Stardyton
I only had 05 before this and loved it, but I was really bad at it. But yeah, whatever, my friend bought this for me today, and yeah, been playing nonstop. But, I'm doing awful, to say the least. Does anybody have any advice on how to just... do better? Doesn't matter on if it's to get a TV Show, how many events to hold, who to sign, whatever, just so long as it can help me do better at it. TakerNGN74
Well in all honesty each promotion is different, so it really depends on what fed you are using and what they want for shows. For instance some feds like NOTBPW you can get away with booking all matches for a show, but with say SWF you have to do angles to go along with your matches so it really depends there is no right way to book things. Stardyton
Oh, okay then. I guess the feds I'll mainly be using are ZEN, SWF (which you kinda already answered for) and 5SSW, anything I should and shouldn't be doing for them?
jesterx7769
A common misconception is that the bigger feds are easier, so like taker said, what promotion are you using? Then we can give some tips geard toward them. I would also try to figure out what kind of promotion you like running, meaning do you like matches based on their wrestling skills or do you prefer popularity people? I personally think have them rated equally is best since you can have some C/D popularity workers putting on B matches and there are more C/D people than B free agents out there So yeah, let us know a little about who you are playing as then we can help :-)
Stardyton
Oh, okay then, I'm currently playing three games and about to start a fourth one. The first one is a SWF one, the second is a ZEN one, the third is a 5SSW one and the one I'm going to make is a... not sure what the term is for TEW, but for EWR it's Backyard to Global, 0 on everything and just rise to the top. sabataged
generally speaking I have found that CZCW and MAW are two of the easiest promotions to start off with.
Remianen
First off, as mentioned, you haven't given a single piece of information that might be a jumping off point for anyone to give you any advice. In fact, with the information you gave, the advice that fits best is: Book better shows. Yeah, vague isn't it? But it fits the question! Who are you playing as? What are you doing? What results are you getting? What results are you expecting to get? If anyone told you how to get a TV show, it wouldn't help at all if you're booking in a nonsensical manner. Wait no, that's not true. You'd get to fail faster with a TV show. If the last TEW you played was 05, it's expected that this game (or 08) is whoopin' your arse but good. Look at it like this: TEW05 was Pong. TEW07 was Space Invaders/Pitfall. TEW08 was Myst. TEW2010 is Crysis (or Portal). Step 1 - Read the help file, in its entirety. Step 2 - Repeat Step 1 Step 3 - See Step 2 Step 4 - Read the 'Small questions' thread, in its entirety. Step 5 - Experiment based on what you've learned from steps 1-4 Step 6 - Repeat Steps 1-3 Step 7 - Write down all the questions that result then post them in the 'Small questions' thread (resist the temptation to make a new thread since the question's probably been asked before. Keeping it all in one thread makes it more useful to everyone) Easy to get answers but your question(s) should be a bit more specific than "I need to know how to play better".
