released along the title history files as a bonus and that's how you'll get rest of the Euro venues. Still, you'll get 70-some venues from all over Europe. My file is open source so you can use it all you want! Just credit me. It will be featured in Genadi's next project, also. Once the ball gets rolling with Genadi's next one, you'll find my updates in his files. I'll start a new topic for Title Histories when I'll be ready to release something. Right now, I have the KO-D Ironman Heavymetalweight title history done, which is the most massive and often aggravating one to do.RaveX 2010 - 1.5.zip

flashmagic
Not doing Mexico? = Also, venues can now be owned by a promotion, but that's outside the scope of my file, I just do the venues and you'll know which one to assign to what promotion...it's not like that many RW venues are owned by promotions anyway. =/QUOTE] Bingo! Just about every promotion in Mexico besides AAA is attached to an arena usually owned by the family of the promotion.
Phil Parent
Forgot about Mexico, of course I have Mexico I'll do them before doing Japan and the US. Maritimes, Quebec and Ontario done for Canada, Prairies and BC left then release.
Phil Parent
Canada's up. For now, you can install this as if it was any other mod, but it's not playable since it's only venues. OR you can take the location.tw0 file in the zip and copy it in your regular database. It will overwrite your original file though. AND, copying it like that worked in 08 but I have not tested it in 10 yet.

BurningHamster
Hey dude. Just some info that might be useful for you. In terms of locations I think the best source for info on Japanese venues has disappeared from the web (the puroresufan venues list). If you can't find that on some kind of internet archive, then my TEW 2008 1996 mod has listed in the descriptions the capacity for a lot of Japanese venues. Cheers, yeah just going through the wayback machine now. I'm glad there is some effort being made to archive this stuff because online the sort of thing that was everywhere 5-10 years ago is virtually non-existant now. Phil Parent
Japan's done and up. There are now 1176 venues in there. On top of the Puroresufan Venue List venues, I've also added a few newer venues from Japan (JCB Hall, Shin-Kiba 1st RING, Dragon Gate Arena, Osaka Minami Move-On Arena, etc...) Up next is the daunting list of American venues. Just importing it in from 08...has been taking a good 5-6 minutes so far. There's a little under 1100 of them. There were around 700 venues from Japan, but getting the capacities of a list like I did is easy. There's no usable list for the US. I'll have to go region by region and then state by state, and research the capacity of EVERY venue. It will take a while. Maybe I can have it done and finished by next week. MAYBE. mike b
I rem now this was a feature i asked for in 08 suggestions. So glad Adam put it in and now we have a great mod worker working on it. I have not downloaded the demo as I'm waiting on the full game and all the kinks to be worked out. One question though if i may. Can you put in 16, 17 and 18 thousand seat venues? I rem in 08 i think it jumped from 15thousand to 20 or 25 thousand and i mentioned hey what about the numbers in between. That's the 1 thing that irked me the most in the game, i mean really how many 25 thousand seat indoor venues are there. I know Toronto has a huge 24 thousand plus seat arena and so does NC university but those are just a few. And 1 more before i forget can you have stadiums that hold over 72 thousand now. I know, i know get the game and find out lol.Im a just waiting fr full version so figured I would ask ya cause this is gonna be 1st thing i download for it. You can put in any capacity between 100 and 150000. For exemple, the Bell Center holds 21273. So that's what you can put in for it.

RayW
Just one question Phil, When you done the UK venues, did you use just indoor arena's (like the o2, Wembley Arena, MEN Arena, Coventry Sky Dome, etc.) or did you use football stadiums? It always irked me that people use football stadiums for the UK (since when, other than the WWE in early 90's, was wrestling ever held at a football stadium?). No offence meant if you have used soccer stadiums, easily rectified with mass delete. Thanks for the hard work.
Phil Parent
Without looking, I think I used the new Wembley Stadium as a replacement for the old one which was used by WWE, the rest are indoor venues. And Togg sent me a file of venues I'm gonna import in and I think it has some football stadiums. But for now, I think New Wembley is all there is. Togg
It has very few football stadiums, Mostly smaller and mid sized Arena's, Theater's and Leisure Centre's that British indy wrestling companys use. On the Topic of WWE Using a foodball stadium. Wrestlemania 24 and Wrestlemania 9 was held in an outdoor arena, SummerSlam 1992. Hey if the British weather was better im sure Vince McMahon would happily sell out the new Wembly Stadium if he could .
