bshankly
well two months into the game and noticed a few changes. Main one for me is Joey Minnessota's attitude, he's turned into a complete ass. Wondering if anyone has gone far enough ahead to know if you job him for a year or so will be turn into a usable main eventer or will he just worse? Wolfs attitude seems ok, he's gotten angry very quickly after i used him to push Joshua Taylor. There was a big difference in there pop before so thats ok, he will get the wins at the end. Bryan Vessey doesn't like me, he's failed two drug tests and stormed out when i warned him about them. Tag team division seems very weak at the start of the game, will take a while to build it up. No problem making money with the promotion although i started the second TV show now so that will cost more.
Lt. Lucrativo
Joey hasn't caused any problems for me over the first few months, but I haven't been pushing him very strong yet. Wolf, on the other hand, has continued his mega-push under my leadership. He hasn't yet caused any problems either, though. I hired a few strong locker room guys at the start of the game, and that seems to have done the trick. No one's had more than one negative incident over the first several months. Threatening to fire Vessey over the steroids often seems to get him to change his ways. Once you start the firing process, you still have a chance to change your mind and keep him the next day. The biggest challenge I've found is that Tommy won't let me spend the money required to resign anyone at the top of the card. I suppose it makes sense that he'd be tight with money given TCW's precarious financial situation at the start of the game, but it's not like we're not making a strong profit every month. Still, my biggest suggestion would be to push only people who are locked into long term contracts
HHUK
I've had no problem, basically by staying out of trouble. Ban smoking, start organising travel, that kind of thing, keeping the locker room happy is vital for keeping a healthy roster. Joey Minnesota does annoy me though, he seems to bring the roster down far more than I'd like, I keep using him as a pawn to trade NOTBPW for Sean McFly who pulls off some amazing iron man matches with Tommy Cornell. Wolf's never given me a problem, probably because I push him as Cornell's sidekick and they steamroll everything. Vessey however, I've had to reduce drug testing and never specifically target him. I've never been able to get him to behave as soon as there's confrontation so just avoid it from the start.
bshankly
i always work as owner so i don't have cornells limits which is good. i'm thinking of bringing in Larry Vessey and giving them the tag title once mpre and see if Bryan cheers up a bit. bshankly
Danny Fonzarelli lads, can't even get a C+ match rating from him and have his pop upto B (angles with eddie Peak). Does anyone have any advice on getting his match ratings up or should i job him out of the company?
praguepride
C+ isn't bad for a midcarder. Use him as jobber fodder.
Antithesis
I havent had any problems with any of the TCW guys backstage, really, aside from like Jasmine showing up late and Eddie Peak breaking wind. I lowered the testing level (mainly because of money) so I have yet to bust anyone using. Instituted a few more rules (no alcohol, must show up 3 hours early) but also agreed to pay for travel to and from the show, a chiropractor etc. You can fire some of the non essential bad seeds. (Arnold Westberry and/or Jasmine Saunders) And hire some folks who are positive influences backstage. Bob Casey and Biff the Bruiser are two guys who won't complain about being permanent jobbers and are big positive influences backstage.
Woodsmeister
C+ isn't bad for a midcarder. Use him as jobber fodder. In TEW 2010 he starts as an upper midcarder
Woodsmeister
C+ isn't bad for a midcarder. Use him as jobber fodder. In TEW 2010 he starts as an upper midcarder I usually bring in Steve Flash, Frankie Perez, Jacob Jett, Samoan Machine and Rhino Umaga who all seem to have good/ok personalities so that usually balances it up and reduces the negative energy. Also the backstage rules I organise things for them and get a chiropractor and massuse (spelling) and that seems to do the trick.
