teamkill
noob question(again!), I'd like to know what some of the stats for each worker stand for. of course, most are simple, but a few are a little puzzling. so if someone can explain some of the stats, and how they may be fully exploited in a match, I would appreciate it. If so, is there anything in particular you don't understand because otherwise you have asked a huge question that will take someone a lot of effort to answer. teamkill
I have read the help files, and to be specific, some of the stats that need some explanation are: Stiffness, Consistency, Chain Wrestling probably others, but those are the ones that I can think of. Derek B
I have read the help files, and to be specific, some of the stats that need some explanation are: Stiffness, Consistency, Chain Wrestling probably others, but those are the ones that I can think of. Stiffness is basically how hard hitting a worker is. A high value is a hard hitter, a low value is a very light worker. Too low and you look very unrealistic and too high you cause more wear and tear to a worker. NOT to be confused with being a dangerous worker, as it is possible to hit hard without being a dangerous worker, which is covered by the safety stat. Consistency is a measure of how consistent (I can't think of a better word) they are. Workers who make mistakes a LOT or who underperform would get a low stat, someone who performs to the best of their abilities (however skilled they happen to be) should get a high value. Chain wrestling is a little harder to describe but it's basically about linking moves together effectively. Moving through a string of submission holds is an example of chain wrestling, as would a series of counters and pinfalls. Hope that helps.
James Casey
Hijacking this thread a bit, but something I've never quite understood myself: If a worker has low skills in Flying (for example) will they be penalised if they're in a match with someone who uses a lot of aerial moves? Or is the ability to particiapte in a given match dictated by the core skills, and the style grades only affect how good someone is on offence in the match? Basically, would you need high Aerial stats to have a really good match with Rey Mysterio? Or does the game compensate for cross-style matches? Seems like a simple answer written down like that, but equally it makes sense to me that compatible styles should produce better results, so... Workers with similar skills will work better together than workers with different styles. So you would get a better result from putting a 50 high flier vs a 50 high flier than you would for 50 high flier vs 50 brawler. That is one of many reasons why Adam himself has stated that guys like Big Show who don't use high flying moves should be given some high flying skill as he is clearly capable of working a match with a high flying type, even though it's obviously not going to be him doing the flying. That is very interesting and good to know. I was not aware of that.
