praguepride
I got this note even when the workers were going all out. I'm guessing this is in relation to match intensity/danger but I'm not sure I understand. Could someone help me out on this one?
Infernalmiko
I'm wondering as well. 5SSW is 70%/70% and I got this in every match, even if they were going all out.
Remianen
And the matches in question were all called in the ring, yes?
Infernalmiko
Not for me. 5SSW now is not very strong for that. I'll try that next.
praguepride
And the matches in question were all called in the ring, yes? No. Is that what the issue is, that they weren't called in the ring? For mine, they weren't called in the ring nor were the scripted.
Comradebot
I keep getting penalized for match length... then again with RAW, it is entirely possible that six minute matches are too long! Then again, maybe I'm getting penalized because some of my half-talented workers aren't getting enough time in the ring.
Remianen
It's a double-edged sword. Ideally, you want the matches called in the ring so the workers don't have to pull back to stick to a script. However, if you do that, your road agent will tell you the workers aren't good enough to call their own matches. So the alternative is to script it (which forces workers to hold back 'slightly') or don't add either note in which case it will still be scripted if the workers involved aren't good enough to call their matches. Pick your poison. Some of the penalties are a 'cost of doing business' kinda thing. Like, consistency (not everyone is Thunder Hike), holding back (not too many workers are wizards at psychology), and stuff like that. Anyone see the bonus for 'getting the crowd involved'? mjdgoldeneye
Ah, so some workers with inherently be stuck with the "holding back" thing for not being good with psychology? That seems like the appropriate penalty.
Jaded
Didn't Adam say they held back on non-PPV shows? Edit: From http://www.greydogsoftware.com/forum/showpost.php?p=798520&postcount=39, People naturally hold back outside of big events.

Adam Ryland
There are all sorts of reasons to hold back; the most common is it not being a big show, but people can also hold back because they are fatigued, trying to avoid injury, unhappy and therefore just not trying all that hard, etc, etc.
