USPW American Wrestling

Live January, Wednesday, Week 1!

Rex is accompanied down to the ring by his manager Shiek Mustafa, and Al by his partner Pete. As you guys know it takes 2 minutes two get these 2 slow behemoths down to the ring, the match only took double that with T-Rex dominating Al finishing the match with a Jurassic Crunch.

After the match T-Rex continued the assault on Al, until Pete enter the ring! But like his hillbilly partner he's quickly thrown to the side, Shiek Mustafa violent smacks Pete in the head with a chair and Rex continues the assault on Al. Mustafa brings the chair in to the ring, and it doesn't look good for Al. The announcers explain that his brains are going to look like roadkill on a country road. T-Rex winds up and... James Justice grabs the chair out of his hand, stopping the assault, Rex quickly rolls out of the ring as James stares at his retreating enemy.

The show comes back from break and Darryl Devine is shown running down into the ring. He tells the referee to ring the bell and apparently he is going up against Pete who is still struggling to get up on the outside. Pete is unable to make the ten count and Darryl Devine wins the match seemingly by default!

After the bell ring, Darryl Devine jumps in the hair pumping both of his fist in celebration. He goes to each and every turnbuckle climbing to the top and pumping to the crowd as they "boo".

The Towers of Powers vs. Savage Fury for the right to face off against USPW tag team champions The People's Team was next. This was a hard hitting match where the offense was shared by both teams, with the end coming with a nasty bulldozer powerbowb delivered from Mick to Tribal Warrior. The Towers of Power will go on to Stars, Stripes, and Slams to face off against the champions.

Up next was the longest match of the night, a twelve minute knock 'em down, drag 'em out war between two of the most talented workers on the roster and also for the right to go Stars, Stripes and Slams against the womans champion Raven Robinson. Once again the offense in this match was shared between Alicia and Belle. Belle, the heel was the aggressors with Alicia always able to fend off the attack only for it to once again become to much. Alicia seemed to get the victory after an Angel Driver but the referee only counted to two! Alicia disagreeing with this fact, got in the face of referee Baby Jamie. Belle who is ever the opportunist took this time to roll up Strong for the victory with a handful of tights that the referee didn't see!

We go to the office of Commissioner Doom next who is pulling a beautiful title belt out of his bag and hanging on a shelf behind his desk. He put the title put and then polishes it a little bit with a tooth brush.

"Is that from Boston?" a familiar voice ask.

"Is that the way you talk to me, puke?" replies Doom.

"Sorry, SIR! Is that your title" asks Giant Redwood, now visible on the screen asking with more respect, knowing his place.

"Yes, yes it is from Boston" says Doom, as the camera moves in to show the belt with the name plate, Corporal Doom on it. "I am the last person to ever hold that title, do you know the history behind that title? Do you have any idea the legend that you are standing in front of?"

"Sir, yes, sir" Is Redwoods reply, straightening up.

"But I didn't bring you in here to talk about myself, I brought you here to give you a shot at your own gold, tonight! How would you like to go up against Enygma... tonight?"

"I'd love to." Redwood says

"What?"

"I'd love to.. SIR".

"That's better! Now get outta my office." Are the final words spoken by Doom as he sits down in his chair and watches Redwood walk out of his office. I need to teach that boy a lesson Doom says out loud to himself...

Captain USA comes out to pop the crowd next and his opponent for the night is the one and only Jumboooooooo Jacccccccccksonnnnnnnnn, Jackson. I know you guys are eagerly awaiting my beautiful writing skills to tell you who exactly won this match but you should know. I mean what has been the been word of the night thus far? Squash! Why would that change here as Jackson dominates for the victory.

We cut to the back where Nicky Champion is ready to give a promo for his match tonight. Champion is looking intensely into the camera, standing straight across as he begins to speak:

Peter Valentine tonight I get my shot to once again win gold, to once again prove to the world that I am who I say I am. Peter you didn't even win that title, you said so yourself that you bought that title for 2 dollars American on a little trip to Indonesia, well tonight I show you what it takes to be a Champion!

Valentine and Champion put on a match for the ages! At least the match was as good as you thought it would be when you heard I was putting it on. Yeah I don't expect to get my job for long but I plan on having fun while I can. Champion picks up the surprise victory!! Who saw a title change on the first show? I hope no one because Valentine purposely gathered his title and walked his old ass to the back, after getting it handed to him by the younger, quicker, better looking man. He loses the match but keeps the title he bought from a street peasant who bought the title from Java in Indonesia so you tell me did he really lose? Champion is not happy to win this way by the way he's acting as the ref makes his ten count.

Two of the biggest names in wrestling history go head to head in the next bout as Tyson Baine takes on Chris Caulfield.. on free TV!! This match was a good one, at least it seemed like it was going to be one BUT... Bruce The Giants music hit and he came taking Giant strides down the aisle to the ring. As he stepped over the top rope he sent a glance over to Tyson who didn't seem intimidated by big Bruce. Nonetheless he gave the big man a nod and exited the ring as Caulfield ran at the big man and hit a big shoulder block that barely made Giant flinch. Chris tried once more and again it was the same result, the third time should of been the charm but Bruce The Giant caught Chris while he was in motion by the throat, lifting him high into the sky and then dropping him down with a choke slam!

The big tag team match that everyone is waiting for is up next with Anger and Andre Jones taking on the super team of James Justice and The Force. I know what you guys are thinking... how can this match end? We've already had a no contest, a count out and the old tights held for leverage trick. What's left? Submission? As you can imagine there is one man in this match that doesn't fit and that is Anger but not surprisingly he is the one that's best suited and most comfortable in tag team action. He does pretty well against the big boys, holding his own but in the end that's not enough for the Force as the name formerly known as Jim picks up the victory but only after botched interference by T-Rex. After the match The Force and Caulfield quickly book it out of the arena as the three bad guys look around at each other angrily.

The World Title match was next as the mysterious Enygma took on the unmysterious Giant Redwood. Redwood threw his weight around in this match, dominating the early portions with a series of slams, avalanches and but bumps. Enygma was able to slowly get a little bit of offense in but that wasn't enough!! What? Can you believe that? It was enough as Redwood once again gained the upper hand but the match was to go 5 minutes and soon the tired, wore down redwood couldn't muster enough to defeat the champion as Enygma walks away just he walked with the Gold on his shoulder.

News and Notes:

- USPW has signed an established star formerly of the big 2, the man will be debuting soon and will go by an altar ego and not use the name that he used before, stay tuned! (Bonus points to anyone who can guess the guy/ego)

- A big time manager, The Guru has signed for USPW, we tried to keep this a secret but wrestling websites all across the USA have reported and we can confirm it. Word is The Guru is already scouting the roster..

- After being linked to two tag teams, USPW has only signed one, the heel duo will debut soon and look to make a big impact in the near future!

- USPW got a 0.72 rating on Sports America for the most recent edition of USPW American Wrestling.

- USPW is now running house shows every Monday, Friday and Satuday so if you're lucky enough to get to a show, I'd recommend it!

Final 51: Hurt the promotion popularity

Very impressed that Redwood could carry Enygma to a 54 =)

Captain USA's match went to long, I have to be smarter when I book him and Shane Snear and Jummmboooooo Jackkkkksoooooooon have poor chemistry, and Sam Strong would like me to look into that.

Giant Redwood will be getting a new look/gimmick/name in the coming weeks. I don't like the idea of having 2 heel's on the roster with the name Giant in them. With Bruce being the most established star I'm going to continue to allow him to use.

I have hired The Guru as well as a singles star and a tag team that I don't want to give away just yet. I knew The Guru would be good for backstage but I am extremely happy that the tag team are good as well.

The Guru will be pushed more as the top manager in the company and may lead to Mustafa taking a more backstage role, but I'm not completely sure yet, we'll see what happens.
