WCW 2003- The Rebirth

Recommended Posts

In May 2003 two years after WCW was bought out by Vince McMahon after AOL/Time Warner didn't want a wrestling show on their station. Something big happened I'm talking real big, Ted Turner bought TNT back and was open for a wrestling program to be on. This just so happened to be the same time that the WCW and all things trademarked with WCW contracts expired. See Vince had all intentions at renewing them but before he could a man that worked for him did. This man is no stranger to WCW see this man was the one to start the Monday Night Wars. This man was none other than Easy E the Bisch man Eric Bischoff. The man who had tried to buy WCW before but was not successful is now in full control. The first act was to contact Ted which he did and set up WCW Nitro same time same day same channel.

For the first time in three years WCW returns to entertain the fans and take down WWE. This Monday marks the return of the Monday night wars and all titles are on the line we start of the night with a Tag Team Championship match between the Full Blooded British (Nigel McGuinness and Doug Williams) and Dustin Rhodes and Sean O'Haire. Followed by Chavo Vs. Rey Mysterio Jr. for the WCW Cruiserweight Championship. Then a hardcore match for the US title as Abyss faces off vs. Mark Jindrak. And in the Main Event we will have a Ten man battle royal for the world heavyweight title.
