Tv works with the sucess or not of a show?

Recommended Posts

I'm not sure about this, but is more the TV station big, the most they will want you to do a good show?...

I explain, I have 2 games, one with a fantasy created fed and one with TNA.

When i play my fantasy AWA game i do 72% rating and they say it might of hurt my popularity. (Very Big) Tv station

when i play TNA i do 72% rating and they say my show was a sucess(on Spike TV... BIG tv network)

By they way I've copied my TNA popularity on my AWA game. So i got the same amout of popularity.

I think show success and hurt notes work on the principle of if you have a 75% popularity in the region you're showing in you have to have a show rated at at least 75%, if you do a 72% show in a region where you are 75% popularity it will hurt your popularity.

Anyone can correct me if I'm wrong on this assumption

I concur that is correct (unless I've been judging my shows wrong the last few years). Popularity increases or decreases from shows & events are judged by the shows rating compared to your promotions popularity in the area the show is being held.

Ratings for TV shows are a mixture of the networks size (which accounts for how many people are able to view your show) and your promotions popularity in all regions the network is available in. Plus other variables (Wrestling industry state, compitition and so forth)

TV Network size has nothing to do with your shows getting the "lose popularity" note. You are leaving something out or have something mixed up. The only thing TV network size does (asides from coverage area) is amplify your gains or losses that the show gets.

If two promotions have an overness rating across the board of 70 and put on a 72 show you will gain popularity.

If both your overness of 72, and put on a 72 show I supposed it is possible you get either note (i dont know how deep the percents go) but should probably get no notes.

- Do the networks have the same coverage area?

- Are you holding the events in the same location?

- What is the companies popularity?

- Is it the same across the board?

- Is this a one time thing?
