Sockpuppet, these logos are definitely inspiring me to reconsider running a AAA game on both '05 and '10.

(thumbsup)

And another thumbsup for using the WOW stencil for the AAA Women Of Wrestling logo. :D

Thanks alot, glad you like them! I was always a fan of GLOW and WOW and figured this would be a fitting tribute. If you're being inspired to run an AAA game, hopefully this one will give you a push. In a day or so I ought to have all twelve events done.

the plates on this look really good. play with belt texture some to try to bring the strap up to par and this will be a pretty nice belt.

Also I was able to grab it just in the nick of time, but thought I'd post as an FYI for aspiring belt makers.... I found out that every couple of months newegg has been having corel photoshop and video studio onsale for free after rebate. not a bad deal. I was about to purchase x3, but instead got x4 for free (it's what I use).

I'm thinking of a way to add seems/stitches on the belts, but i havn't figured out a working method yet.

Here are the last three AAA events to round out the set. Enjoy!

what software are you using? All the belt makers are using different stuff so I'm sure someone could provid tips with whatever you're using.

I haven't found a way with my software yet to do what full metal is doing, which looks really nice, but I have been using repeating gradients (see the large TNA belt at the start of the thread) whch works well for most belt shapes, but not for wierd ones like the hardy strap.

I´ll use Paint.net, so i can use some Photoshop 3rd party stuff like Filter Forge and Eye Candy 4000. I´ll try to experiment some with repeating gradients.

I wasn't even aware of that one. After looking online I see there are some beveling plugins. You might be able to find one that allose you to do full metal's version, which looks better imo. Also didn't realize how many programs eye candy is compatable with. (I can purchase it for corel, but I don't)

I gotta say, I think you worked WAAAAAY too hard on this, LT. :p

You could try the equivalent of what I do--I make my stroke into a dotted one (with no spacing), make it only inside-path, then Inner Bevel:Down on it.

It works almost perfectly as a duplicate for the "scallop" tooling used by most of the current beltmakers on their leather.

I don't recall how to do the inside path thing because it's been so long, but I spent some time loading the new software and trying, but I'm not liking the results, see below for what I end up with.

On a side note, I'm annoyed that I removed the old version of the software without saving all of my presets from this title over so I lost some of the stuff I'd saved before. Oh well, you live and you learn. In case anyone's wondering I temporarily made the strap black because the pink was starting to annoy me.

Also on a side note, I came across this belt, which I thought was both smiple, yet pretty sweet.

Okay, seeing the tooling effort:

1) that's a good position, and a decent stroke to use (maybe lower the "Smoothness" setting though). I would recommend you make that your "standard" stroke.

2) to get the inner-bevel effects like I have, I suggest (since you're using the Eye Candy Bevel Boss, I assume), you pick one of the Carve presets and then play with the little line-box to refine it to something you'd prefer. Then save that as your "Leather Tooling" preset so you don't have to recreate it from scratch every time you wanna do it.

3) so the leather itself doesn't look flat, I recommend you duplicate the leather layer (again) and make it ONLY the stroke, about 10px wide, either from Center Of Path or Outside Path (the tooling would be Inside Path), then Bevel it (play around with the settings to find what works best for you) and put it above the base leather layer (but below the Tooling layer) to give it some depth. That's how I work my leather, in a nutshell.

There was a newer CZCW logo done by Kam and can be found in Kam's thread if thats any help?

Thanks. I checked it out and it's really similar to the default. Maybe I'm alone on thinking this, but when I run a promotion like CZCW I envision a progressive, up & coming, edgy promotion. The CZCW logo says none of that. Think I'll just hop on GIMP and throw something together real quick

Thanks guys

Remi asked me to turn my MLW Women's belt into a generic one, so here it is!

Figured I'd bump this with some new logos I made last night:

http://i752.photobucket.com/albums/xx166/FullMetalitia/Logos/show-WCWMondayNITRO.jpg

Monday NITRO cut to insert into any of your own logos (on a 600x600 document though, then shrink it down)

So playing the demo made me irritated all over again with my old All American Title design. Seeing some of the stuff in the 2020 threads gave me the itch to fix it.

I found this one here in a google search for on fkepod posted (apparently I can't link to the actual image)

I used that to make this

APW%28USA%29%20All%20American%20Large.jpg?psid=1&width=512&height=256

APW%28USA%29%20All%20American%20Small.jpg?psid=1&width=400&height=200APW%28USA%29%20All%20American%20Smallest.jpg?psid=1&width=200&height=100

I'm not presently taking any requests as I got lost in the game yesterday and spent 9 hours I didn't have making this today. With the whole covid thing, I may have some time in the late winter since I can't train. We'll see.

People can feel free to use this in mods. I likely can use one of the old saves (I save in stages and layers) to take the logo off if people want a generic and should be able to change the strap fairly easily.
