So here's a new version of the MCD data, a lot more TEW10-ready as I have made an effort to use up most of the features in some form. Major changes are revamped workers, alter egos, and dojo's vs. the version already out there.

Next on the clock to do is expand the data and continue filling it out in various areas. Likely tackling CZW or another American/Canadian indy next and then moving onto the UK. All that time I plan on adding random free agents in various spots. I could really use help with Mexico. If there's a Lucha Expert who wants to do stats and such for AAA &/or CMLL that would be terrific.

just for those interested (if there are any!) the next release will likely be the end of February. I'm starting a new job (48 hours a week, 4 shifts at 12 hours each) so I wont be able to update like crazy like I've done the last couple months. The only major thing I've done since this release so far is complete the WCW title lineage. I actually enjoy doing lineage's now because its an easy way to add free agents as well, since when I do lineages its easy to see what guys arnt in and I can judge if I want to add them or not.

 

That said I still have plans to add some other promotions. I've had PM requests for Mexico and have started to shift my focus there. As for CZW, Boom thanks for the active roster, but no offense I could of done that myself as its not hard to go on wikipedia, and I tend to read the last 4-5 show worth of results and make the roster from there since a lot of times guys are listed on the roster but havnt appeared in half a year. If anyone wants to do some data and send it to me, feel free. Just make sure you do it properly within how I've set my data out (easiest way is to copy a similar worker skill wise and raise/lower stats where seen fit). However if you do do that I demand it be accurate. Not just guessed birthdays and overinflated stats.

 

So yea. That said I'm just going to chip away for a month or so and see what happens. New Readme thus far:

I've decided for Networks, at the local level, to add networks that show wrestling. Example is WBFS-My 33. Despite basically being MyNetworkTV I'm going to add it, sans SmackDown! because FCW is getting a show (albeit temporarily) on it. I will then not remove networks added in this manner. This seems the logical way to have local channels, without diluting the data with the thousands their really are.

 

Also I'm putting up a smaller version of the Graphics file (thanks to bobinc pointing out stuff) that has some new graphics for stuff I made (in paint, they suck, but at least stuff wont be blank). The file is organized in a .rar'ed MCD Graphics file, and then within that file I've compressed all individual folders to make it smaller (so Banners.rar ext).

 

Note 99.99% of the pics in my graphics folder are collected from the many amazing graphics makers over the years. I take NO credit and I suggest you all check out every graphic makers own thread and start collecting and keeping your own large graphics folders.

NEW GRAPHICS FOLDER UP:

It is all rar'ed a lot to cut down its size. So its all contained within a rar'ed folder called MCD Graphics which contains all the other folders needed, but also rar'ed, like People.rar (People, Logos, Banners, Networks, ext)

 

Also remember I didnt do this pics, 100% goes to someone else. Always say thank you or give feedback to people who are willing and able to cut pics or do logos for TEW. Without them Real World mods would suck. Anyone who does pics for real world TEW and decide to do your own thread, please post a link in here and I will add a link to your thread in the first post.

Its honestly included just so someone who wants to do a 0/0/0 game or a low-level indy promotion can get a TV show earlier then normal. Its a bit of fantasy in the game I know, and you could run a weekly show, but that would just hemorige money with PPA deals and no "bonus" income. YouTube will likely want a promotion to pay for 100% of production costs and keep most advertising money so its not a big bonus or anything. Literally in for why I said, so users can get TV shows with crappy promotions. haha. EDIT: I may take it out depending if I decide to start adding regional local networks which I keep toying with in my head. Or maybe I might do a area-by-area internet-type-local promotion. So like Local Canada and Local UK and Local Mexico as all tiny networks.

 

EDIT:

Just started a year long sim (technically 11 months to take it to January 2011) to see how the game pans out. I adjusted the overness of WWE & The Jap-3. If it sims well I'll likely sim another 2-3 years.

Former WWE Tag Team Champion Joey Mercury is set to return to the WWE.

 

The plan is for him to return to the SmackDown! brand, where his former tag team partner John Morrison currently wrestles. Mercury teamed with Morrison (then Johnny Nitro) and were managed by Melina, and found great success as a tag team.

 

Mercury was released in March of 2007, and worked on the independent scene for a while, but then retired in 2008, reportedly due to injuries.

Been playing around with the data and i noticed a few things that need corrected. i'll just keep editing this post as i find things.

 

- The GHC Heavyweight and Tag Champions need to be updated

- You should probably make a monthly for Shimmer, ex. Shimmer Volume and set the next number to 28.

- The Generation ME tag team needs to be added for TNA.

- Claudio Castagnoli's birth date should be December 27, 1980

- ROH should probably have an event in March

- Davey Richards needs removed from EVOLVE and DGUSA.

- Eddie Kingston should be a face in ROH

- Sara Del Ray and Daizee Haze need added to ROH, Maybe Unscripted?

- Maybe give Brian Kendrick a short contract with ROH contract as he's set to appear there for a show or two.

- The TNA Gobal champion is Rob Terry he beat Eric Young at a house show.

- Maybe starting storylines and a little more chemistry?

- Just my personal opinion here but maybe give Low-Ki a little bit of a stat boost.

- Sorta a request maybe add Chikara in a future version, Also how about adding Joker from BLKOUT please .

- Add a Eddie Kingston & B-Boy Tag Team to JAPW. They go by The Un4given.

- Add Teddy Hart & Jack Evans to JAPW

- Maybe add Human Tornado to ROH as hes schedule for a few of ROH's upcoming events.

- Maybe make Scott Hall only an Occasional Wrestler.

- Also i wouldn't add Joey Mercury to WWE quite yet as he was supposed to return a year or two ago and didn't.

- For ROH make Supercard of Honor, Manhattan Mayhem, Death Before Dishonor, Glory By Honor and All Star Extravaganza use numerals rather than numbers

-Kendrick signed his deal to appear for the Anniversary card before he signed with TNA. Likely he will be done with the company as soon as his 1 or 2 appearences are over, something the game wont simulate. So I'd rather just leave him out. I did the same thing when TNA signed the Young Bucks.

 

-Starting storylines and chemistry are kinda "meh" to me. I'll add chemistry I'm sure as I see fit or encounter it, but starting storylines I feel constrain the mod player too much as they must either end or continue the storyline. And if they REALLY want to go forward with a current angle, they can always just start an unchained storyline themselves, since that is likely what they'd be set at.

 

-Looking at Ki after this post, might boost him, might not.

 

-I already added Joker. Chikara is a promotion I'm actually trying to avoid, and would love someone that's an "Expert" to maybe add them for me. All their guys are fairly mysterious/masked so finding proper birthdays and alter-egos is really hard.

 

-JAPW additions, need to look at their future shows. Those two teams havnt appeared recentley, and to my knowledge arnt scheduled for the future.

 

-Keeping Scott Hall active as I feel it sims better. I may make him occasional once his TNA stint is up, which I feel may be soon.

You don't have to put the numerals in, just put the number in and switch the postfix to numerals. The game calculates the numeral.

I see what ya mean, maybe put Sara and Daizee in with non-wrestler contracts so they can mange, which is what they do most of the time anyways these days in ROH.

I just thought I would let you know that you didn't change the database info. It still says version 1.0. Not a big deal, but I downloaded it a few different times from different places thinking it was the old one.

the next data will be likely released March 1st, so I've done some things that may seem premature, be it removing people from rosters (mainly due to TNA/ROH/DGUSA contract issues) and I've already renamed ECW on SyFy and retired the ECW title. I did turn the ECW brand into a brand named NXT with the new roster, but that will likely change (if NXT isnt its own brand) in the coming weeks.

 

Also I'm not quite sure how the new MXPW will be working, so I basically just renamed BSE to MXPW, made Scott D'Amore the owner instead of Arda Ocal (Blezard still as head booker) and added the BCW titles & lineages to MXPW. So currently it has all BCW & BSE titles as active and no titles under the MXPW banner.

Having some problems here, Im trying to download 2.1, but your first megaupload link took me to a databse labeled 1.0, and I saw it didnt have any of the updates (like the ECW name change)
