Damianhucker1
How do you create invitational tounaments such as the rip chord invitational , apologies if just not seeing something thats simple but , if i put a round of quater finals , semi finals then final id be told ive used workers too much . I have a belt for my under 23 year old wrestlers and the winner of it each year is decided by the road agent , not myself and then given a big push , but at the mo i have to do it as a battle royal , wheras id prefer a tournament . Any help much appreciated.
1234
Some things that could be done to help you, i try to follow this as much as i can -If you could without ruining your finances run it over two nights. E.G Quarters and Semis one night and Final the next. -Only have Upper-midcarders or Main eventers progress if you dont want to get the wrestler is used to much note. -Maybe just do Semi-Finals and Finals, will help with the wrestler used to much note. Don;t use your midcard guys more than 15 to 20 minutes a show, upper midcard can usually go 25 to 30 and Main event guys have no limit. I try not to use a lower midcard more that 12 minutes and openers more than 8 and Enhancement Talents 6 minutes at most and that's total time on the show. And using them to much is bad for them, I've never really had it hurt an shows rating to much but even if they put on good matches their pop might drop as the fans feel you are pushing the worker on them and all the gains backfire. If you have a weekly show then just do the tournament spread out over the month. There's no need to do ti all in the same day with a weekly show. Damianhucker1
i understand what you guys have just said but im thinking along the lines of the invitational tournaments done in one night if poss and the fact that its for youngsters means there usually lower midcarders on average , is this idea basically a no go , leaving the way you guys have said above as the only safe option . The simplest thing to do is manually edit their push on the night of the show. Fans don't care if you tell them someone is a main eventer even if they really aren't so you can use whoever you like as a main eventer even if they really shouldn't be. jesterx7769
How long are the matches they are having right now? As the above poster stated correctly it is time that determines if a worker is overused so if you cut off a few minutes on each match it might be enough. how many rounds do you currently have? NicoTheUnique
I always creat a tournement backwards like this: Finals A vs B Semi-Finals: A vs C B vs D Quarter Finals: A vs E B vs F C vs G D vs H And you can ever more backwards, if you want more rounds, i always do 2 or even 3 nights if you go over 8 members. BTW, i love tournements cant get enough of them.

Wait...that would actually work??? I knew you could say whoever you wanted was a main eventer i didnt know the fans would believe you
