Yes, that's the main objective here is to put WWF out of business:D. Hopefully I can be slightly more efficient than Bischoff was at certain points. forlan
Pillman - Just think it would make more sense at this point for him to go over American Males - Not a big fan of the champs and feel it would make an instant impact to have a title change on the show No contest of some sort in the main so both retain the gold respectively. The camera moves about the crowd of screaming fans and pans down to the announcers table which is set by the stage. There we see the broadcast team assembled for Nitro -- Eric Bischoff and Bobby Heenan. http://i172.photobucket.com/albums/w15/TheWho87EWR/Wrestlers/KyKy/E%20Images/Eric_Bischoff7.jpghttp://i232.photobucket.com/albums/ee97/Gsquared_2007/SHW/Bobby_Heenan.jpg Bischoff: Welcome ladies and gentlemen to the land where the big boys play! Welcome to WCW Monday Nitro LIVE on TNT. Bobby, I'm so excited for what we have in store for this show; a lot of great matches and great entertainment. There's a lot of expectations for WCW now. Heenan: Yes, sir, Mr. Bischoff. Speaking of expectations, I think we can all expect to expect the unexpected. Wouldn't you say, Eric? Bischoff: Well, Brain, I'm not sure I followed that, but I'll take your word for it. We have a lot of great action for you here tonight, including the opening match of a tournament formed for the new WCW Cruiserweight title. This title will represent a new division here in WCW -- a division of high flying, technical master-minds. Also, the tag team titles are on the line tonight as the champions, Bunkhouse Buck and Dick Slater, are set to defend against the young, up-and-coming tag team of the American Males. And of course, don't forget about the main event: a champion versus champion match featuring the World Heavyweight Champion Hulk Hogan against the United States Champion Sting! Heenan: Ohhhh boy, Eric, I can't wait for this. How did I land such a great job? Bischoff: Because I hired you, Brain. And don't you forget that! Heenan: It was because of my looks, wasn't it? That's why you hired me. Let me tell you, Bischoff, I'm a heart breaker. Bischoff: Whatever you say, Brain. Wait... I just got word that Gene Okerlund is backstage... he's with Hogan and Sting! Take us there, crew. http://i172.photobucket.com/albums/w15/TheWho87EWR/Wrestlers/KyKy/H%20Images/Hulk_Hogan17.jpghttp://i490.photobucket.com/albums/rr269/martintew/GeneOkerlund.jpghttp://i172.photobucket.com/albums/w15/TheWho87EWR/Wrestlers/KyKy/S%20Images/Sting73.jpg Okerlund: Thanks, Eric. I'm here with the World Champion Hulk Hogan and the United States Champion, Sting. Gentleman, would either of you like to enlighten us on your match tonight? Hogan: Well, you know somethin' Mean Gene? We're gonna set the bar high here on Nitro tonight, brother. This man, Sting, and myself are gonna give it everything we've got tonight! Win, lose, or draw, tonight you're gonna see somethin' special, Mean Gene. Sting: WOOOO! The Hulkster hit the nail right on the head, Gene. We plan on going all out, tonight, and one of us is going to walk out as a dual champion. We're going to love it, WCW is going to love it, but most of all, Gene, the fans are going to love it! Okerlund: There you go, boys. It looks like this match is going to be epic! The cameras cut back to the broadcast team. Bischoff: I can't wait for that match, but first, we have a first round match of the Cruiserweight Championship tournament. Flyin' Brian will take on Jushin Liger, right now! http://i67.photobucket.com/albums/h291/TweekIt/WCW/Brian_Pillman5.jpg vs. http://i172.photobucket.com/albums/w15/TheWho87EWR/Wrestlers/KyKy/J%20Images/Jushin_Liger.jpg ..... Jushin Liger attempts to place Brian Pillman on the turnbuckle, but it's blocked by Pillman. Instead, Liger then goes for a DDT, but it's countered with an attempted backdrop, which is then countered again by a sunset flip from Liger. Liger goes for the pin, 1...2...kickout. Liger catches Pillman in a dragon suplex. 1...2...kickout. Pillman finally regained control by tossing Liger out of the ring. Pillman then connects with a flip attack usually used by Liger. He tosses Liger back in the ring, and as Liger gets to his feet, Pillman nails him with the Air-Pillman. 1...2...3! Winner: Flyin' Brian Pillman The camera cuts backstage, where Randy Savage is cutting a promo. http://i172.photobucket.com/albums/w15/TheWho87EWR/Wrestlers/Rename/RandySavage2.jpg Savage: OOOHHH YEEEAA! WCW Monday Nitro! Let me tell you, the Macho Man is here and he is ready to take this thing by storm! You can put the Macho Man up against anyone, ooh yeaaa. The Hulkster, the Stinger, Flair, Arn Anderson, it doesn't matter, oooh yeeaa, cause the Macho Man is ready! Just then, from behind, the Dungeon of Doom came in and attacked Savage, beating him relentlessly to the ground. The group was led by The Giant, who looked particularly angry. http://i172.photobucket.com/albums/w15/TheWho87EWR/Wrestlers/KyKy/B%20Images/Big_Show12.jpg The Giant: AAAHHHH!! You think you're the one, Macho Man, who is gonna be hard to stop in WCW? Think again! I am going to take WCW by storm. The Giant stares at the beaten Savage, then looks back into the camera and begins breathing heavily while the rest of the Dungeon of Doom are standing behind him, encouraging him. The cameras then go back to the broadcast booth. Bischoff: What was that about, Brain? Heenan: I don't know, Bischoff, but that is one bad man. His hideousness is just so... Bischoff: Hideous? Heenan: Well, I was going to say ugly, but that works too. Bischoff: We've got to take a break, but when we come back, the tag team titles are on the line! The show comes back on and highlights are shown of what took place just before break with The Giant and the Dungeon of Doom attacking Randy Savage. We then go back to the ring as the tag team match begins. http://i172.photobucket.com/albums/w15/TheWho87EWR/Titles/EOAE/WCW_World_Tag_Team4.jpg http://i172.photobucket.com/albums/w15/TheWho87EWR/Wrestlers/KyKy/B%20Images/Buff_Bagwell7.jpghttp://i224.photobucket.com/albums/dd233/StevenRichardsRules/Scotty_Riggs.jpg vs. http://i172.photobucket.com/albums/w15/TheWho87EWR/Wrestlers/KyKy/B%20Images/Bunkhouse_Buck.jpghttp://i172.photobucket.com/albums/w15/TheWho87EWR/Wrestlers/KyKy/D%20Images/Dick_Slater2.jpg ... Dick Slater catches Riggs with an inside cradle, but a kickout. Slater then unsuccessfully attempts a Boston crab. Riggs somehow finds the strength to tag in Bagwell who immediately goes for Slater, taking him down with a clothesline. He then connects with a German suplex. Pin attempt; 1...2...kickout. Col. Rob Parker, the manager of Bunkhouse and Slater, distracts Bagwell. Slater then caught Bagwell with an abdominal stretch. Bagwell gets out of it as Slater tags in Bunhouse Buck. Buck hits Bagwell with a shoulderblock, then attempts to whip him into the turnbuckle, but Bagwell reverses it. He charges into Buck with a shoulder in the turnbuckle. Buck, staggering, finds himself in the middle of the ring when Bagwell attempts the Victory roll. 1...2...3!!!! The American Males have won the WCW World Tag Team Championship! Winners and NEW WCW World Tag Team Champions: The American Males Bischoff: Can you believe that, Brain? New tag team champions on the first show of Nitro? Heenan: Yes, I can believe it. I just saw it. After another commercial break from a typical 1995 commercial of happy music and upbeat personalities, we return to hear the familiar music of Ric Flair. He and Arn Anderson make their way to the ring. http://i172.photobucket.com/albums/w15/TheWho87EWR/Wrestlers/Rename/RicFlair3.jpghttp://i172.photobucket.com/albums/w15/TheWho87EWR/Wrestlers/KyKy/A%20Images/Arn_Anderson.jpg Flair: WOOOO! Monday Nitro, baby! WOOO! I love it. But let's get right down to business. The Enforcer and I are here to say that we're going to begin something great. Anderson: Easy, there, Ric. Do you really mean to say 'begin'? Flair: Oh, right. Of course. I did not mean to say begin. In fact, I meant to say... revive! Anderson: Well, Ric, Nature Boy, what on earth can you be reviving? Flair: It's not what I'm reviving, Arn, it's what we're reviving. Tonight, the recruiting began for the reformation of the Four Horsemen! That's right, we're looking out for the best of the best. We're making our comeback! The crowd cheers loudly and begin chanting "Horsemen! Horsemen!" Then, the crowd killer... Flair: Because, you know, Arn, I'm sick of seeing patheticness in WCW. There are pathetic wrestlers here, being watch by pathetic fans! It's time for greatness to prevail. The Four Horsemen will be back, baby! WOOOOO!!! Anderson: If you want to be a part of greatness, you better start proving yourself around here! The fans boo heavily at the remarks made about them from Flair and the camera takes us to the broadcast team. Bischoff: Wow! What else can there be? New tag team champions, Savage getting attacked, the revival of the Four Horsemen, I mean, what else? Heenan: Pigs flying, Eric. Pigs flying. That, and the main event! We still have a champion versus champion match tonight! Fans are chanting Hogan's name and Sting's name in unison. The two shake hands before the match. ... Hogan takes Sting down with an elbowsmash. Next comes a roundhouse right-handed punch, followed by a chop. Sting is on the ground and Hogan goes for the Leg Drop, but Sting rolls away. Sting whips Hogan to the turnbuckle and connects with a Stinger Splash. Hogan looks out of it, but begins to get his second wind. Just then, the camera spots on Lex Luger in the crowd. Luger, who had just wrestled for WWF the night before, was in the building. Neither men notice him as they continue to duke it out in the ring. Luger climbs over the railing, and steps into the ring. The referee calls for the bell and the match ends. The crowd begins to boo loudly and things get thrown into the ring. Luger then points directly to Hogan's World Title belt and the two get nose to nose. No Contest Bischoff: I can't believe it! What's he doing here? How did he get all the way to the ring! Someone should have stopped him. Heenan: Would you try to stop that man? I think he wants a shot at Hogan! Bischoff: He doesn't even work for us. He works for the other guys, well, at least he did last night. He shouldn't even be here right now! Heenan: Well, he is, and he looks determined! The camera fades as Hogan and Luger are nose to nose arguing.

Crow
Thanks for all the predictions for the last show guys! I hope they keep coming and I hope I can surprise some of you. Although it looks like forlan had my number for the first Nitro. As I'm sure most of you know, it's difficult to start a diary without developing your own story, so the first few shows may not be telling as much of a story as I'd like to eventually have. That, and as of now, Nitro is only an hour long. At some point I will make it 2 hours in length, but to keep it realistic, that won't be changed for some time. Crow
WCW Monday Nitro, Week 2, September 1995 <embed src=" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" allowscriptaccess="always" height="344" width="425"> WCW Monday Nitro LIVE on TNT Live in Miami, Florida in front of 7,331 fans The cameras pan the capacity crowd in Miami, Florida, as screaming fans hold pro-WCW signs with one even saying "WCW Monday Nitro = Death of WWF". Needless to say, the camera spots that sign and zooms in on the enthused fans. Finally, the camera swivels down to the broadcast team of Eric Bischoff and Bobby "The Brain" Heenan. http://i172.photobucket.com/albums/w15/TheWho87EWR/Wrestlers/KyKy/E%20Images/Eric_Bischoff7.jpg http://i232.photobucket.com/albums/ee97/Gsquared_2007/SHW/Bobby_Heenan.jpg Bischoff: Welcome to WCW Monday Nitro LIVE on TNT! This is where the big boys play! If you're planning on turning over to the other guys -- don't. What you'll see is a yawnfest consisting of Bertha Faye...who?....defeating Aja Kong. 1-2-3 Kid and Duke Droese ending in a no contest - yay. Yokozuna beating Diesel. Heenan: Yokozuna still wrestles? Bischoff: And the main event of Bam Bam Bigelow beating the ever-popular Goldust. Whoop-di-do. And now, welcome to where the action is! Heenan: Yes, sir, baby! This is the only place to be on a Monday night! Bischoff: So much happened last week. We had new tag team champions, a beatdown on Randy Savage. Heenan: Some might say a... Savage beatdown. Bischoff: And also, Lex Luger arrived in WCW and we're still not sure what his status is with the company but I'm sure answers to that question will come soo-- I am a real American... Bischoff: Speaking of which, here comes the WCW World Heavyweight Champion himself! The Hulkster, Hulk Hogan! http://i172.photobucket.com/albums/w15/TheWho87EWR/Wrestlers/KyKy/H%20Images/Hulk_Hogan17.jpg Hogan made his way to the ring after slapping fives and shaking hands with fans on his way. He enters the ring, doesn't the Hulkster routine, and grabs a microphone. Hogan: We need to set the record straight here, brother. I deserve to know, Sting deserves to know, and these fans deserve to know exactly what Luger was doing here last week? So Lex Luger, if you're back there, or in the crowd, or wherever you are, brother, get out here right now and let's settle this like men. Long pause Hogan: Come on, brother, we don't have all day man. Luger get your butt out here and explain yourself! Long pause Hogan: That's it, dude, if you're not coming out to set this straight, then I'm gonna have to find you! You better watch your back, Luger. Hogan storms out of the ring like a man on a mission, determined to find Lex Luger. Booker T: When are we gonna get us a real challenge instead of these suckas layin' in the middle of this ring? Harlem Heat is the best tag team around and we're hungry but they keep feedin' us pebbles. We want some boulders to knock down. In fact, you know what Stevie, I'm gonna do it right now.. I'm gonna lay out a challenge to the new Tag Team champions. The American Females (crowd boos)....We want our belts back. You know, we happy and all that you're shinin' them up real nice for us, but it's about time you give 'em back...or better yet, we take 'em back! The crowd boos heavily as Booker T and Stevie Ray stand in the middle of the ring. Rating: C- *** COMMERCIAL BREAK *** As we come back, a replay of the events that just took place is shown. Bischoff: Wow, Bobby, can you believe that? If it hadn't been for the American Males, the Nasty Boys might be seriously injured right now! Heenan: Well, I'm glad you're not overreacting, Eric. Hey, is that Hogan? Hulk Hogan comes out of the entrance and walks towards the announcers table. He grabs a headset. Bischoff: Hulkster, to what do we owe this honor? Hogan: Well, you know somethin' Bischoff, I've searched and searched for Luger and I can't find him anywhere. I don't know if he's workin' for us or what he's doin, but I figured he came from the stands last time, so he might come from the stands this time. I'm gonna wait it out here, brothers. Heenan: This is unbelievable! What's next? Bischoff: The main event, that's what! You chose a great time to come out here, Hogan, cause the Macho Man is about to take on the monster, Meng! Hogan: Well, brothers, I saw what they did to him last week, and if I know Macho, he'll get his revenge tonight, dudes. http://i172.photobucket.com/albums/w15/TheWho87EWR/Wrestlers/Rename/RandySavage2.jpg vs. http://i867.photobucket.com/albums/ab239/Animal_GWF/Meng.jpg ... The pin: 1....2...kickout! Meng then applies a long lasted sleeper hold.....Savage almost taps....the referee lifts his arm up...once....twice....then with a rage of fury, Savage manages to find an inner strength as he stands up, bring Meng with him. He spins Meng around, and connects with a suplex. Savage moves towards the turnbuckle and begins to climb it. As this happens, members of the Dungeon of Doom, including The Giant, make their way to the ring. Savage, from the top turnbuckle, fights off each one of the members and then jumps high into the air. Crow
Never done picks before but hey.... Quick Picks WCW United States Championship: Sting© vs. Shark Sting gets the duke, possibly by DQ with a run in. The Nasty Boys vs. Harlem Heat I'd go for the Heat but I hate Stevie Ray... Randy Savage vs. Meng OOOOOHHHH YEAAAAHHHH BABY! I appreciate you picking! I'm glad to be your first. (Did that sound bad?) What do you hate about Stevie Ray? I've always liked Booker T, but never really had much of an opinion about Stevie. The WCW Hotline ad was cool indeed WCW United States Championship: Sting© vs. Shark I'm a fan of John Tenta, maybe because I like big men with little talent (my avatar) But Sting should win. The Nasty Boys vs. Harlem Heat The Nasty Boys are horrible. Randy Savage vs. Meng Meng is a freaking monster, But Savage will win. Shark is a talented big man, as is Meng. I also have respect for talented large wrestlers, and they will definitely have a place in my WCW. However, sadly, they both lost on Nitro....but you did pick them all right! Nice work! I've always thought they were a little overlooked. I didn't like Bagwell so much in the nWo days, however. And, you've got to admit, they're better champions than Bunkhouse Buck and Dick Slater. I just had to get the belts off of them. And thanks for following. It is much appreciated.
