PGHW Founder Sadaharu Jimbo

PGHW was created by Japanese legend Sadaharo Jimbo in 1996, and has become known worldwide for the physically intense style of wrestling that they focus on, and also for the sheer quality of their matches - they regularly headline shows with breath-taking match of the year candidates.

Their meteoric rise saw them quickly emerge as a serious threat to BHOTWG's dominance of Japanese wrestling, but a horrible couple of years between 2008 and 2010 has seen their momentum stall; during this period the demanding in-ring style of the promotion finally started taking its toll, and almost all their top stars have had to sit out with long-term injuries and health issues. The promotion now faces the question of whether it must tone down its famous style for the good of its roster.

Much like its top stars Pride Glory Honor Wrestling wasn’t in the best shape. The dazzling rise of the company had to halt sometime, after all things can only grow for so long until things start to go awry. The problem Pride Glory Honor Wrestling had to face was the condition of its top performers and the type of risks they were putting themselves through for the good of the company and for the respect of the crowd. PGHW was known for its hard hitting physically intense style of wrestling. The PGHW fans ate up anything the company could dish out. PGHW had superstars like Yoshimi Mushashibo and Nobuatsu Tatsuko tearing up arena after arena with great matches and young guns like PRIDE Koiso and Noriyori Sanda trying to prove to the world that they were the future of Japanese wrestling. It had built its reputation on giving the fans the best wrestling show in Japan, maybe even the world. PGHW put on shows that featured the wrestlers risking their lives trying to prove that they were the best wrestlers in the world and trying to become the PGHW Glory Crown champion. However PGHW had built its reputation on a bed of nails, a bed of nails where once false move could result in tragedy for the company and its wrestlers. No one thought that the very thing that would bring PGHW down would be what made the company such a success in the first place. Intense hard hitting matches were what the crowds came to see but they came with a price. In an awful twist of fate, PGHW might fall on its own sword.

The '4 Pillars of PRIDE': Yoshimi Mushashibo, Mito Miwa, Nobuatsu Tatsuko and Shuji Inukai

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v107/bretter_person/TEW%20Pics/text_separator.jpg

It was clear to the entire wrestling world what had de-railed PGHW. The forceful style of matches that its top stars had been wrestling for years was finally starting to take its toll. The PGHW ‘4 Pillars of PRIDE’ had all spent significant time off healing injuries and licking their wounds. Yoshimi Mushashibo was on the sidelines for at least another year with a severe knee injury and Mito Miwa had just returned from a foot injury that had him out for 2 months. Nobuatsu Tatsuko has been showing the signs of slowing down for years with his knees and back being his biggest problems and PGHW’s toughest ‘Pillar of PRIDE’ Shuji Inukai had years of wear and tear taking a toll on his body. Things weren’t going well for the young guns of PGHW either. They were seeing their idols and mentors falling injured by the wayside doing the very thing they all love, wrestling for PGHW. While all seemed well on the surface it was clear to some insiders that severe injury was in the back of everyone’s mind. It was something the old guard had learnt to deal with. However that little niggling thought that any wrestler could be crippled at any time was sure to play on the inexperienced minds of many of PGHW’s younger wrestlers. There was also a second problem facing PGHW, and this problem manifested itself in an old enemy.

The Chosen One returns

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v107/bretter_person/TEW%20Pics/text_separator.jpg

The breakup of the INSPIRE Diversity Wrestling Group had surprisingly been a heavy blow to PGHW. No one in the wrestling world would have guessed that the breakup of INSPIRE, which was formed when 5 wrestlers from Burning Hammer sensationally quit, would result in a big boom period for Burning Hammer. INSPIRE’s top wrestler and president Tadiyuki Kikkawa had joined forces with Tetsuzan Kaneko and convinced the Burning Hammer board that current president Kaneie Komine’s tenure was up and new blood should be appointed. The Burning Hammer board quickly installed Tetsuzan as new Burning Hammer President and Kikkawa and some loyal followers ‘invaded’ Burning Hammer the very next show. Kikkawa had returned and he’d bought with him four of his ‘5 rebels’ that had left Burning Hammer in the first place. Raul Hughes was the only one that didn’t follow Kikkawa back as he wasn’t offered a position to follow his fellow rebels. He chose to have a few final MMA fights and retire after being betrayed by his former friend. The return of its prodigal son Tadiyuki Kikkawa meant a massive influx of old fans that had grown disillusioned with the style of wrestling Burning Hammer had been promoting after Kikkawa left. It wasn’t just a massive on screen boost for Burning Hammer but also a massive turning point behind the scenes, as Kikkawa and Tetsuzan Kaneko had done the unthinkable in the Japanese world of wrestling, remove Kaneie Komines iron grip from Burning Hammer and get him fired. Burning Hammer had once again cemented it’s place on top of the Japanese wrestling mountain.

The Rumours

Does Sadaharu want fresh blood in PGHW?

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v107/bretter_person/TEW%20Pics/text_separator.jpg

I’d heard Sadaharu Jimbo had been trying to contact me about possibly jumping ship to PGHW. While in theory that idea sounded good I wasn’t sure if I would fit in with the group of guys they’ve got over there. It had been quite some time since I’d been around any group of guys that size. Despite what people think I don’t really like being the centre of attention in an enclosed environment like that. Being the new guy at PGHW just isn’t a position I’d want to be in. The physical toll that I’ve heard those guys go through scares me. With Yoshimi out injured and most of their top guys hurting I can’t imagine it’d be a good place to walk into and profess my desire to help them become bigger and better than they were before. They’d chase me out of the locker room before I finished my sentence. I don’t think they’d believe me in the first place. The stigma of being associated with the enemy would turn an entire locker room against me from the get go. Having to work with guys that don’t trust me is a bad idea and that’s a situation I’d like to avoid. Going through that once was bad enough. Having to trust a group of guys that wouldn’t trust me in a million years would probably be the hardest part of taking the job.

The change has reinvigorated The North

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v107/bretter_person/TEW%20Pics/text_separator.jpg

They’ve tasted success at PGHW and it’s been taken away from them, much like my situation. I’m positive that group of guys still have the lingering taste of success and are hungry to return to their former glory. I’m pretty sure I can help them. I’ve got nothing to lose and clearly no other offers are coming through my phone. The situation would surely be hard to begin with, but if I could earn the trust of just one ‘Pillar of PRIDE’ there might be a chance. It’d be hard work gaining that trust. All 4 ‘Pillars’ have been with PGHW since their debut and I’ve never had the chance to work with any of them. Forging a friendship with men that have certainly hated my guts for years will be tough, but I’m sure my charm could win them over eventually. The chance to get back at Kikkawa and Burning Hammer would be too good to pass up. To slap the taste of success right out of their mouths would give me everlasting satisfaction. Change is a good thing. Canadian NOTBPW has shown that in recent months. Ever since Jeremy Stone took over from his Dad the company has been riding high. Change is what the wrestling business is built on. If Sadaharu Jimbo wants to inject some new blood into PGHW I’d sure as hell give mine.

Is PGHW about to hire a new booker?

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v107/bretter_person/TEW%20Pics/text_separator.jpg

Turns out the rumours were true. Sadaharu Jimbo is looking for someone to help bring PGHW some stability and return them to the top of Japan. It seems to be the best job in the world. PGHW already have a solid roster, probably the most gifted roster ever assembled. They already have name value and the already have money. All they need is that spark to reinvigorate the fans the same way Kikkawa returning to Burning Hammer did. Instead of waiting for Sadaharu Jimbo to call me I’ve decided it’s time to bite the bullet and give the man a call. We hadn’t spoken in years, well before the INSPIRE crisis. To say he was shocked to hear me was an understatement. After we exchanged the pleasantries the conversation took an unexpected route, at least for Jimbo.

A blossoming friendship?

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v107/bretter_person/TEW%20Pics/text_separator.jpg

Me: “Jimbo I’m not going to waste your time with any more small talk. I’m calling to put my hand up for work I hear you have going. You know damn well that the initial shock of my hiring would be gone pretty soon and we could get right down to business together and bring you guys to the top.”

Jimbo: “Hell, I never thought I’d hear those words out of your mouth. You’re practically begging me for work and actually being sincere about it. Nobuatsu would definitely have a problem with it. You two are more alike than anyone knows. You’d have to work hard to earn his respect because he’s driven to be the best and I think you’d shake his feathers. He’s been the franchise player here for many years and he’s driven like no other man in wrestling to keep his spot. I’ll give you the job alright, but you have to get along with Nobuatsu. You’ll be in charge of what’s going on, but he’s got control of what happens with the upcoming ELITE Series and the Glory Crown Championship for at least the next half a year. I owe him that much.”

Me: “Easily done Sadaharu. I want control of everything else. Hiring and firing along the rest of the show. Tatsuko can have this year’s Elite Series but I’ve got the next one. I’ll work alongside Tatsuko for the Glory Crown Championship after his 6 months are up so he feels wanted. He’s not needed, just remember that.”

Sadaharu: “If that’s how you want to play it…you think that’s wi…”

Me: “Of course it’s wise Sadaharu. If you let people walk all over you they’ll do so until you stand up for yourself. I’m not letting massive ego’s be a problem in my life any more, Kikkawa was enough.”

Sadaharu: “You do things your way, I’ll do things mine. We won’t be walking into an open war with BHOTWG. We’ve got ourselves to focus on and that’s where 100% of our focus will go. You may have this job, just remember I’m the boss. How’s that for standing up for myself!”

Me: “Nice to see you’ve still got that fire I’ve heard so much about. I’ll come to you Monday morning and sign the papers. Always a pleasure talking Sadaharu.”

Sadaharu: “9AM Monday morning and don’t be late, we’ve got a press conference booked at 10. Rest up and be prepared. Nice talking to yo …”

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v107/bretter_person/TEW%20Pics/text_separator.jpg

Enough with the pleasantries, I hung up. I’ve heard all I need to. The PGHW job is mine. Keeping Nobuatsu Tatsuko in control may be tough, I’ve heard that he loves to manipulate people into getting his own way. With some sweet talk and making the right moves at the right time I’m sure Tatsuko will be easy to keep in line. If he’s following my lead them the rest will soon follow. If he messes around then it might be a wise move to find someone else to hold my banner. Either way my revenge on Kikkawa and all of his friends starts 9am Monday morning. Time to set in motion the power plays that will help me become the most powerful man in Japan. Time to orchestrate the eventually comeback of PGHW and the downfall of Burning Hammer.

The figureheads of PGHW

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v107/bretter_person/TEW%20Pics/text_separator.jpg

There was a small buzz in the room. There was a table draped in the PGHW banner and behind that was situated a big black double door The shouting turned to a hush as Sadaharu Jimbo and Nobuatsu Tatsuko walked through the door and sat at the table. The press immediately went silent when Sadaharu Jimbo started to talk.

Sadaharu: “Welcome everybody. I’d respect you all if you keep a minimal to amount of questions and we save them for the end of our press conference. I’m sure you’ve all heard the rumours and today they will all be put to rest. I’m sure you all know the man sitting to my right, Nobuatsu Tatsuko. Nobuatsu has been a loyal worker and confidant for many years. His work ethic and personal drive have played a resounding part in bringing Pride Glory Honor Wrestling to its current standing in the wrestling world. Through years of physical torment and exhaustion it has always been Nobuatsu that could see the light at the end of the tunnel. He knew that someday his hard work would pay off and the stress of helping me run the fastest growing wrestling company in the world would be lifted once a suitable replacement had been found. Many have tried to fill in for Nobuatsu and many have failed.”

Sadaharu rested his hand on Nobuatsu’s shoulder and smiled at him.

Sadaharu: “However due to a recent shift in wrestling a suitable person to fill in for Nobuatsu has been found. This man once lead the wrestling world through times of turmoil and stood strong knowing that his opinion and his actions were correct. This man has shown an understanding of the wrestling world that is second to none and has years of experience to help guide our wayward ship and keep the PGHW style of wrestling going on for many more years. The hiring of this man has been kept secret for months. Some will question my motives, some will question his. Some will ask if I’ve gone insane. I can safely say the answer is no. For years this man bled wrestling in another company. For years he worked his way to the top of the food chain and became an integral part of the way they did things. He didn’t like it when they boys returned home but had to take that knock on the chin. I truly believe he can become part of the PGHW family and be treated as one of our own. Hopefully he’s found a place where he can really get things moving and solidify his stature as part of the wrestling ELITE.”

Jimbo walked over to the door and pushed it open, out walked a man that no one in the room had expected. A man that had worked his way up from the bottom floor of wrestling and truly reached its pinnacle.

Out Walked Kaneie Komine.

It was never gonna happen

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v107/bretter_person/TEW%20Pics/text_separator.jpg

The press was shocked as Kaneie Komine and Sadaharu Jimbo shook hands in a sign that the former boss of Burning Hammer had now become executive consultant of Pride Glory Honor Wrestling. No one in the wrestling world could have ever though that this was actually happening. These two former rivals had nearly killed each other, and their roster during the 2000’s trying to gain control of the number one spot in Japan’s wrestling world. This move may actually shadow the return of Kikkawa and Co to Burning Hammer. It certainly has the media in a frenzy as they hound the two men for photos. Both men graciously oblige, however there’s a notable figure sitting I his chair looking rather angry and unhappy. Nobuatsu Tatsuko looks furious. He hasn’t moved an inch since Komine walked out the door and continues to stare a hole right through the former president of Burning Hammer.

This looks delicious.

You definitely hooked me.

The Komine shock value is interesting, especially scine the "INSPIRE Crisis" was started because he wanted to move away from hard-hitting shoot-style fights...

PGHW isn't really shoot style, I would imagine that PGHW style would be very similar to the Kings Road style used in All Japan during the nineties when the likes of Misawa and Kobashi were at the peak of their powers.

Anyway this does look really good so far. How are you using Komine as your user character ?

The team with everything to prove

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v107/bretter_person/TEW%20Pics/text_separator.jpg

Sadaharu Jimbo and Nobuatsu Tatsuko, two figureheads of Pride Glory Honor Wrestling sat behind the table. Beside them sat the newest acquisition for PGHW, Kaneie Komine. Jimbo and Komine were obviously happy with the situation. The press had actually asked good questions instead of bashing the idea of Komine working for PGHW. The two men happily asked questions about the future of the promotion, the condition of Yoshimi Mushashibo and the challenges that face Glory Crown champion PRIDE Koiso. Sadaharu Jimbo seemed particularly proud of himself. For a brief moment the wrestling world would be talking about PGHW instead of Burning Hammer and that hadn’t happened in over two years.

In a stark contrast to the two men beside him, a steely faced Nobuatsu Tatsuko just glared over at both Jimbo and Komine. It was obvious from his body language that he wasn’t enjoying himself. Annoyingly tapping a pen on the desk whenever either man beside him spoke. Yawning over Kaneie Komine when he spoke and bluntly answering any questions that were directed his way. Clearly he didn’t enjoy having a associate that he had to work with. Luckily for him Sadaharu stood true to his word about leaving the ELITE Series and the heavyweight division in Tatsuko’s control. This gave Tatsuko a measure of control over the entire promotion and its future after his tenure as head booker was up. He could take a large step in securing his position on the roster if Komine ever took over Tatsuko’s role. Tatsuko knew this and was already calculating what steps needed to be taken to ensure his future with PGHW.

Talk soon turned to the upcoming ELITE Series. Sadaharu Jimbo was more than happy to talk about the Series.

ELITE Series Champion and current Glory Crown Champion PRIDE Koiso

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v107/bretter_person/TEW%20Pics/text_separator.jpg

Jimbo: “Clearly this year The ELITE Series is highly anticipated. The top wrestlers in PGHW are all ready to test the mettle and determine which one of them is truly ELITE. However there is one small rule change from previous Series. PRIDE Koiso won the prestigious title of PHW ELITE Series champion last year and has since gone on to become the Glory Crown champion. I feel for PRIDE Koiso’s sake that his ongoing title reign should not be jeopardised by the ELITE Series and therefore he will be unable to defend the ELITE Series championship he won last year. Instead of competing for the ELITE Series I’ve determined with Nobuatsu that the winner of the ELITE Series will have the opportunity to face PRIDE Koiso for the Glory crown championship. I’ll pass to Nobuatsu who will reveal the opening bracket for our field of 8 wrestlers.”

Tatsuko: “ In Round One we’ll have 4 matches, the winner of these matches will move into the quarter finals and so on. The Series will begin straight away with matches taking place over the next month until we determine our finalist in the ELITE SERIES. The matches will take place as follows in no particular order."

Tatsuko: "All participants are congratulated on their impressive year. We made some hard decisions and we feel this is the best field of men to compete for the ELITE Series championship. If you didn’t make the cut then it’s time to lift your game and prove to myself and Sadaharu Jimbo that you can truly be, ELITE.”

Jimbo: “That ends our press conference, Hope this has been informative and given you all a bit of perspective on where PGHW is going and the attention we’re giving the future of wrestlers. Thank you all for coming.”

And with that the press conference was over. I sat back in my chair for a few moments and just took in my surroundings. Tatsuko knelt down beside me and whispered in my ear…

“You may have Jimbo fooled, but I’ve worked too hard for some Burning Hammer punk to ruin it all now. The press conference was nothing compared to the lions that will stare you down when you come face to face with my group of guys. Have fun Komine and good luck, you’re gonna need it.”

The sad truth about that is, he’s right.

I just changed the Avatar in the editor and deleted Komine from the database. Seemed the easy way to do it. Might have to create some backstage incidents to keep in true Komine fashion though.

Glad to hear you're all enjoying the ride so far, still got some backstage sections left to go before moving full swing into the shows. So many possibilities with the backstage sections that I'm just planning to see where things could go.

Predictions on the ELITE Series are welcome as well.

Like a lamb to slaughter

I must’ve stood in front of the PGHW competitors for 5 minutes looking for a reaction from at least one of them and all I got was blank stares. There was a massive amount of uneasy tension in the room and I was racking my brain trying to figure out a way to address these guys. For years I was the enemy. For years I was making all the dirty moves and signing up any hot prospects that were around the wrestling scene. I had tried to sign nearly half of this locker room away from PGHW during my heyday, then it suddenly hit me. I’d figured out a way to get his thing started.

Komine: “I must’ve tried to sign up at least three quarters of you guys. I think you crop of young guys were the only ones that I hadn’t approached and believe me, if I was still at the helm over there you’d be getting an offer soon enough. Despite the stories and rumours you’ve heard about me I’m not that bad. I just wanted to make the best wrestling company I could. At the time Burning Hammer was that company, that’s changed. You guys are now my business. I didn’t try to steal you away to spite Jimbo over there. I tried to sign you away because I thought you guys were some of the best wrestlers this country, maybe even the world has ever seen.”

Most nodded their heads in approval

Komine: “So don’t dislike me for a job I used to hold. You’ll need to put aside and petty hatred that has built up over the years of me running Burning Hammer. Everything I did in the past is exactly that, in the past. My future is here, my future is here forging this company to become the best it can be. I believe in this company and I believe in you guys, hopefully one day you can believe in me to.”

The Road Block

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v107/bretter_person/TEW%20Pics/text_separator.jpg

Nobuatsu Tatsuko looked around the room and slowly rose out of his chair, yawning as he rose in that smug sarcastic manner he has.

Tatsuko: “We’ll never believe in you Komine. You’ll always be the Burning Hammer guy to us, whether we grow to tolerate you is a different story.”

Tatsuko walked straight out of the room, and the entire roster followed him. Jimbo didn't even try to stop them, instead he shrugged one shoulder and followed his crew. Looks like gaining their trust will be harder than I first thought. Although in a weird way, Tatsuko has said that someday I might fit in here. Then it occurred to me. I’ll accept being the Burning Hammer guy, as long as they accept the Burning Hammer guy is the boss. I don’t need their trust and respect at all. I just need them to do what I say.

Revelation Tour Night One

Tuesday, Week 1, March 2010

The locker room didn’t even notice as I walked in, and they didn’t pay any attention as I walked through the loose crowd and went through the door into Sadaharu Jimbo’s Office. There Sadaharu Jimbo and Koryusai Kitoaji were talking about the nights matches. The plan looked like this:

Dark Match

PGHW Historical Japan Title

Bussho Makiguchi© vs Simon Flemmingway

Dark Match

Team Toronto(Alexander Robinson & Lee Bennett vs Chojiro Kitoaji & Kazushige Matsuki

Seiji Jimbo vs Danger Kumasaka

Glory Crown Tag Team Titles

Dread & Art Reed vs Ryoma Muruyama & Masaru Ugaki©

Bryan Holmes vs Tetsunori Yasuda

Eisaku Kunomasu vs William Hayes

ELITE Series Qualifier

Raymond Diaz vs Mito Miwa

Main Event

Nobuatsu Tatsuko, Akinori Kwakami & PRIDE Koiso vs Noriyori Sanda, Shuji Inukai & Kozue Kawashima

Not a bad way to start the new year. Tatsuko will probably try to keep himself strong for the ELITE Series, but I doubt Sadaharu will let him win the whole thing. A young gun like Kozue Kawashima should win the ELITE Series but my money is on Mito Miwa. His dazzling form in the early 00’s was outstanding and I still think he can repeat that run. PRIDE Koiso will be another one to watch out for. He’s a true superstar around here. Being the protégé of Nobuatsu will guarantee his current win-loss ratio will continue. Hopefully he can go as long as his predecessors and have a fantastic career. God knows we need a 5th Pillar around here, he’s clearly next in line.

Dark Match

PGHW Historical Japan Title

Bussho Makiguchi © vs Simon Flemmingway

- I both love and hate Flemmy... but I know I don't want to see him winning PGHW gold, especially not in a dark match. :)

Dark Match

Team Toronto (Alexander Robinson & Lee Bennett) vs Chojiro Kitoaji & Kazushige Matsuki

- Oooh, Caaanadaaa....

Seiji Jimbo vs Danger Kumasaka

- Someone has to win and I pick youth in this one

Glory Crown Tag Team Titles

Dread & Art Reed vs Ryoma Muruyama & Masaru Ugaki ©

- Champs to retain, though I'm not 100% sold on that one.

Bryan Holmes vs Tetsunori Yasuda

- I don't like Yasuda :p

Eisaku Kunomasu vs William Hayes

- He is soon to become your new god, worship him before Big Smack Scott travels around the world to tear his rotator cuff

ELITE Series Qualifier

Raymond Diaz vs Mito Miwa

- If I was running PGHW, Diaz would be my centerpiece. I like Miwa, but Diaz is the future!

Main Event

Nobuatsu Tatsuko, Akinori Kwakami & PRIDE Koiso vs Noriyori Sanda, Shuji Inukai & Kozue Kawashima

I just have a feeling about this one, though I doubt we'll be seeing any Kwakami Painlocks this early on...

PGHW Historical Japan Title

Bussho Makiguchi© vs Simon Flemmingway

I question the wisdom of having the gold defended in a Dark Match, Flemmingway has pretty much no chance of winning.

Dark Match

Team Toronto(Alexander Robinson & Lee Bennett vs Chojiro Kitoaji & Kazushige Matsuki

Got to go with the established bad ass gaijin pairing here.

Seiji Jimbo vs Danger Kumasaka

Jimbo's still considered a young lion, so the fans may not like him going over Kumasaka just yet, even if Kumasaka should really be putting Jimbo over. Not sure why but I think you'll test the waters here and have the owners son pick up the W.

Glory Crown Tag Team Titles

Dread & Art Reed vs Ryoma Muruyama & Masaru Ugaki©

May as well keep the belts on the champions, Dread may have been a legend in the past but his best days are behind him.

Bryan Holmes vs Tetsunori Yasuda

Could go either way, just personal preference.

Eisaku Kunomasu vs William Hayes

One of your top main eventers isn't going to be jobbing to a midcard gaijin.

ELITE Series Qualifier

Raymond Diaz vs Mito Miwa

Miwa is along with Inukai amongst the 'weaker' of the established main eventers, add to the fact that Diaz does have good form already in the Elite Series having won it in 2008, and I don't see why Diaz winning here wouldn't be considered a wise move.

Main Event

Nobuatsu Tatsuko, Akinori Kwakami & PRIDE Koiso vs Noriyori Sanda, Shuji Inukai & Kozue Kawashima

I would give the edge to the team with the current Glory Crown champion

Nice start to the diary, loved the twist with Komine. Now we need class WLW, BHOTWG, and 5SSW diaries. ^_^

Dark Match

PGHW Historical Japan Title

No way the champ loses in a dark match. I'd agree it's a bit strange to even have a dark title match.

Dark Match

Team Toronto(Alexander Robinson & Lee Bennett vs Chojiro Kitoaji & Kazushige Matsuki

I'm a sucker for Team Toronto, don't know why.

Seiji Jimbo vs Danger Kumasaka

I'm pretty traditional in booking. Seems to early for the young lion to win unless he's getting a god push.

Glory Crown Tag Team Titles

Dread & Art Reed vs Ryoma Muruyama & Masaru Ugaki©

Dread was awesome! But in 2010 the champs are better.

Bryan Holmes vs Tetsunori Yasuda

Holmes is just better.

Eisaku Kunomasu vs William Hayes

Strong Style all the way.

ELITE Series Qualifier

Raymond Diaz vs Mito Miwa

Toss up, I just like Miwa more.

Main Event

Nobuatsu Tatsuko, Akinori Kwakami & PRIDE Koiso vs Noriyori Sanda, Shuji Inukai & Kozue Kawashima
