lintyfresh
I'm loving this game. Currently I'm using the real-world mod and having a grand time with a start up promotion with no fanbase. I'm three shows in and the best match I've gotten so far is a D-, which is quite the improvement from the F-'s I was pulling the first show. My question though is about the angles. No matter what I do I always get an F- and the notes say that the fans came to see wrestling and that they were irritated by the angle. Currently I'm at 90% wrestling... but even when I put it at 80% wrestling I still get the same message. My promotion is currently set at Traditional: Main Feature and the rest of the settings are all set to Low. Is getting a better grade on the angle... or at least having the fans stop hating them as simple as changing the % of wrestling on the show to something like 70% or 60%? Or do I also have to bump up my levels of modern and mainstream? Thanks.
LoNdOn
A traditional wrestling promotion should be just that. Heavy emphasis on wrestling with minimal angles. In a two hour show there should maybe be 7 minutes of non wrestling action. That is why the angles are getting poor ratings, your fans don't want to see them. Hope I helped. The Masked Orange
If you want to use angles bumb up mainstream and comedy, not modern. Modern=Early TNA X-Division.
gazwefc83
@ London: Traditional Wrestling in the product isnt the reason, in my 1989 mod, the WWF are set to Traditional & Mainstream with 50% matches for TV and 70% matches for Events and there is no problem with angles. You you only use Traditional then it becomes the problem
lintyfresh
Thanks very much for the answers. So no matter what I set the match % to be, unless I add mainstream to the promotion the fans will turn on it?

You you only use Traditional then it becomes the problem I realise this but you have misunderstood me. I based my response on the fact that he said he was entirely focused on traditional with everything else being on low. So you are basically saying the same as what I am. Craig Edwards
also your angles will get bad grades until your workers are over enough to pull off good angles as it is base alot of pop
Remianen
Jesus! lintyfresh, change your match ratio to 80%. Problem solved. The game has a 10% leeway window. So with an 80% match ratio, you only have to run 10% of your show time as angles (9 mins in a 90 min show), but can go as high as 30%. That's all. Do that and you won't get that message anymore (though your angles might still bomb since they're largely based on your workers' overness, regardless of what they're rated on (Mic, entertainment, etc). Overness is GOD). With a 90% ratio, even your main eventers' angles could bomb since, as the message says, the fans didn't come to hear people jibber jabber, they came to see 'em fight. You won't get the message all the time but it'll still happen. So change to 80%, run your 10% of show time as angles (and this is important, it must be AT LEAST 10% of the show's time. Use the show's length as a guide, not how much wrestling time you've booked. 90 min show = 9 minutes of angles. 120 min show = 12 mins, and so on). If you fail to meet that 10%, your show rating will take a hit.
LucianCarter
Except that he said but even when I put it at 80% wrestling I still get the same message. So something more complicated is at play.
