At the time, Japanese wrestling was dominated by BHOTWG, PGHW, GCG, three promotions that take wrestling very seriously. WLW decided to introduce "LuchaResu", a combination of the high-flying acrobatics of Lucha Libre and the hard hitting toughness of Puroresu, with more than a hint of comedy. Rules & Regulations: * Singles matches will be fought under 1 fall, 60 minute time limit bouts. * If a wrestler gets thrown or steps outside of the ring, they have up to the count of 20 before being counted out. * Weapons of any nature are ilegal and will result in an immediate disqualification. (Unless Otherwise Noted) * Tag Team or Multi-Man matches will have two referees, one on the inside of the ring and one on the outside. If the outside referee sees fit to reverse the decision then he may do so. * Tags can be made when both Tag Partner's make full body contact or by rolling outside of the ring. These wrestlers will be apart of the companies next tour. WLW January Tour Announced! World Level Wrestling (WLW) released information about their January 2010 Tour lineup. BUT, because it's WLW, you seem to know something about lucha libre, and it's fantastic in all ways, I will predict! 6-Man Tag Team Match 1.Dark Eagle, Magnum Kobe & Silver Shark vs Emerald Angel, The Great Hisato & Koki Ishibashi - The Universal champion's team pick the win, altough Angel, Hisato & Ishibashi could win this one. Non-Title Tag Team Match 2.Black House (Kazuma Narato & Mokuami Maita) vs HEROES (Beetle Kimura & Panda Mask II) Beetle and Panda were jobbers in my WLW atleast in 2008, so I'll pick the Black House. 6-Man Tag Team Match 3.Hell Monkey, Insane Machine & Americana vs Hypnos, Ketsueki Karasu & Nichiren Amagawa I have absolutely no idea who the hell is Amagawa, but I have always liked Hell Monkey & Americana, so I'll pick 'em. 1-Fall Singles Match 4.Japanese Phoenix vs UK Dragon If I am right about this match, and Japanese Phoenix, then he should have nooo chaance! 1-Fall Singles Match 5.Acid vs Yosuke Narita This could go either way honestly, but I'll pick Narita over Acid. 1-Fall Singles Match 6.Toyokuni Hardcore vs Koji Kojima Obviously Kojima is here to job.. He told the Newspaper that he plans on sending his son to wrestling school immediately so that he can be a wrestler just like his dad. "I have no doubt that my son will become a Champion. If he is anything like his father, he will rise to the top of the WLW roster in no time.", Panda Mask II informed us. When asked if parenthood will effect his training for his Tag Team match against Black House, Panda didn't seem to think so, "I don't see my kid at all. My wife feeds him, cleans him, reads to him...so I have all of the time in the world to train. She is very understanding. When I told her that I needed to go on tour for the last past 9 months, she was more than happy for me. In fact, she stayed with my brother for the entire time, keeping him company." Panda Mask II will team up with Beetle Kimura to take on the WLW Tag Team Champions, Black House, Kazuma Narato & Mokuami Maita at WLW's "Zombies Ate My Neighbours" Tour. Zombies Ate my Neighbours Tour #1 Wednesday, Week 2, January 2010 Live infront of 924 people at the Iwata Hall Key: o = winner, x = loser Match 1: Toyokuni Hardcore vs Koji Kojima These two got a little too intense for some WLW fans. More of a brawl than a wrestling match. Toyokuni Hardcore managed to defeat Koji Kojima with the Toyokuni Drill after various near falls. o Toyokuni Hardcore{W} defeated Koji Kojima{L} x (12:08 - Toyokuni Drill) D+ WLW is Weak! After the match, Toyokuni Hardcore asks for a microphone and says that World Level Wrestling is just as weak as Koji Kojima. Hardcore warns us that the Apocalypse is near. Rating: D- Match 2: Acid vs Yosuke Narita Yosuke Narita managed to defeat Acid in a solid wrestling match that saw a lot of hard hitting strikes and suplexs. o Yosuke Narita{W} defeated Acid{L} x (12:08 - Thunder Shock) C- Match 3: Japanese Phoenix vs UK Dragon Japanese Phoenix tried to take the fight to the air but UK Dragon did a good job grounding him. After a missed Moonsault, UK Dragon puts Phoenix away with the Dragon Drop. o UK Dragon{W} defeated Japanese Phoenix{L} x (11:54 - Dragon Drop) D Match 4: Hell Monkey, Insane Machine & Americana vs Hypnos, Ketsueki Karasu & Nichiren Amagawa Good exciting 6-Man tag that saw New Circle of Blood members isolate and beat down Americana. Once Americana managed to break free and tag out to Hell Monkey, it was an all-out spotfest. All 6 men managed to hit their signature moved untill Hell Monkey finally pinned Nichiren Amagawa with the Hell Fire Kick. o Hell Monkey{W}, Insane Machine & Americana defeated Hypnos, Ketsueki Karasu & Nichiren Amagawa{L} x (14:43 - Hell Fire Kick) C An Act of Disrespect Afterwards, Ketsueki Karasu ambushed Hell Monkey from behind, attacking him while his injured partners were healing. Ketsueki hits Hell Monkey with TWO back-to-back Sit-Out Piledrivers before being pulled off of him. Rating: E Zombie Dancing? Before our next match, "Thriller" by Michael Jackson hits, Panda Mask II & Beetle Kimura walk out with at least a dozen dancers dressed up as Zombies. They enter the ring and do a version of the Thriller dance. Rating: D- Match 5: Black House (Kazuma Narato & Mokuami Maita) vs HEROES (Beetle Kimura & Panda Mask II) This was more of a beat down than a competitive wrestling match. Panda Mask II gets double teamed for pretty much the entire match untill he manages to escape their grasp and tag out to his partner. Kimura shows a little bit of fighting spirit untill Narato and Maita destroy him with a Double Brainbuster. o Kazuma Narato{W} & Mokuami Maita defeated Beetle Kimura{L} & Panda Mask II x (10:28 - Double Brainbuster) D Match 6: Dark Eagle, Magnum Kobe & Silver Shark vs Emerald Angel, The Great Hisato & Koki Ishibashi An all-out lucha libre spotfest, filled with tons of whacky armdrags, headscissors and dives. After everyone took a turn killing each other with vicious moves, Magnum Kobe applied the Magnum Deathlock on Emerald Angel. Although Emerald Angel never taped out, the referee called for the bell fearing that Angel might suffer an injury. o Dark Eagle, Magnum Kobe{W} & Silver Shark defeated Beetle Emerald Angel{L}, The Great Hisato & Koki Ishibashi x (19:50 - Magnum Deathlock) C+ Medical Assistance After the match, Emerald Angel was given medical assistance and helped back to the dressing room. Luckily, both wrestlers suffered minor injuries and will be allowed to continue competing. When asked about not tapping out, Emerald Angel said it was more than just about winning or losing, "I didn't tap out because I am not a quitter. The fact that I would've lost the fight never crossed my mind. I will never give up on myself, the fans or WLW. I look forward to finding my redemption at WLW's next show." Unlike his on-again/off-again tag team partner, Hell Monkey had a lot less to say about Ketsueki Karasu's vicious attack, "KETSUEKI KARASU!! ARRRGGGHHHHHHH!!!" The WLW Show Stealer Champion then proceeded to fling a chair across the room and scramble to the door. World Level Wrestling would like to apologize to it's fans for any inconvenience. WLW returns with it's second show of the "Zombies Ate My Neighbours" tour on Sunday. Zombies Ate my Neighbours Tour #2 Sunday, Week 2, January 2010 Live infront of 968 people at the Iwata Hall Key: o = winner, x = loser Match 1: Silver Shibanuma vs Spyder Yakuta Both of these guys are making their WLW debut. Solid fast-paced action with tons of innovative offense. Silver Shibanuma picks up the win with a 460 Degree Splash. o Silver Shibanuma{W} defeated Spyder Yakuta{L} x (11:53 - 460 Degree Splash) D+ Lucky Lottery Pick All of the competitors of the Lucky Lottery 6-Man Tag Team match are out and inside of the ring. There's a huge rotating steal lottery bin in the middle of the ring, inside the bin are a bunch of balls with various wrestlers names on them. An WLW official rotates the steal bin around then picks a ball out, Ryu Kajahara?! Unfortunately, Ryu Kajahara is nowhere to be found, they announce a re-draw. The next name drawn out is....Tommy Cornell?! Again, Tommy Cornell isn't at the show so we gotta re-draw. The 3rd name picked from what seems to be an Unlucky Lottery is...Hijo de la Panda Mask II?!? A shorter and slender Panda Mask walks out. He slides into the ring and hugs Panda Mask II, shouting, "Papa! Papa!". Panda Mask II tries to get Hijo de la Panda Mask II out of the ring but it's too late, the referee already called for the bell. Rating: E Match 2: New Circle of Blood (Hypnos, Nichiren Amagawa and SPEED-D) vs HEROES (Panda Mask II & Beetle Kimura) & Hijo de la Panda Mask II Hijo is kept out of the ring for the majority of the match untill he tags himself in and surprises everyone by doing various highflying moves. Nichiren Amagawa calls for a Brainbuster on Hijo when his father jumps in the ring and saved him with a Spear. Panda Mask II lays Nichiren out with the Pandamonium and picks up a 3-count. o Panda Mask II, Beetle Kimura & Hijo de la Panda Mask II{W} defeated Hypnos, SPEED-D, Nichiren Amagawa {L} x (11:37 - Pandamonium) D- Match 3: Hell Monkey vs Acid Good back and forth match with both guys looking really good. After Hell Monkey hit his Tumbling Monkey it was all over for Acid. o Hell Monkey{W} defeated Acid {L} x (12:13 - Tumbling Monkey) C- Hell Monkey wants Ketsueki Karasu After the match, Hell Monkey grabs a microphone, looking intensely into the sea of fans and shouts his arch enemies name. Hell Monkey: ARRRGGGHH!!.....KETSUEKI KARASU!!!!!!! Rating: E Match 4: The Spirit Riders (Spirit of the Lizard & Spirit of the Shark) vs American Machine (Americana & Insane Machine) This is Spirit Riders WLW return match. Lizard and Shark use some impressive tag team offense but they couldn't keep American Machine down. Insane Machine managed to pin Spirit of the Shark following the Termination Kick. o Insane Machine{W} & Americana defeated Spirit of the Lizard & Spirit of the Shark {L} x (12:04 - Termination Kick) D+ Match 5: The Black House Nation (Kazuma Narato, Mokuami Maita and Toyokuni Hardcore) vs Koji Kojima, Koki Ishibashi and Yosuke Narita What started off as a quick-paced lucha libre match quickly turned into a brawl. Toyokuni Hardcore and Koji Kojima fought around ringside untill Narato and Maita dove ontop of them. Following a quick celebrating, Koji Ishibashi and Yosuke Narita leap over the ropes and come crashing down on the Tag Team Champs. Toyokuni and Koji find themselves back inside of the ring where the match comes to a conclusion following the Toyokuni Drill. o Kazuma Narato, Mokuami Maita & Toyokuni Hardcore{W} defeated Koji Kojima,{L} Koki Ishibashi & Yosuke Narita x (12:16 - Toyokuni Drill) C- WLW is pathetic like Koji Afterwards, Toyokuni Hardcore grabs a microphone and lets everyone know that WLW is just as pathetic as Koji Kojima. Hardcore warns us, once again, that the Apocalypse is near. The crowd booo's him out of the building. Rating: D- Match 6: The Red Guild (Dark Eagle & Magnum Kobe) vs Def-REALM (The Great Hisato & Emerald Angel) Great all-out action with tons of Lucha Libre armdrags and dives. Dark Eagle has the match won untill Great Hisato dumps him over the top ropes and brawls with him on the outside. Back in the ring, Emerald Angel counters the Magnum Deathlock into a Roll-Up, 1...2...3! WLW reporters caught up with a furious Magnum Kobe to talk with him about his loss, "Emerald Angel hasn't proved himself yet! A fluke win over me doesn't mean ANYTHING. If he want's to prove himself as a champion, I'll be more than happy to give him an opportunity, WLW can pick a suitable opponent for Emerald Angel at the next event and the winner of the match will be declared the #1 contender. And if Emerald Angel manages to come out of his match as the winner, I'll make sure to snap him in half with the Magnum Deathlock! The Apocalypse is near..." Emerald Angel will get a chance to prove himself as a #1 contender when he takes on a yet-to-be-named opponent, this Saturday night at the Matsumoto Hall. Eventually Ketsueki Karasu nails the Raven Driver III and picks up the win. o Ketsueki Karasu{W} defeated Americana{L} x (15:27 - Raven Driver III) C- Hell Monkey Attacks Afterwards, Hell Monkey runs out from the back with a larger cooler and slams it across Ketsueki's back. Monkey attacks Ketsueki with vicious strikes untill WLW officials pull him off. Rating: D- Match 2: Acid vs Silver Shibanuma Silver Shibanuma looked good, impressing everyone with his athletic ability. After a failed elbow drop, Silver Shibanuma puts Acid away with a 460 Degree Splash. Acid seems to be on a bit of a losing streak. o Silver Shibanuma{W} defeated Acid{L} x (11:54 - 460 Degree Splash) C Match 3: Black House(Kazuma Narato & Mokuami Maita) vs The Spirit Riders(Spirit of the Lizard & Spirit of the Shark) Spirit Riders held their own in this non-title match, giving the tag champs a run for their money in the first half of the match. After Lizard got dumped to the outside, Black House leveled Shark with a Double Brainbuster and covered him for a 3-count. o Kazuma Narato{W} & Mokuami Maita defeated Spirit of the Shark{L} & Spirit of the Lizard x (11:54 - Double Brainbuster) D Match 4: Unity Two(Koji Kojima & Koki Ishibashi) & Yosuke Narita vs The Red Guild(Silver Shark, Dark Eagle & Magnum Kobe) Very fast-paced and hard hitting 6-man tag. Koji Kojima clotheslined Silver Shark to the outside and brawled around ringside while Yosuke Narita dove ontop of Dark Eagle. In the ring, Magnum Kobe forced Koki Ishibashi to submit to his Magnum Deathlock. o Silver Shark, Dark Eagle & Magnum Kobe{W} defeated Koji Kojima, Koki Ishibashi{L} & Yosuke Narita x (15:22 - Magnum Deathlock) C Rogue Matsuo SF Tap-Out Challenge WLW Tap-Out Champion, Rogue Matsuo SF walks out to a sea of boo's. Rogue steps inside of the ring, lays his title out across the middle of the ring and stands there with his arms folded, waiting for his opponent. "Thriller" by Michael Jackson hits. Hijo de la Panda Mask II walks out to a mixed re-action. His father, Panda Mask II pleads with him to not accept the challenge but Hijo jumps into the ring and the referee calls for the bell. Rating: E+ WLW Tap-Out Championship Match Match 5: Rogue Matsuo SF© vs Hijo de la Panda Mask II Hijo surprises everyone by taking Rogue over with some nice Armdrags and Headscissors but it isn't long untill the Tap-Out Champion lays out the challenger with a vicious kick. Rogue dominated the match from there, forcing Hijo to submit to a CTU Control Technique(Shoulder Nerve Hold). o Rogue Matsuo SF{W} defeated Hijo de la Panda Mask II{L} x (10:00 - CTU Control Technique) E The Red Guild watches from the stands A spotlight shines on WLW Universal Champion, Magnum Kobe, Dark Eagle & Silver Shark who are watching the following match from the stands. Rating: D- #1 Contendership Match for the WLW Universal Championship Match 6: Emerald Angel vs Toyokuni Hardcore The match started off a bit slow but to picked up by the end. Emerald Angel got hit by the Toyokuni Drill, the same move that put away Koji Kojima twice in a row. Hardcore covered the lifeless Emerald Angel, 1...2...KICK OUT! The crowd errupts. Toyokuni goes for the move again but this time Angel slips behind him, dropkicks his knee out from underneath him and quickly knocks him out with the Angel Fury(Shinning Wizard), covering him, 1...2...3!! Emerald Angel will meet Magnum Kobe next week for the WLW Universal Championship! o Emerald Angel{W} defeated Toyokuni Hardcore{L} x (18:09 - Angel Fury) C Emerald Angel's last words After the match, Emerald Angel climbs the turnbuckle, points at Magnum Kobe and tells him that his days are numbered as the Universal Champion. When WLW reporters caught up with him, Panda Mask II seemed confident that his new gum deal will strike him gold, "It's all up from here, folks! I'm movin' on up to a deluxe apartment in the sky. It won't be long untill I'm rich, living in Miami and divorced with a brand spankin' new trophy wife!" When we asked him about his son entering the world of pro wrestling, Panda didn't have too many good things to say about him, "He stinks! I'm almost ashamed to call him my son. I mean, after seeing him for the first time since he was born, two weeks ago, he should've at least done something to impress me! But since he's my son, I guess I have to keep him under my wing. Maybe one day he'll be as good as his father and become WLW's #1 superstar!" Hijo de la Panda Mask II will get a chance to impress his father when he tags up with Beetle Kimura & Panda Mask II to take on The Spirit Riders & Nichiren Amagawa, Friday night at Matsumoto Hall.
