YoungNoble
Gaz This was my favorite mod last year and I am thrilled it has been released. I am going to start a game right away... I noticed that the Attitude ends in Jan of 3000? Most would say that the Attitude era ended in 2001 or 2002... This isnt a complaint, as it is about 13 years away in the mod anyway... Just curious why you didn't set an end point for the era... Any chance of time-specific storylines? It was one my main draws to DOTT and think it would be great to have in this mod. You could include The MegaPowers Explode, Flair vs Steamboat, leading to Funk vs Flair, Warrior vs Hogan, The Manager switch of Demolition and Powers of Pain, The AWA Great American Turkey Hunt!!!!!!!, etc.... =Some changes I made= -In the narratives section, "Psycho Sid" is spelled wrong -Kimberly Page's name is spelled wrong -If Harry Smith and Nattie Neidhart are included as future workers, I think TJ Wilson should be also -Moolah's Finishing School for Girls should be set for females only -All Japan Dojo's parent should be AJPW -Since All Japan Women's isn't included, I guess their dojo should be a child of AJPW -CMLL Lucha Libre Camp for Waywards should be a child of CMLL -Mildred Burke's Wrestling School should be set for females only -New Japan dojo should be a child of NJPW -Dory Funk Jr or Terry Funk should be the head trainer of the Double Cross Ranch -The Gagne Barn of Wrasslin' Training should be a child of AWA with Verne Gagne as the head trainer - I added Larry Sharpe's Monster Factory as a dojo with 60 prestige, founded in 1983, located in Tri State with Raven, Chris Candido, Tony Atlas, Mike Jones, and Bam Bam Bigelow as alumni. According to Wikipedia; Buddy Rogers helped found it, so I made him head trainer, although I do not know if he was still involved in 1989 -I changed Scott Levy's default heel gimmick to Cult Leader and his default face gimmick to extremist; it was set to Starship Coyote?? -I also changed the name of Jim Crockett Promotions to WCW because this mod starts after the sale to Turner, and I believe the switch had been made. CWF and Georgia had closed by this point, so I don't see much sense in using the NWA name, but I guess it is up to personal preference.
gazwefc83
Whoa thanks for all that im getting it fixed now, on the attitude era is was only because i felt all the settings still applied, if there are any setting you think need changing afta 2001 let me know

YoungNoble
I could add the storylines but crnt remember each step of them, u can pm me on this if u want, maybe we can come up with some I am not too familiar with exactly how the storylines went down step-by-step, I just remember the overall themes. I didn't see that you responded, so I just kept editing my original post... I added a few more changes.... Great mod so far!
ACCBiggz
-In the narratives section, "Psycho Sid" is spelled wrong How was it spelled? Proper spelling is: Sycho Sid.
YoungNoble
How was it spelled? Proper spelling is: Sycho Sid. The narrative is not referencing the gimmick of Sycho Sid, but a time when Sid went "Psycho." It was spelled "Pshyscho," if I remember correctly. YoungNoble
On the WCW name change issue. JCP was sold to Turner in 1988 and the name was changed to WCW almost immediately. I kept the titles labeled as NWA. WCW should have a 2 hour TV show titled "World Championship Wrestling" airing on Saturday evening on TBS. It was the forerunner of "Saturday Night." It was their main show at the time. I renamed NWA WorldWide to WCW Worldwide. I scheduled it for Sundays early evening. WCW had a couple other TV shows at the time, but I don't see any reason to add those; Main Event and Power Hour. I guess you could add them as B shows if you wanted to. According to wikipedia, WCW Worldwide did not start airing on ITV until 1991, so I removed that TV show slot. "World Championship Wrestling" and "Worldwide" should both be held on Fridays. I changed the revenue split and production costs to 70% for both shows. -WWF Wrestling Challenge should air on Sundays on USA, not Tuesdays -John Nord's alter ego should be The Berzerker, not The Bersercker
gazwefc83
WcW didnt change its name until 1991, im going to sort out the tv shows, i deleted them last year because i prefered playing with 1 and never added them back in, on the itv front i added it in because time warner wont allow you to afterwards Sycho is the American spelling, im from England were its spelt 'pyscho'
YoungNoble
Sycho is the American spelling, im from England were its spelt 'pyscho' Sycho isn't the American spelling. That is how WWF spelled it when Sid was there. The correct spelling is psycho. It was spelled pshycho, i believe, in the narratives -I added a chemistry note with Jerry Lynn and Sean Waltman, as they were tearing up the indies at the time
gazwefc83
my bad on the spelling sorry haha iv sorted the TV shows now, Prime Wrestling & WCW are 'A' shows and Wrestling Challenge & World Wide are 'B' Shows
YoungNoble
Gino Hernandez should be deceased. He died in 1986.
jhd1
Must say Gaz, I'm enjoying playing this one well done. I agree that a couple more storylines might help but if they are too hard to find don't worry about it. Another possible solution would be a recap in the first post i.e. explaining what went on in the WWF in 1989 and what happens in real life over the next couple of months (up to the Rumble for example). Just helps put things in context. Oh, and it is hard getting everyone on a one hour show. I've got main eventers feeling 'irritated' left, right and centre! Yes, it's harder but I thought we were trying to replicate the conditions from 1989? The WWE really didn't have a true "A" show back in 1989. I wouldn't consider Prime Time Wrestling as such since it was a collection of taped matches.
gazwefc83
OK iv decided to change NWA/JCP/WCW back to the NWA as it was originally iv been looking through all the old NWA/JCP/WCW events from 1989 and they all have the NWA logo and are reffered to as NWA

Undertaker666
You've got Robert Gibson and Ricky Morton in as "The Rock 'n Roll Express" team three times (all spelled slightly differently). Keep up the good work.

kckid4u
I'm trying to use this database mod, and when I go into the editor, it lists all the workers correctly by name and other info, but the picture is blank. So I click on it thinking maybe I need to assign it manualy, but the pictures it gives me to chose from are the default pictures that came with the game. (Cornv) Anyone know what I'm doing wrong? I have it setup just like another mod I downloaded, which worked fine, but for some reason I can't get these pictures to work with this database. gazwefc83
In the editor click, database options, the it will ask you which pic folder you want to use, select which ever one you named the 89, hit save, sometimes you have to come right out of the editor before it works
gazwefc83
On another note iv now fixed anything mentioned yesterday, sorted out tag teams after advice from derek b and added 2 storylines so far they are: the megapowers explode and the feud between honky tonk man and randy savage about who the greatest ic champ is if there are any storylines you want adding either post a step step sequence of events or find a youtube video that shows the build up and ill get it done
