brashleyholland
New pics of EA Sports MMA here: The new picks confirm that the Dream 'White Cage' will be in, as will rings and a round cage. Also the first appearence of Nick Diaz. Not sure if Scott Smith has been confirmed yet, but he's in one of the pics too. http://middleeasy.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=1724%3Acheck-out-the-first-pictures-of-nick-diaz-in-ea-sports-mma&catid=34%3Aorganizations
Tag01
The gameplay sounds great and I suspect the career mode will destroy the one in UFC (Which is why I sold my copy months ago.) But the fighters don't look great. The backgrounds are super detailed, and yet the fighters look... liquid.
jesterx7769
I think the ring is a nice touch, will be interesting to see how the gameplay factors into them.
Tag01
I think the ring is a nice touch, will be interesting to see how the gameplay factors into them. Yea for sure. I hope the action against the ropes is realistic. I'm going to be disapointed if there is no fighting against the ropes/cage like in the first UFC. Given that this game can never compete on a roster level with the UFC's game, it's got to have (A) far superior gameplay, and (B) an excellent career mode. Daffanka
I'm not very hopeful since the game is made by one of the crappy EA studios. Why it's not made by the studio behind FN4 is beyond me.

It could be they are early versions that have not been fully rendered, but then why release the shots? The arenas look decent and it'll be nice to see how the rings play out. I'm reallhy holding out alot of hope for career mode...I think they'll reasile that alot of the appeal with playing an MMA game comes from using the fighters you know and love, so a good create/career mode could make the difference. Fingers crossed...

I've been pestering one of the QA team that I know through a friend of a friend for a while now (trying to blag a review copy...it's not going well :-p)...he said they wanted a team of guys who were very much MMA fans to make the game. FN3 is my favourite boxing game since Tyson's Punchout back in the day...would have loved to see an experienced team like that work on the MMA game. 1234
This game looks brilliant...really liking the cages/rings and fighters. But the deciding point for me will be the game controls, i couldnt stand the fight night round 4 controls so hoping this will be a bit better.
