straightedge109 Posted January 26, 2010 Share Posted January 26, 2010 This is my remake of my TEW 2005 dynasty. I pretty much stopped that dynasty when TEW 2010 was announced. Hoping this time I'll keep a much better schedule. This diary will be following Jason Phoenix, a lifetime pro wrestling fan. He recently hit a stroke of luck. On his 21st birthday last month, he decided to purchase his first ever lottery ticket. That Wednesday, he found out that his ticket had been the winning one. His winnings totaled $1,000,000. He decided to pursue a dream and passion of his for years, owning his own professional wrestling promotion. He decided to put every penny he won into his very own promotion which he called Central Wrestling Association. He acquired a deal with a local venue owner to host his shows at Val Air Ballroom in Des Moines, IA, every week. The only downside to all of this is he had a promotion and $1,000,000 dollars, but no talent, staff, or any idea how to run a show. Thus begins the story of a 21-year-old wrestling promoter with a ring and a dream. This diary will follow either the eventual success or utter failure of Jason Phoenix. straightedge109 Posted January 26, 2010 Author Share Posted January 26, 2010 February 24, 2010 With just 24 hours before the first live event of Central Wrestling Association, the roster has finally been completed its shaping to be one of the best rosters out there today as some of the biggest names in independent wrestling have signed and will be a part of the first event of CWA! Some of the signed wrestlers include: ROH Stars Brent Albright, El Generico, The Briscoes, Jerry Lynn, Kenny King, Kevin Steen, and Roderick Strong CHIKARA Stars Chuck Taylor and Mike Quackenbush TNA Stars Kip James, Shark Boy, and Stevie Richards Several other stars have also signed on and will be a part of CWA when they have their first show tomorrow night at Val Air Ballroom! JUST ANNOUNCED! It has been announced by CWA Owner Jason Phoenix that the main event match tomorrow night will determine the first-ever CWA Heavyweight Champion! He slaps hands with the fans and climbs into the ring with a mic in his hand. Phoenix: What's up, Altoona? *crowd pop* Phoenix: I figured that if I was going to have a wrestling promotion, where better to have my very first show at home? This is where wrestling is going to be! This is where wrestling.... not "sports entertainment" will rise once again! But, with me trying to take care of everything and making sure everything runs smoothly, I have to have some help. So, I have appointed a General Manager for Central Wrestling Association! Borash: Thank you very much, Jason Phoenix. Since being appointed as GM I have brought together some great matchups for tonight. Of course, the main event for tonight is Jerry Lynn, Stevie Richards, and Roderick Strong for the CWA Heavyweight Championship! But, I have also brought together some other great matchups for tonight. We will see Kip James take on Shark Boy! We will have El Generico versus Kenny King! And, we will also crown our first ever CWA Tag Team Champions tonight! The Briscoes will take on Jimmy Rave and a partner of his choosing. But first, this first contest in the history of CWA will take place right now! CHIKARA fans will know these two guys, this first contest is Chuck Taylor versus Mike Quackenbush! With that, Borash and Phoenix leave the ring as a referee climbs into the ring. Taylor took control for some time and took Quackenbush down to the mat and rolled out to shout some abuse at some young kids. Taylor went back in to finish him, but his taunting took too long and Quackenbush counters with a kick to the gut and Quackendriver #3 for the pin. Kenny King got the early advantage and kept El Generico grounded. Generico fought backand took King into the corner but King moved and Generico missed the Ole Kick. King throws down Generico to the mat and goes up to the top rope and taunts Generico and he stands back up. King leaps but Generico catches him with a boot and nails the Spiked Brainbuster for the pin. The biggest signing of EVOLVE last month, Jimmy Jacobs! The leader of one of the biggest and best stables in wrestling this past century, JIMMY JACOBS!!! Phoenix: So you want in the title match? Jacobs: Yes! I think you're starting to see my point! Phoenix: Then, I've got an idea. Tonight is the official debut of a new wrestler. Just joined the wrestling world. And he debuts tonight. Wanna be the big guy around here? Go out there tonight and face him. You want a title shot? Show me and him what you're willing to do for it. Tonight, Jimmy Jacobs takes on the masked newcomer, Bob Manob, in a Hardcore Match! Jacobs: Bob Manob? Is that some joke name? Hey, "bob my knob", but it's actually MAnob? Did you come up with that name? Phoenix: Does it matter who came up with it? Jacobs: It's such a dumb name! Phoenix: Who cares? Just show me that you want the title! Romero & Rave stand toe-to-toe with The Briscoes for most of the match. Romero & Rave single out Mark Biscoe and incapacitate him and then work on Jay. Jay fights back and takes out Rave. Rocky Romero and Jay Briscoe go one-on-one for a couple minutes before Mark Brisoce comes back in and they hit the Briscoe Bomb on Romero for the pin. The Briscoes defeated Rock & Rave Infection 2.0 in 20:07 by pinfall. The Briscoes are the NEW CWA Tag Team Champions. Shark Boy takes advantage to the delight of the crowd and sends Kip to the outside. Kip tries to catch a breather but Shark Boy flies out and connects with a plancha dive. Shark Boy tosses Kip back in and climbs onto the apron and poses for the crowd. As he tries to climb back in, Kip kicks him in the midsection and hangs Shark Boy on the second rope face-down. Kip goes over to the second rope in the corner and leaps, hitting a big Fame Dropper on Shark Boy for the pin. Kip James defeated Shark Boy in 17:02 by pinfall. Manob tries to fight back, but Jacobs finds a chair and levels him with it. Jacobs takes his time and physically abuses Manob. Jacobs finds a table and sets it up near the corner. He drags Manob into the corner and sets him onto the top turnbuckle. Jacobs climbs up as well and hits the Contra Code off the top rope through the table. Jacobs slowly climbs back out of the wreckage and locks Manob in the End Time. Manob isn't moving and the ref calls for the bell. Jimmy Jacobs defeated Bob Manob in 9:59 by submission. Jacobs grabs a mic. Jacobs: There you go, Jason Phoenix. You go tell Borash that I want my title. I just destroyed that new guy like he was nothing! I just showed how bad I want it, now it's up to you to make it happen. Jacobs drops the mic and walks to the back as the ref checks on Bob Manob. Many close falls as no one could seem to get a fall on another. Jerry Lynn took control and looked to close in and boarded the top turnbuckle, but Richards pushed him off and all the way to the arena floor. Richards turned to Strong and slowly and methodically beat him down. Richards picks up Strong and whips him into the corner. Richards runs, but Strong moves and Richards hits the corner and stumbles back. Strong hits the Sick Kick and Richards goes down. Strong picks up Richards and hits the Gibson Driver on him for the pin. Roderick Strong defeated Jerry Lynn and Stevie Richards in 44:42 by pinfall. Roderick Strong is the NEW CWA Heavyweight Champion. Roderick Strong celebrates with the CWA Heavyweight Championship. Richards climbs back to his feet and attacks Strong. Jerry Lynn slowly rolls back into the ring and Strong cries out to him for help. Lynn looks at him and climbs out of the ring and walks to the back. Jason Phoenix walks out. Phoenix: Stevie! That's not how we do things here! I'm going to tell you once and only once, get out of that ring now or I'll get you out myself! Richards kicks Strong out of the ring and tells Phoenix to get in. Phoenix drops his mic and walks to the ring. Phoenix slides in and Richards immediately goes to work on him. Phoenix stands up and runs at him, but Richards hits the Stevie Kick and drops him cold. Richards poses and walks to the back.
