Eisen-verse
I know that this addition gives you the ability to draw out a match so that a big epic affair doesn't get burnt out so early. However, what about a 14 minute match? The workers within the match are quite talented & wouldn't necissarily need the "slower pace" probably.. However, I like the sound of having the match build toward a huge ending. So, would this be considered okay from an in-game perspective or is the "Slow Build" addition really only for those matches that stretch into the 20-30 minute range? Thank you! FlameSnoopy
I believe the Dirt Sheet complains if you use slow build and the match is shorter than 20 minutes.
jesterx7769
Yeah I'm pretty sure it has to be at least 20 minutes or it says how it didnt have enough time to build.

And yeah, its not going to add to the match if its too short.
lazorbeak
Would using a note that lowers match quality if used incorrectly like this make a substantial enough difference to allow for match penalties to not apply if you stopped using them after the first three matches? For example, if Benoit and Booker wrestled three times with a "slow build" note in TV matches of around 15 minutes, could you give them the "all out" note for the same match length for match #4 and see a significant enough change to avoid penalties? In other words, could slow build or related note be used as a "hold back because I want your ppv performance to be much better" substitute? jesterx7769
I suppose you could do that. Of course you only get the penalty after the first three matches if the 4+ get a worse rating than the average of the previous matches. You could also use work the crowd and script which would cause them to hold back early on.

Faiiiirly sure I've done it with slightly shorter matches and been alright. Fairly sure xD I'd say 16-17 minimum.

Aye, I think 16 minutes is about the minimum. I know for a fact I've done it with just 18 minutes, can't remember if I did with 16 or not.
