ReapeR
Well, I'm pretty much out of belts for SSW. I suppose now it's time to find a belt to redesign. Maybe from one of the GDS-verse so I don't have to compete against Belt Titan ReapeR. (Note: If you did those, just don't tell me so I don't get all emberassed.) Ok, I won't tell you. Linsolv
Haha. Ah, well. I was mostly worried I'd steal ideas. As it turns out, I didn't. Instead, I went looking at WWA's belts, and then made, basically, a generic USA belt.
Day_Dreamer
Great job on the North American belt Linsolv, I'll use that as my Stampede North American title. But Can you please make a belt that just says "Stampede Wrestling Championship". Well, in my little fantasy world, Stampede wrestling is the brand name of pro-style westling, like Olympic Wrestling or Greco Roman Wrestling, Stampede Wrestling is pro wrestling. And I'd mean a lot to me to have a great looking gold belt that just says Stampede Wrestling Champion.
Linsolv
Any decorations you'd like? (Also, ReapeR, since you might know, what was the font you (Maybe? I get so confused with innuendo) used for the WWA belts? I used Bauhaus [i added a few details to try to make it more specific to WWA, but I haven't finished yet. Need to get a green metallic gradient first from my AI file] but it doesn't have that star for the "A")
Day_Dreamer
Thanks for accepting my request. I like big belts so something the size/shape of the WHC would be great. As far as decorations, I really don't have a preference, maybe a globe on it would be awesome (something like the old Lesnar Era WWE belt posted below), but its up to you. http://myfinecollectibles.com/Belts/undisputed_belt.jpg
Day_Dreamer
You know what, I just got a better idea. How about a brahma bull logo (Rock's old symbol) on the face place and stampeding bulls (kinda like the logo of buffalo bills) on the side plates. It should go well with the stampede theme. What do you think?
Linsolv
I can do that. Since I've got you here, is this alright for a plate shape? http://i43.tinypic.com/2hncfgm.png I'm slightly dumb, so while I was looking at your reference photos, I tried making that shape, and then decided I couldn't do it and just found a plate that looked neat. (PS - I grabbed that logo off the web. I found another one, didn't know which one you preferred. Also, ignore the coloring. Most of it will be changed later, but for some reason or another I always work in funky flat colors instead of my final gradients.)
Linsolv
Finished. I can change just about anything, so if there's ANY changes you'd like to see, feel free to tell me. http://i40.tinypic.com/x53y51.png http://i43.tinypic.com/2gtakw5.png Incidentally, though I still wish I had that little star-'A,' I'm pretty happy with my WWA North America title now that I've added some more details. http://i42.tinypic.com/2cfdzcp.jpg http://i40.tinypic.com/j7szno.png
Day_Dreamer
Its looking great, I'd like just a couple of changes. The horns sticking out is ok, but can you move the champion thing so its stays inside the face plate? (If the size of all those logos is the issue, you can just make them all a little smaller). And, the rest of the face plate is looking a little blank, can you please fill it out with something, maybe add a few jewels or maybe those stars you have on the NA belt below. Also, the outline of the brahma bull logo is good the way it is, but can you try making it darker (kinda like the champion thing), just to see what it looks like? Once again, great job man. Linsolv
That's an effect of the lighting. I can try to adjust the gradients a bit, and work on the banner. As to the emptiness, I noticed it too. But I'm so bad at filling the space... EDIT: How do you feel about horseshoes?
Linsolv
How's this look, Day Dreamer? http://i41.tinypic.com/25utl5g.png http://i41.tinypic.com/a2cj5w.png

Linsolv
No problem! Feel free to request whatever. I've got way, way more time than I know what to do with. ... Except PPV logos. Nobody wants to give me any pro tips on those.

However, the actual WWA with the star in the "A", is an actual logo I got from Sebs.
Linsolv
Ah. Then I'll call Bauhaus 97 good. Since I mean, it looks pretty similar. Took me a while to notice it was different.
Jaysin
I'd really like to start making my own titles. I watched Payne's video and the plate making itself is simple enough. But in the video he used a strap he had already made. I can't get that down. Any help would be appreciated. I have Photoshop CS2

Jaysin
Thanks for the words of encouragement! I'm working on it right now, but I'm taking a break. The banner making is giving me a headache. I have some ideas of the actual design for the main plate brewing though. Hopefully it doesn't look like complete trash when I'm done
fullMETAL
I guess I should finally link to my own thread here... http://www.greydogsoftware.com/forum/showthread.php?t=92476 Since it's in the mostly desolate TEW 2005 discussion forum, maybe it might even get a sticky? Anyways, @ Jaysin: since you're using PS instead of FW, you could fake a good strap via my video tutorial by playing around with the Contours area of the Bevel/Emboss layer option...and you wouldn't even have to make 4 dupes of the layer to do it either! Jaysin
I borrowed the strap Reaper posted since I'm just seeing what I can come up for my first one. When Payne does his banner part though, it's honestly lost on me. I have no idea what he's doing.
Anggur Merah
I created my own promotion, the Global Wrestling League (GWL), for my personal games, and ended up making the logo, and some for TV shows. I'm not a good photoshopper, so I'm just relying on the free fonts I found on the internet. In case anyone wants to add GWL as a new promotion in their game: http://i142.photobucket.com/albums/r95/mahottama/GWL.jpg Global Wrestling League (GWL) Logo. http://i142.photobucket.com/albums/r95/mahottama/GWL_redux.jpg GWL Logo (smaller GWL font). http://i142.photobucket.com/albums/r95/mahottama/GWLBanner.jpg GWL Banner. http://i142.photobucket.com/albums/r95/mahottama/GWLEliteEmporium.jpg GWL Elite Emporium, designed for the Elite Brand of GWL. http://i142.photobucket.com/albums/r95/mahottama/GWLTheLegendsLaironAir-altred.jpg GWL Legends' Lair on Air, designed for the Legends Brand of GWL. http://i142.photobucket.com/albums/r95/mahottama/GWLExtremeXtravaganza.jpg GWL Extreme Xtravaganza, designed for the third brand, Extreme, of GWL. Linsolv
*sigh!* Well, I've now planned out enough in my SSW game that I might be able to book a show some time in the next week or two! But now that I've done all that thinking, I finally have a good idea for my triple-crown setup, and I'm gonna need a World Title. I was about 10 minutes away from deciding to wait for ReapeR to open requests, since I wondered what he'd come up with, but I wanted to incorporate a different logo (since Lion made fun of me!!) and decided that meant I had to do it myself. For some reason or another. I dunno, logic's not my strong suit. But I guess that means I'll have another belt (probably) by tonight to show off to all Liontamer's adoring fans. EDIT: Oh. And the other reason I wanted to incorporate my second logo is, I spent nearly an hour cleaning up the line-art that my program made for me from my super cool picture of Kurt Angle putting Holly into an ankle lock, and I'll be damned if it's never gonna see the light of day. PS. Still waiting on your debut, Jaysin!
