Liamo
http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee118/LiamoW/SWFLogocopy.png Supreme Wrestling Federation I don’t try writing dynasties very often and my only attempt, back on TEW 2005, didn’t go so well because I didn’t have a lot of spare time to spend on it. I’ve fancied giving it another back for a while, and now seems as good a time as any to take the plunge. After reading BigPapa’s ‘Generation Supreme’ on TEW2008’s boards, I’ve become a bit of a fan of the SWF and, since I’ve been enjoying my game so much it seemed the right choice for my dynasty. I’m not trying anything fancy or changing the company’s product to make this a little different from other SWF dynasties, this is just me playing through the game and writing what happens along the way in the form of show results and probably the odd bit backstage stuff when something fun and/or interesting happens. I’m booking things the way I think they should be for a sports entertainment company. Not necessarily how they work in real life, although I’ve probably been influenced by the years I’ve spent watching the WWE. I don’t have a particular plan in mind for where I’m headed (bar spreading into other countries, hence the name) and a lot of the stuff I’ve booked on the fly and have turned out surprisingly well. I’ll probably make some mistakes along the way; of the booking, spelling and grammar variety. I’ve already written a show and had fun doing so, which is always a good sign. My results are basically short summaries of what happened segment by segment; I won’t be writing out promos word for word and matches hold for hold. I think they’re readable enough that way. Storyline wise, I’ve left the starting storylines alone (bar adding Emma Chase to James vs. Sexy in a major role). So, we have: Three Way Battle for Supremacy Eric Eisen's devious plan led him to the SWF title and left Jack Bruce and Rich Money battered and defeated....now they return to action, and Eric is in both their sights, but who does Money want revenge on more, Eisen or Bruce? Marat vs. Faith Marat Khoklov may be the most destructive force ever unleashed on the SWF, but Christian Faith has made a career out of facing down unstoppable monsters. Does the aging veteran have one more miracle performance in him to stop the Russian crusher in his tracks? Vengeance vs. Frehley The dominating Vengeance finally ran into somebody willing to stand up to him when he came face-to-face with Steve Frehley....what will happen when two of the most powerful athletes in the SWF collide? James vs. Sexy SWF North American champion Brandon James has been on a major hot streak but now faces one of his biggest tests, former champion Joe Sexy. Can "Big Money" continue his run to the top? And can his manager Emma Chase maintain her legendarily ice-cold attitude in the face of Joe's charms?

Liamo
http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee118/LiamoW/SWF1.jpg SWF Supreme TV Preview Tuesday, Week One, January 2010 Happy New Year from everyone here at the Supreme Wrestling Federation! As the SWF gears up for another huge year, we'll be kicking it off in style on this week's Supreme TV! It's been almost two weeks since Eric Eisen won the SWF World Heavyweight Championship from Jack Bruce at Christmas Clash, and Jack's mood has been non-existant ever since. This week, Jack will be looking to kick start the New Year with a victory. However, it won't be easy as his opponent is none other than Angry Gilmore! Will Bruce be able to banish memories of last month with a win? Or will the Straight Edge Gilmore prove more than a match for the former champion? Speaking of former champions, Christian Faith will also be in action. He will take on the young and arrogant Marc DuBois in singles competition. DuBois has been looking to rise up the ranks here in the Supreme Wrestling Federation and has a chance to do so should be pick up the victory against a legend like Faith. Does he have what it takes? Or will Faith's experience be too much for the youngster? Elsewhere on the show, two former champions will collide as "The Dark Destroyer" Steve Frehley will take on the veteran that is Runaway Train. Neither man will want to lose this one and surely a win would prove to SWF management that they could be worth contenders for the SWF title at some point in the future. Who will stake their claim? Find out on Supreme TV! Confirmed Matches: Christian Faith vs. Marc DuBois Kurt Laramee vs. Valiant Runaway Train vs. Steve Frehley Enforcer Roberts vs. Joe Sexy Angry Gilmore vs. Jack Bruce
Shmoe
Welcome to the SWF family! Christian Faith vs. Marc DuBois - Unless you're looking to shock us, it won't go any other way. Kurt Laramee vs. Valiant - Laramee wins it to give Pain Alliance a reason for a shot at the tag belts. Runaway Train vs. Steve Frehley - Frehley slays a monster as he goes towards a showdown with THE monster, Vengeance. Enforcer Roberts vs. Joe Sexy - Building some momentum for his NA title shot. Angry Gilmore vs. Jack Bruce - Booked this very same match. Gilmore is a personal favourite of mine, but at this early stage you just can't put him over Bruce. Looks good so far, Liamo! Liamo
SWF Supreme TV: Tuesday, Wk 1, Jan '10 http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee118/LiamoW/SWF1.jpg SWF SUPREME TV Date: Tuesday, Week One, January 2010 TV Ratings: 6.20 (CANN), 0.17 (UKB Secondary) LIVE from Wisconsin Gardens Attendance: 10,000 (sell out) The first SWF Supreme TV of the New Year and decade opens in the usual manner, with a flashy pyrotechnic display coupled with the an overview of the crowd. The combination of the show’s entrance music, explosions from the pyro and the roar of the crowd make a deafening mix, but we join our announce team of Peter Michaels, Duane Fry and Jerry Eisen. http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee118/LiamoW/SWF/workers/PeterMichaels.jpghttp://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee118/LiamoW/SWF/workers/DuaneFry.jpghttp://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee118/LiamoW/SWF/workers/JerryEisen.jpg] Peter Michaels: Happy New Year everybody! This... is... Supreme TV! Jerry Eisen: And Happy New Decade from everyone here at the Supreme Wrestling Federation! Duane Fry: We are coming to you live from the Wisconsin Gardens here in Wisconsin and I can feel that this year will be... a barnstormer! http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee118/LiamoW/SWF/workers/EricEisen.jpghttp://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee118/LiamoW/SWF/workers/JackBruce_alt15.jpg With that, Eric Eisen makes his way to the ring with a swagger and a chorus of boos. He holds the SWF championship over his shoulder and asks for a microphone. He begins by saying that he’s fulfilled his destiny and claimed the SWF World Heavyweight title and generally puts himself over. That is until former champion Jack Bruce interrupts him mid-sentence by walking out onto the stage, microphone in hand. Eisen starts tearing into him: “HOW DARE YOU! I’M ERIC EISEN, DAMMIT!” But Bruce just smiles and lets him get it out of his system. After a few minutes, Jack informs Eric that at When Hell Freezes Over next week, he intends to make good of his rematch clause for the SWF Heavyweight title. Stunned, Eric hugs the title close to his chest and we cut to commercial. Segment Rating = A Jerry Eisen: Bruce/Eric at When Hell Freezes Over?! That’s huge! http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee118/LiamoW/SWF/workers/ChristianFaith.jpghttp://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee118/LiamoW/SWF/workers/MarcDuBois.jpg Standard Singles Match Christian Faith vs. Marc DuBois A very good match officially kicks off the New Year in the Supreme Wrestling Federation as veteran and future Hall of Immortals member Christian Faith faces off with the young and talented Marc DuBois. Both men look to use technical wrestling to their advantage but in the end the Faith drops DuBois with a powerslam followed up by the Leap of Faith for the three count. Result: Christian Faith wins via pinfall in 11:44 Segment Rating = B With the match over, DuBois slowly walks to the back holding his ribs and swearing revenge. Meanwhile, Faith is handed a microphone. He tells the crowd that for years he’s taken on all comers, some good, some bad; some small, some big. But none are bigger than Marat Khoklov, bar maybe Bruce the Giant. Still, Christian says he likes a challenge and so he wants Khoklov at When Hell Freezes Over. Segment Rating = B+ Jerry Eisen: Is Christian Faith crazy? Why would anyone want to wrestle Marat Khoklov? Peter Michaels: Faith loves proving himself, Jerry. He’s beaten the best of the best and now... he wants the biggest. Duane Fry: But will he live to regret it, Peter? http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee118/LiamoW/SWF/workers/KurtLaramee.jpghttp://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee118/LiamoW/SWF/workers/Valiant.jpg Standard Singles Match Kurt Laramee vs. Valiant Never planned as a classic wrestling match, Laramee and Valiant have a decent enough outing, albeit without the crowd interest of the previous match. The majority of the action is brawl based offence with neither man really taking control – that us until Big Smack Scott comes charging to the ring wielding a steel chair, sending it crashing into Valiant’s forehead for the blatant DQ. Result: Valiant wins via disqualification in 6:53 Segment Rating = D+ http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee118/LiamoW/SWF/workers/BigSmackScott.jpg Valiant lies motionless on the mat. Rather than look upset at the DQ loss, Laramee smiles at Scott. Scott smiles back and throws the chair to the mat. The two circle around Valiant and start putting the boots to him. After a few minutes, Scott demands a microphone and Laramee slaps a (poorly executed) camel clutch on Valiant. Scott yells into the mic for Jack Giedroyc to come out and accept their challenge to an SWF World Tag Team title match at When Hell Freezes Over... if he wants to see his partner walk again. Segment Rating = C- http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee118/LiamoW/SWF/workers/JackGiedroyc.jpg Giedroyc slowly walks out onto the stage, mic already in hand with a concerned look on his face. Giedroyc: Alright, Scott! Just let him go... you’ve got your match! Scott’s smile widens and slaps Laramee on the back. Laramee releases the hold and pushes Valiant’s face down into the mat. They leave the ring and allow referee Shane Stones back into the ring to tend to Valiant, who is also joined by a still concerned looking Giedroyc. Segment Rating = C+ Peter Michaels: Oh, come on! That is just sickening! Attacking Valiant and holding him hostage just to get a World Tag Team title match? These two make me sick! Duane Fry: But hey, it worked! They’ve got their match! Peter Michaels: Are you condoning this... this... sickening trap? Duane Fry: Not at all, Peter. But these guys want the World Tag titles and will do anything to get their hands on them and I can respect that! http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee118/LiamoW/SWF/workers/SteveFrehley.jpghttp://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee118/LiamoW/SWF/workers/RunawayTrain.jpg Standard Singles Match Steve Frehley vs. Runaway Train Not a downright terrible match, and at least the crowd got into it. It’s mercifully short with Frehley picking up the win after the Frehley Comet. As his hand is being raised in victory, the lights go out, bar an eerie red glow up on the stage... http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee118/LiamoW/SWF/workers/SkullDeBones_jhd2.jpg Frehley looks on confused as Vengeance slowly makes his way out onto the stage and glares at him. The announcers speculate that maybe Vengeance has chosen his next victim as we cut into another commercial break. Segment Rating = C- http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee118/LiamoW/SWF/workers/EmmaChase.jpg When we return, we see Emma Chase admiring herself in the mirror in her dressing room. Suddenly, she stops and concentrates. The faint sound of violins can be heard and a confused look spreads over her face. Slowly, she opens the dressing room door and jumps to see Joe Sexy standing in a tuxedo and a bunch of flowers in his hand, a huge grin on his face. http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee118/LiamoW/SWF/workers/JoeSexy.jpg He looks away and waves, motioning for someone to hurry up. Another man, also in a tux but also carrying a violin, quickly runs up and stands beside him and begins playing. Joe Sexy: Oh, Ms. Chase... Your beauty is so... so... beautiful! Emma rolls her eyes. Joe Sexy: Would you do me the hon- Emma cuts him off by slamming the door in his face. Segment Rating = B+ Jerry Eisen: Poor Joe just got shot down! Duane Fry: Did you honestly think the beautiful Emma Chase would be interested in a guy like Joe Sexy, Jerry? Peter Michaels: I don’t think the lovely Ms. Chase is interested in anything but business... http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee118/LiamoW/SWF/workers/EnforcerRoberts.jpghttp://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee118/LiamoW/SWF/workers/JoeSexy.jpg Standard Singles Match Enforcer Roberts vs. Joe Sexy After a lightening quick change into his ring gear, a heart broken Joe Sexy makes his way to the ring for what turns out to be a good match. Roberts controlled the pace with his technical superiority, but it wasn’t enough to seal the win, with Joe nailing the One Night Stand for the three. Result: Joe Sexy wins via pinfall in 11:43 Segment Rating = C+ Peter Michaels: We are just minutes away from seeing Angry Gilmore taking on the SWF World Championship’s number one contender, Jack Bruce in our main event! Duane Fry: Oh man, I can’t wait guys! Jerry Eisen: It’s going to be a barnstormer! Duane Fry: Hey! That’s my line... Peter Michaels: This has the potential to be a match of the year candidate, that’s for sure an- Wait? What’s this? Our announce team are cut off by a limousine pulling into the arena car park. The driver gets out and quickly waddles to the passenger door, opening it and allowing his passenger out. Much to the crowd’s joy and announcer’s surprise, its Rich Money – who hasn’t been seen since the beating he took at the hands of Jack Bruce last month. http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee118/LiamoW/SWF/workers/RichMoney.jpg Duane Fry: Business just picked up! Rich Money is here and he doesn’t look happy! Segment Rating = B+ http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee118/LiamoW/SWF/workers/AngryGilmore.jpghttp://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee118/LiamoW/SWF/workers/JackBruce_alt15.jpghttp://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee118/LiamoW/SWF/workers/EricEisen.jpg After another break, we see Gilmore already in the ring looking as grumpy as ever. Seconds later, he’s joined by Jack Bruce who receives a thunderous ovation. He gets into the ring, the bell rings and... Eric Eisen’s music plays. Bruce turns to face the champion, who makes his way to ringside wearing street clothes, the SWF championship and a smile. Seeing his chance, Gilmore nails Bruce from behind with a clubbing blow, sending him crashing into the corner. Eric smiles and throws his brother Jerry out of his seat at the announce table and sits down himself. Jerry sulks and slowly makes his way to the back as the match officially begins... Peter Michaels: Nice of you to join us, Eric. Eric Eisen: That’s Mr. Eisen to you, Michaels. And I can’t do much worse than that idiot, Jerry. You know, I want better at him at everything, Duane. Duane Fry: Well, you’re definitely a better wrestler than he is! Eric Eisen: You’ve got that right, Duane, but hell, I’m better than everybody in this company. Duane Fry: That’s why you’re the champion! Eric Eisen: That’s why I’m the champion! Peter Michaels: Will you stop kissing Eric’s ass, Duane? We’ve got a match to call here! Eric Eisen: You know you could learn a thing or two from Duane, Michaels... http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee118/LiamoW/SWF/workers/AngryGilmore.jpghttp://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee118/LiamoW/SWF/workers/JackBruce_alt15.jpg Standard Singles Match Angry Gilmore vs. Jack Bruce Gilmore kept control after taking the advantage thanks to Eisen for a fair while, wearing the former champion down with a variety of technical offence but couldn’t quite find a way to the three count. Bruce started coming more into the matchup at around the half way point, fighting back with his brawling abilities before fully completing the comeback with an implant DDT. The match evened itself out again towards the end with both men exchanging holds and suplexes. The finish came as Bruce fought out of the Anger Management, hit the ropes and telegraphed Gilmore’s backdrop attempt with the New York Minute for the one, two, three. Result: Jack Bruce wins via pinfall in 15:32 Segment Rating = B Bruce’s hand is raised in victory, much to Eric’s despair at ringside. Bruce turns and motions that he’ll be wearing the gold soon around his waist, but stops as Rich Money’s music begins to play throughout the sold out arena. Sure enough, Money walks out onto the stage and stares at Bruce as our announce team remind us that the last time these two were in the same ring, Bruce could have ended Money’s career. Bruce obviously hasn’t forgotten, as he doesn’t take his eyes off of Money as he slowly makes his way to the ring. Perhaps he should have, as he doesn’t notice Eric Eisen slide into the ring behind him with the SWF title. When he does, it’s too late, as its seconds before Eisen sends the gold thundering into his forehead, laying him out cold in the middle of the squared circle just as Money reaches the bottom of the ramp. Eisen smiles and holds the title in the air. Money watches him, never taking his eyes off the belt as the show ends. Segment Rating = B+ Quick Results: Christian Faith def. Marc DuBois via pinfall (B) Valiant def. Kurt Laramee via DQ (D+) Steve Frehley def. Runaway Train via pinfall (C-) Joe Sexy def. Enforcer Roberts (C+) Jack Bruce def.
