Rocland
It returns tonight for it's final season. I'm hooked and I have no clue why. I hate sci-fi stuff. Time travel is ridiculous and waited a good 3 years into the show to finally give it a chance (I got into it between the 4th and 5th season), but now, oh man. I can't get enough of this show. Especially the time travel! Jack, Sawyer, Kate, Ben, Richard, there is not a character on the show I don't like. Anybody else psyched for the return tonight? Bigpapa42
Yup, though I somehow expect this season to disappoint. Had actually forgotten it was tonight until a few hours ago.
FINisher
It's tonight? Can't wait. Have to watch it later from the net as it's 2.46AM here right now, hehe. I haven't even owned a TV for two years and half years now but LOST had me totally hooked right from the start. It's the only series ever that I have truly watched. Master Gilmore
Good episode. Not sure what the spoiler rules here are, but a certain character is quickly becoming one of my favorite TV villains ever.
Comradebot
I wouldn't post any spoilers... But only because I won't be able to watch it until this weekend! Probably. Along with 24, Men of a Certain Age (WATCH IT!), American Dad... Curse being at college with no TV!
GruntMark
Hulu has American Dad and 24. ABC will probably have Lost up by tomorrow. TNT.tv....is slow.
BHK1978
I wouldn't post any spoilers... But only because I won't be able to watch it until this weekend! Probably. Along with 24, Men of a Certain Age (WATCH IT!), American Dad... Curse being at college with no TV! Oh man Men of a Certain Age is awsome! The last episode was great! Now onto the topic, I love Lost. Part of me is glad that they are leaving on a high note, but part of me would like to see the Series go on for years to come. I thought tonight's episode was good, I will not make any comments on what actually happend because I would not want to ruin it for anybody. Jericho Rules
If the two episodes tonight are any indication, this season is going to be fantastic. Already some really cool stuff developing, and I can't wait to see how they wrap up the series.
FINisher
Wow.. I mean, wow. I'm still so so excited after seeing the first episodes.. Holy hell .. So many answers yet so many questions.. I love LOST. Like I said it's the only series I've ever watched or seriously been a fan of. This is just amazing and I can't wait for the next episode to already come. Oh and I second that 'becoming my favourite villain' if we're talking about the same dude here. If anyone wants to discuss about the episode, do PM me
BHK1978
Well tonight is the final episode which sucks because tonight I lose Lost and tomorrow 24 is gone for good as well. Overall I thought this was a pretty good season, I did not really understand the whole flash sideways storyline. I do hope the clear that up. The only episode that I really strongly disliked this season was the Jacob and the Smoke Monster's backstory episode. I thought it was a very weak episode to have on during the end run of the show. I agree. That episode should have been earlier in the season. I had pretty much figured out they were siblings. They just had those mannerisms towards each other in the one episode when Smokey said he wanted to kill him. With two and a half hours to show us The End I imagine I'll be completely satisfied. The only thing I'm disappointed about is that we're going to see LOST (black screen) flash before our eyes just one more time. It's going to run like a movie tonight pretty much. That's so freakin' cool.
Rocland
I'm psyched for the finale. I mean, I'm not happy about it ending forever but we've been waiting for this for 6 seasons. So hopefully it will live up to the hype (which it won't). I agree with the general consensus that the episode detailing Smokey and Jacob was weak. Also saying that the smoke monster was born out of a cave full of light is...well..ridiculous.

Linsolv
My girlfriend is a huge LOST fan, actually. Her cable's out and she wanted to know how it ended so I was giving a play-by-play of the last 10 minutes. Hence the reason I was able to jump in and troll you guys right away. I'm just glad I only started watching the series this past summer. I caught up on the five previous seasons before this season started. That was just plain horrible. Antithesis
Like Logan, I also just began watching Lost on DVD a few months ago, so I don't have the 6 years invested in it to get bent out of shape on how it ended, but I have several complaints about the ending. I won't go into them now because I'm sure some folks will scream about spoilers and all, but jeeze, in retrospect it seems like most of this last season was just a gigantic waste of time. BHK1978
Without going into spoilers, yeah that was weak. I guess that is the way it goes X Files, Seinfeld, Cheers and now this all had blah endings at least to me. I guess MASH was the only show to get it right. BHK1978
I also wanted to add, where was Michael and Walt? Why were we told that Walt was so important and then the topic was never brought up again?
Stennick
To be fair its nearly impossible to write a good series finale. To wrap up an entire show in one episode to have one episode to be the last one ever. Thats a tough gig, everyone watches shows for different reasons and so your always going to have to leave out somebody in the end. I've heard this is the greatest finale since Mash and I've heard it was laughable awful. I heard the same thing about Soprano's as well. Lucky for me I've never watched an entire episode of this show but from what little bit I know and have seen I'm almost certain somebody can go back and blow wholes in the big reveals logic. Spoiler I think its funny people guessed this was purgagory way back in S1 and the creators SWORE that wasn't the case. Either they really didn't know how they were going to end it or they were like "crap they figured it out, deny deny deny"
Comradebot
Well, without getting into any specifics... I DO think the ending on the island itself was PERFECT. The other part... eh. Could be worse.
crownsy
I'm now offically glad i could never get into this show, after being forced to watch it tonight at a "lost finale party" Spoiler: I did find it hillarious, as was pointed out above, that I watched season one and half of season 2, and was convinced the island was purgatory and they all died in the crash. I was told over and over by my friends over the last few years that i haden't given the show a fair shake and that it was much deeper than that. Turns out the writers we're indeed going to end it with the crappy "they all died, OWND!" ending Also, to those who say It had a super open ended ending, and if you don't get that, that's your loss, this show tried that what....12 years ago now? http://japanstation.com/2010/01/10/evangelian-a-psychological-analysis/neon-genesis-evangelion-10/ some posts are already pointing out that while the shows had nothing in common, the endings are nearly identical (not counting the E.O.E movies, just the series ending) SPoiler alert...to be safe: At the end of that series, the characters "killed" god, and were able to create a world and live in it, the end of the story implied they were all dead, and that they had created a new world to live in post-death, ala purgatory The interesting thing is that the above was so poorly received,a movie was made to flesh out the ending and answer a bunch of stuff that was left unaddressed. I wonder if lost will go a similar route. you could call it: LOST: WHY THE HELL WAS WALT IMPORTANT AGAIN? (seriously, they sunk at least the first season and a half that i watched into this kid being key to the whole thing....WTH?)
Stennick
Thats why I'm of the belief they worked everybody when they said "we have a plan". Thats like Flashforward saying it would take five years to tell their story. Of course their going to say that, five years is roughly syndication time. I don't know anything about this series so I can't comment too much. I'm of the belief though that this series or its fans or both prided itself on answering every small unanswered question. Even if the answer didn't make all that much sense a lot of times I was told the answer is another question to another answer etc. At the end of the day I think it was a dog chasing its own tale. Like an uber Vince Russo. Swerves and swerves for the swerves all the while claiming it will make sense in the end but at the end we're still left wondering who really did pull that briefcase up during the McMahons/Austin ladder match.... MrCanada
when's the part where the stranded guys have to struggle for survival? Building shelters, starting fires, hunting, ext? I've never seen lost, but I thought it was supposed to be like Castaway. Now when I hear people talking about it, it seems more like twilight zone.
