RaptorRobertRage
Is there any way possible for a machine running the 64-bit version of Windows 7 (Professional) to run the new TEW? Only reason I ask is due to the fact that the site itself says no, yet the Tech Support forum says yes.

I've got no idea on the tech side of things, but if you can run the demo then you should be able to run the full game. Give it a try.
RaptorRobertRage
I've got no idea on the tech side of things, but if you can run the demo then you should be able to run the full game. Give it a try. My main concern is that the site says ELicense won't work on x64 machines, yet the Tech FAQ says the game itself would run. I'll try running the demo and see if that does anything though. UPDATE: Game seems to run perfectly fine on a 64-bit machine, but the whole bolded "Also, please note that ELicense does not work on Windows x64" on the website has me a bit worried. I would like to purchase the game, but really don't want to sink $40 into it if I can't get the licensing to work.
Irish Wolf
I play it just fine the only thing is even though my main account is an administrator it has a hard time with mods. It saves all new databases in a folder under the user not directly to the main folder in program files on the C: drive. So I just put a short cut to the user folder where I can unzip mods to work. RaptorRobertRage
Was just about to post that the ELicense wasn't working on Windows 7 64-bit (was getting an error code), but seems third time was the charm as it went through no problem, didn't double charge my card or anything so it appears to be all good. Warrior of Truth
the reason it saves games to your user folder is cause you are an admin but you must right click on the game and then choose run as admin option rather than just opening it. This gives the program admin privileges to save it to its folder rather than just your user folders.
Tiberius Bombard
I run it just fine on 64bit 7. Only issue I have sometimes is that the bottom buttons get cut off because of my widescreen display resolution but I've played so much I know what they say. Moe Hunter
^That's nothing to do with Windows, and everything to do with your graphics/monitor/resolution. You could try setting the Taskbar to auto-hide. TEW10 works just fine on Win7 x64. The only propblem is that eLicense doesn't show up on the Control Panel (much like in Vista), so you can't really uninstall properly if need be. But Adam did post instructions in the TEW08 Tech Forum on how to unlicense the game through Command Prompt. It's actually really easy.

Moe Hunter
just to note the e-license folder does show in vista....im looking at it Can you use it though? I recall being able to unlicense TEW07 and WMMA, but TEW08 didn't work for me in Vista. Ah well.
