Bobinc mod questions

Recommended Posts

As I look at moving my mod to tew10 I want to ask the players of my bobinc women mods last being breaking barriers what kind of things they liked about them and what kind of things they would like to see changed or added.

Do you want more promotions or less? Closer to reality or my own twists? Dead wreslters added or not? Ect..

Please don't just post it sucks I play "X" I am looking for honest opinons I have thick skin so don't be afraid to be brutally honest.

To be honest i didnt play it, womens wrestling has never really interested me but if its an all women mod then why not have your own twists and etc in there?

So you know since you said you didn't play it. It does have its owns twists. Mcmahan family feud leads to shane leaving and starting his own promotion. Some written deals to hold workers in some places. Certain promotions set to open at certain times. With 10 though you can do more with the narritive options.

With this kind of mod you are forced to modify the world to fit the promotions or they all die.

BobInc.i can say i have played your women's mod and i did enjoy it,despite being raided by those touring feds

How about making your story line similar to Tommy's war of the immortals.

That way you can bring back retired and or deceased wrestlers.

Another thing that is also a possibility and might be fun is adding the women wrestlers from Cornell Verse into the mod. That would give you alot more workers for your mod. You'd consider it your own alternate reality were the women workers from the CVerse merged into one with women workers from past and present similar to Tommy's mod but with a CVerse twist.

Also yes more promotions would be nice, but you would need more female workers for that also.

Also WWE needs revamping.Drop it to 1 brand only, they don't have enough workers to fill out 2 brands.

Overall was a great mod to play i had fun with it alot even though i HATE touring feds. Well at least in 2010 i can now go to war with them and use some dirty tricks :D

Not argue with an above poster, but please don't add in the cornelleverse women. I liked your breaking barriers mod but I really dislike "fantasy characters" just my opinion. Also I would like the women to have stats like what the men do in "real world mods" so the great mat wrestling women would have high technical skills. But clearly not inflated stats.

I'm a huge women's wrestling fan and Always put a heavy emphasis on it. no matter what fed I'm using Women's wrestling is vital. I loved your mode because there where so many talented women in it that get overlooked by other mods. I loved that you had the Knight Family in there, allowing for use of the real life mother daughter tag team.

I also feel your mod was more fair, in that alot of mods highly underrate women wrestlers. Alot of mods, it's like no women outside of japan have any skill. Sure they may rate Del Ray high, but that's about it.

Personally I'm not a fan of adding too much fantasy too it, adding your own twist and storyline is perfectly fine...I'd dislike it if deceased wrestlers are added though, I prefer a more "realistic" game. I realize it's obviously all fantasy, but the closer to reality in regards to promotions and workers the better.

I very much so look forward to another breaking barriers tho, loved 08's.

The reason i suggested that (fantasy, deceased) was to add more workers to the game world.

But i think a mod on the line of Tommy's WOTI (there's that name again) would be cool to.

I think there are enough women out there to make a complete game. I wouldn't be opposed to making abunch of random women to be debuted at differant points throughout the game. They could already have pics associated with them (just random mma fighters or models) and using the new features of TEW 10 some could be predestined to become stars.

I get what your saying though, and if he chooses that route it's certainly his right. I'd simply delete the deceased/active women and go about the game the other way.

WOTI was a great mod tho, so no disrepect intended, it was well done and enjoyable. It's just with this being the only real women's mod...I like the realism. But BobInc will hit us with whatever he does, and even if I have to spend some time altering it, I'm sure I'll love it like the last one.

You asked for honest, so here goes....

More workers. I realize it's not always possible to figure out who's doing what and when (especially with regard to Japan and Europe) but I'd like to see more than just SHIMMER, WWE, and TNA fully represented. This was my biggest beef with the mod. There were several workers that you had picture cuts for (not necessarily included in the mod but on your site) that weren't in the game. The absence of many of the Ibuki/Ice Ribbon/SENDAI girls was also pretty obvious, though I can admit it's hard to get info on them.

More promotions is a decent idea, as long as they're different. Heck, ressurect FMW and such (when I played the mod, I always created AJW and ran it).

Kill area restrictions. They don't apply, really. Women especially jump oceans to work in areas they aren't native to, often for 6-9 months at a time (i.e. the length of a visa).

I'd like to see you use ALL of the game's possible features to spice the mod up. This time around, that might include eras, preset storylines, narratives, preset chemistry, variable trends, bidding wars, and so forth.

Take the mod and mold it to the story you want to tell. Freak anyone who doesn't like it (myself included), they can just refrain from playing it. :p

I played last year's version extensively and turned Kisu into an international superstar. That's what I liked about it. It basically removed all the crap I wasn't interested in (the entire men's side, basically) and allowed me to whoop Steph's ass by bloating her workers' value beyond what she could afford to pay them. :p

Oh yeah, speaking of Kisu, I'd like to see some underrepresented areas, well, represented. I came across a quick match on a compilation DVD someone sent me featuring FINNISH women's wrestlers (Kisu vs Aurora, I think) from Fight Club Finland. Pretty sure FlameSnoopy or FIN could get info on them. ;)

Just a few suggestions. :)

Remianen made some good points. I wouldn't mind lending a hand when it comes to finding promotions of info about wrestlers. Most promotions have a roster page with pictures and info on them, and most anyone has some sort of videos on youtube.

Two additions to last years mod would be Jersey All Pro Wrestling, which added it's own women's "Brand" ontop of it's division. They held four all women shows last year. Sara Del Ray is I believe still their champ.

I also noticed WWW wasn't in the game. WWW is World's Women's Wrestling and is a "Brand" of my local promotion, New England Championship Wrestling. At last check their roster including such names as "New Bedford's own" Ariel, "Boston's own" Nikki Roxx, Amber, Alicia CHA CHA, Delle Morte, Neveah, Portia Perez and Sara Del Ray. Beth Phoenix is also an alumni of WWW and NECW.

I'm by no means an expert on women wrestlers of the world, but seeing as I loved last years mod and I want another great edition I feel the least I could do is offer to help.

I like the feed back keep it coming. Adds fuel to the modding fire. I actually do have info on some of the promotions mentioned but I chose to leave them out for one reason or another. I can include them but they may be future promotions because the problem you run into is having every one working for 3 promotions but I will toy with it. As for adding the cornellverse I have never really thought of it as I like the real people but maybe an idea for various versions after finishing.

Like I said though good feedback and keep it coming I. May contact some to see what info they have or can point me too.

The cornell thing could be cool, I added some females from the cornell verse to my women's game, I believe it was Alicia Strong, Brooke Tyler and Amber something, all three very good women's wrestlers. I just added them and lowered thier ages, making them new to the world or yet to debut. Once debuted I would sign them up and stick em in developmental for a year. It was a way of making sure there would be some solid additions to the next generation.

Yeah, I see this problem. It's hard to simulate it properly since many women stateside work for up to 8 promotions. But remember, it's your world. Do with it what you want. It's also going to be hella hard to simulate Japan with so many veteran workers in their late 30s and still active/semi-active. Hell, Jaguar Yokota is almost 50 and she still does the occasional show.

I know whatever Bob Inc. does it will be awesome, why?

Bob Inc. lives in Minnesota. The Viking's are in Minnesota. Nuff said

But on a serious note. Would really love to see more smaller promotions and more indy workers. And if possible more promotions in other countries.

Also one more thing you might want to do is boost there stamina.

I've dipped a time or two in your woman's mod. I love the women, but I just can never get into a completely turn about like that, so I'm going to give you another twist idea that you might like for an alternate. I only thought of this because of your comment about adding C-Verse women to the mod as an "Alt" mod, it gave me this thought.

Why not have an alternate release where you do utilize Male worker's, perhaps importing them from your real world mod. The difference being that women would still dominate (have all the top positions in the companies), and perhaps add a few companies to have intergrated roster's (not all of them). This would ensure a female run gameworld, while still being able to use male worker's. You could also play around with potentials and such to ensure that no male's become the icon's over the females.

I know it doesn't remain the same that way, but as I said, perhaps as an "Alt" Mod to the original data.

I haven't had a chance to play 10' as much as I'd like yet, but I do find the world doesn't give the females a fair shake in area's such as longevity. Shame if it's still a (IMO) handicap to the game.

Its been a while since I touched 08 but I believe I had a promotion or two that opened later that allowed male wrestling. The problem with them is the ai didn't do much with them because of the limited selection that the game world created but I could see creating future workers that would allow for a "rogue" male fed to open and have talent and try to compete.
