Bigpapa42
With apologies for my role in taking the previous SWF thread off the tracks, we have Verion 2.0! For any discussion regarding the Supreme Wrestling Federation...
The Shape
Enjoyed a lot of what I read in the last thread, although I hired Lopez then found Marlowe has awesome chemistry with Nevada Nuclear, so Lopez might be released right away unless I think of something for him Also I'm glad I got the "no signings from cult or above" goal...to me, it makes a lot of sense and adds to the challenge of SWF, whereas getting it in TCW is a real pain. And my Big Smack Scott/Lobster Warrior feud is my favourite thing I've done in a while, whereby BSS will keep being meant to face him at PPVs but switching out at the last minute for some kind of monster, until an eventual point where the replacement will turn face and throw him into the ring and Lobby finally gets his match after months of despair

He's clearly Jungle King's long lost brother who spends sevearl months stalking him while everyone wonders about his intentions... Seriously, so much potential there and the storyline almost writes itself...

One PPV you should have Lobbie get so upset that he injures Scott in the back, from months of rage and frustration.

Seriously, so much potential there and the storyline almost writes itself... Haha, as I read The Shape's post I was just about to respond with almost the exact same thing! I had him as a scorned tag partner. Still, great minds think alike Has anyone managed to keep hold of Steve Frehley 'legitimately'? I had to use the editor to knock my risque down to medium for him to resign. I didn't run a risque product in the first place so I didn't mind doing it, just the boss-man won't let you touch the product. I did enjoy reading the mk1 version of this thread so I hope this one continues.
The Shape
Sound like a good feud who do you think you'll turn face Not really sure yet, I still like the idea of Train as a face although I already had him be the first replacement, that could even help it though... And BP, that's a nifty idea, think I might have Lopez lurk in the shadows for a few months...then emerge wearing nothing but a fig leaf, of course. On another note, I've had the incident before but the culprit this time is amazing. Negative factor to backstage morale is the now notorious Richard Eisen fart incident. Quite why a booker is able to discipline his owner for natural bodily functions I don't know, but I took no action, he praised me for not overreacting, and it's still negative on his morale how I handled it. Awesome.

And its a story you could slow burn for a long time before you really do much with hit, giving both guys a chance to gain some overness. Do it as a doppelganger approach, or a spurned partner, or a long lost brother... Like I said, so many options... In a watcher game I did, Frehley left the SWF when his contract was up and I couldn't figure why. That makes perfect sense!

Awesome. I think Train could work as a face with the "spurned legend" approach. Make him sad about it instead of angry and he would generate some sympathy. But it always leaves the possibility of a sudden heel turn open...
The Shape
Yeah, even him just beating up bad guys would be enough, like Kane is now. No actual character change. Roberts was another guy I had in mind, but he's invaluable as a heel at the moment, just put on an A rated match with Bruce lol. I brought in Remo to Eisen's side, and Roberts on the last show renewed his affiliation..considering adding a guy from development to make a stable. Based on Eric's new nickname, they could be The Born Supremacists <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />
kingtutt
<p>So in the last SWF thread jhd1 called me crazy for sending Marat down to development for entertainment skills. I just wanted to explain myself...I'm not crazy!!! lol</p><p> </p><p> I really have no plans for Marat to be cutting interviews...ever...I can still remember when Yokozuna miraculously learned english and started cutting promos....no thank-you.</p><p> </p><p> I sent him down just to give me some time to come up with an idea for a feud for him and so that he wouldn't get pissey for being left off the shows. Entertainment skills just happened to be the first skill I tried sending him down for that he didn't block with creative control.</p><p> </p><p> As for the rest of my game, I'm having even more troubles with my NA title and Lobster Warrior. After screwing up road angent notes and having him beat Brandon James for it, I devised a way to take it off of him without him getting angry...a 4-way match in which Joe Sexy would beat Marc Dubois. Well, Lobby didn't like that, but I needed it to happen, so I went ahead anyway...good thing I set the match to be for the NA belt! Oh, wait....apparently I didn't. So I just said screw it and vacated the belt and gave it to Sexy. ugh!</p><p> </p><p> Sexy's about to move to ME status though, so I'm gonna have him lose it to BSS who will then fued with Robbie Retro. I hope that goes better than this mess has...</p>

Remo their main eventer, Enforcer Roberts their Upper Midcard challenger for the NA title and they had a tag team. I believe it was the Lords of War. I would think the natural progression from this or at least where I'm going with it is to have Eric Start the New Supremacists. He is the main eventer so you don't need anyone in that spot but it could be somethign for Remo to do if you're at a loss with him. I've teamed Angry Gilmore and Squeeky McClean up as The Moral Majority and they will be the tag team of the group and then Brandon James will be the NA champ, with Emma at his side that's a pretty nice little group. Have them with a stranglehold on the titles and you;ve got yourself a ball game.</p>
The Shape
Ah, but in the new c-verse canon did that ever happen? <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> Mr. Eisen now is said to lurk in the shadows and people barely recognise his face, hmm. Still, it works. And Gilmore/Squeeky and supremacy is a fairly natural fit, although I am pretty much "jericho-ing" gilmore right now. Gregory Black being r-truth. It makes sense in that regard. But what makes it "crazy" or at least questionable is what you're giving up. Let's say you put him in development for 3 months after ending his feud with Faith. That spell in development is likely to increase his stats faster than keeping him on the roster... But you miss out on the chance to build up his overness - which in the SWF, is going to be his greatest asset. With Menace-based angles and some short squashes matches of lower-card talent, I bet you can get him up to A* overness very quickly. You can also use that time to test chemistry with opponents to find ways to protect him in the ring in matches that really matter, like PPV matches and feuds. I don't think a worker like Kholov needs to be in feuds to be valuable. Just have him around, using what he can offer, and building his overness is plenty of use. But once you get his overness up, he is even more valuable. </p><p> </p><p> You could also do something like finding him a talented tag team partner - Enforcer Roberts is a good candidate - and have them work the B show or dark matches together, to help develop him that way. </p><p> </p><p> That's why I think you might be better served keeping him on the main roster.</p>
Master Gilmore
Is this "Supremacist" stable canon at all? I've never heard about it. Was it in TEW 2004? I figured Remo would've been an upper midcarder at that point.

I did try to send him down to work on his performance stats, as I figured that's where he would benefit most (or at least where I would benefit most) but he blocked it with his creative control. I did notice that it is quite easy to boost his overness through menace angles. I think I'm going to go ahead and call Marat back up before the next show.... Irish Wolf
Only the latest version of the game is canon. No, not really. Any changes are the real truth as in some of the apparent age changes. But the whole history of all the games is Canon. Plus Richard's bio says "He is possibly the most powerful person in wrestling today, but if it wasn't for the handful of on-screen appearances he has made during storylines over the past decade hardly any fans would even recognise him, give his preference 'for operating 'in the shadows'." The Supremacists faction was part of a storyline so one could infer that it happened, seeing as there hasn't been any contradictory evidence to it. It syas he rarely appears on screen, not he never appears on screen.

BrokenCycle
Ugh. This canon debate is really horrible. If this game was just a standalone thing, there would not be references to other data in nearly every worker's profile that has changed promotions or has had significant events happen to them. I can't think of any time where Adam has actually said "Yeah that didn't happen," except changing ages, which was probably for game balancing. ampulator
Let's be honest here. If it weren't for a certain person (I forget who) revealing that Vince McMahon was the owner of the WWF, and Montreal Screwjob, Vince would have been in relative obscurity. kingtutt
Anyone have any tips for handling Big Smack Scott? From how to go about disciplining him so as not to have him hate me (and not to tank the backstage atmosphere) to how to book him? So far I've just fined him. I don't want to fire or suspend him, and I figured he'd get pissed at me no matter what, so I figured I may as well make some money off the deal. lol Any tips would be great. I seem to be doing alright with him, but a couple backstage incidents in a short period of time got me wondering if I could be doing something better.
