pat666
I'm really not a big fan of making in deep storyline for the TEW game. I prefer booking shows the day of the show I'm playing WWE, and i want to know, Does storylines helps you having better ratings? Since I'm not a big fan of storyline can I assign a unchained storyline? I mean will I get the same heat with the unchained storyline than a indeep segment per segment storyline? acidfrehley
I think that the unchained storylines are just an easier way to use a storyline. The heat and the other factors tend to be the same, as long as you make the whole story to evolve as it should.
pat666
whats "evolve?.... i dont really understand storylines since ive never used them
Guest KingOfKings
It's just a way of saying make sure you use good angles and have good matches with the workers involved in your storyline. This way that generates more "heat" for the storyline which in turn affects popularity and other factors.
pat666
yeah but in storyline theres a "evolves" buttom you can press once the storyline is started. What's this?
Guest KingOfKings
Thats used for storylines that have more than one part to them. Not associated with unchained storylines so much. For example.. Say you choose 1 vs. 1 storyline (ver. 1) once all the steps are completed, you can evolve it to version 2.
pat666
oh ok!... and for how much time the storyline will still be hot? Also, does only and angle on the show work?, like post match attack, and have the 2 workers work different match on the show
Guest KingOfKings
The storyline will stay hot as long as the angles and matches stay good. Im not 100 percent sure about if the heat dies down if you drag it on for too long though.. And if you're using an unchained storyline the storyline progresses whenever both characters are on the show in the same segment together

Historian
If you're using WWE, you're going to need storylines, unless you messed with their product settings to make your audience not like them. And yes, storylines will add to the over-all match rating, if the storyline is hot. I agree that you should utilize the unchained storylines, then you can just make it up as you go. For example, say you're running a storyline between The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels and you have the heat on it up to A and then you think "Oh, I have a great idea to add Chris Jericho to this feud!" If you evolve it to a 3 person unchained storyline you can add Jericho and the heat will still be A. You won't have to start over, basically. Further you can evolve the 3 person storyline into a different three person storyline later. Or a two person with Shawn and Chris that you can later evolve into a new three person. You can never lose the heat from your storylines unless you want to.

Thanks Yes, it will help your ratings. The hotter your storyline is, the more heat you'll generate if you advance book the workers involved in the storyline. Furthermore, it will help the match rating as well. Further you can evolve the 3 person storyline into a different three person storyline later. Or a two person with Shawn and Chris that you can later evolve into a new three person. You can never lose the heat from your storylines unless you want to. Indeed. As long as you bring at least 2 (iirc) of the people in the previous storyline forward you can evolve it into whatever other story you want. another 2 person? sure! an 8 person unchained? Yup! The possibilities are endless!!!
