The People’s Team © vs Team Sublime vs The Towers of Power for the USPW Tag Team Titles

The peoples team should retain if they don't I would say the Towers of Power might win it but hopefully the Peoples Team will get the win here.

Alicia Strong and Raven Robinson vs Belle Bryden and Cherry Bomb vs Joanne Rodriguez and Gorgon

Can't bet against the bosses daughter

Nicky Champion © vs Peter Valentine vs Giant Redwood for the USPW National Title

Nicky will retain I don't see you giving it to Peter Valentine although with the way this dynasty is set up he could be a saint but in normal games hes a pain in the ass.

The Force vs Jumbo Jackson

May The Force be with Jumbo Jackson for this one

Enygma vs T-Rex

Enygma is the better choice in my opinion.

Chris Caulfield vs Bruce the Giant

This match could go either way but should be a good match for you overall. I am actually surprised that you haven't lost Chris to SWF yet but maybe its because he is under written contract with USPW at the start of the game so you have him for now anyways.

Tyson Baine © vs James Justice for the USPW World Heavyweight Title

I know James Justice probably won't win but I am going with him because he would make a better champion for you overall!

Announced for USPW Declaration of Independence:

The People’s Team © vs Team Sublime vs The Towers of Power for the USPW Tag Team Titles - Not time for the JTTSes or the former champs to win the belts.

Alicia Strong and Raven Robinson vs Belle Bryden and Cherry Bomb vs Joanne Rodriguez and Gorgon - Some kind of DDQ/DCO schmozz where nobody really wins.

Nicky Champion © vs Peter Valentine vs Giant Redwood for the USPW National Title - I'm kind of tempted to go with Redwood for comedy, but Champion is the guy on the rise.

The Forcevs Jumbo Jackson - TEH FORCE!!!1!!! is still with us.

Enygma vs T-Rex - T-Rex's the perfect guy to job to Enygma. Over enough it won't be a throw away match, but not so over it'll hurt T-Rex to lose to him.

Chris Caulfield vs Bruce the Giant - by DQ when Bruce SMASH!

Tyson Baine © vs James Justice for the USPW World Heavyweight Title - Faces won the underneath matches, heel keeps the belt. Plus, Justice doesn't feel like the #1 face in the company.

A decent contest, with The People’s Team having to fight off two teams that were happy to ally against the champions. That was until Darryl Devine hit a Moonsault on Freddie Datsun, and Mick Mucles broke up the pin, leading to all six men in the ring. At that point tag rules completely dropped off the page, with Rushmore taking out Andre Jones with the Atomic Boot, Devine leaping over the ropes to take out Datsun and Muscles, and finally Des Davids hitting the Quarterback Sack on Rushmore and getting the pin to retain the titles.

The People’s Team defeated Team Sublime and The Towers of Power in 10.17 to retain the USPW Tag Team Titles (C-)

We got an early hype from James Justice, with him deciding to take a vote from the crowd to see who they wanted to win the Main Event tonight. Unsurprisingly he came out top, and promised to feed off the power that the crowd gave him to take down Baine - and naturally brought out his catchphrase (B+)

Match #2: The Force vs Jumbo Jackson

http://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/JimForce.jpghttp://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/USPW_Declaration-1.jpghttp://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/JumboJackson.jpg

The two large men slugged it out here, with Jumbo Jackson encouraged from ringside by Shane Sneer. A surprisingly short match was ever when The Force confronted Shane Sneer, fed up with his shouts, leaving himself wide open for a Jumbo Avalanche.

Jumbo Jackson defeated The Force in 6.41 ©

The Force couldn’t believe his defeat, and went on a verbal tirade against Sneer. Jackson pulled him away, and the commentary team suggested that Sneer and Jackson may be over their troubles ©

Alicia Strong and Raven Robinson were shown getting ready when Sam Strong came up to them. He wished the ladies good luck, and told them not to get too focussed on J-Ro and Gorgon, and Belle Bryden and Cherry Bomb were equally as dangerous (C+)

Match #3: Alicia Strong and Raven Robinson vs Belle Bryden and Cherry Bomb vs Joanne Rodriguez and Gorgon

http://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/AliciaStrong.jpg & http://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/RavenNightfall_alt2.jpghttp://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/USPW_Declaration-1.jpghttp://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/BelleBryden.jpg & http://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/CherryBomb_alt2.jpg

http://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/JoanneRodriguez_alt1.jpg & http://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/Gorgon.jpg

Despite Sam Strong’s advice, the faces concentrated on J-Ro and the Woman’s Champion, Gorgon, leaving Belle Bryden and Cherry Bomb sidelined for much of the match. This only served their purpose as it kept the two ladies refreshed, and it was Cherry Bomb who got the pin on J-Ro after hitting the Cherry Popper.

Belle Bryden and Cherry Bomb defeated Alicia Strong and Raven Robinson and Joanne Rodriguez and Gorgon in 10.23 (C-)

Backstage, Jack Griffith was motivating The Titans, while all the time bemoaning the fact that he hadn’t been booked into a match. Baine told him to calm down – no match meant that he could concentrate on ensuring the title remained where it was meant to (B+)

We quickly cut over to a different locker-room, where Giant Redwood was eating fried chicken. Peter Valentine sat by him asking Giant Redwood if he knew what he was meant to do, to which he responded that he knew, and as long as he got more chicken, he would oblige. He shoved his bucket in Valentine and demanded more chicken, to which Valentine shook his head in resignation before walking off (D-)

Match #4: Enygma vs T-Rex

http://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/Enygma.jpghttp://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/USPW_Declaration-1.jpghttp://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/T-Rex_alt1.jpg

T-Rex bullied Enygma around for much of this match, fighting for the Jurassic Crush all match. Enygma did his best to avoid it, and even once applied the Enygma Variation, but T-Rex powered out. He then pushed Enygma away when he tried an Enygma Cutter, but a charge into the corner was avoided, leaving T-Rex to eat ringpost. Enygma went on the offensive and this time hit the Enygma Cutter, just getting the pin before T-Rex powered out.

Enygma defeated T-Rex in 8.08 ©

Chris Caulfield hyped his match with Bruce the Giant, telling his opponent that he held him responsible for him not getting another World Title shot tonight. An intense Caulfield calmed down saying that it was not to matter – he would remove this obstacle and then go back into the title picture, whoever walked out with the title tonight (B+)

Peter Valentine and Giant Redwood were out for the National Title match, before the champion came out with two buckets of fried chicken, calmly laying them down ringside before entering the ring (D)

Match #5: Nicky Champion © vs Peter Valentine vs Giant Redwood for the USPW National Title

http://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/USPW_National.jpg

http://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/NickyChampion_alt.jpghttp://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/USPW_Declaration-1.jpghttp://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/PeterValentine.jpghttp://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/USPW_Declaration-1.jpghttp://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/GiantRedwood.jpg

Valentine and Redwood proved to be on the same page, double teaming Champion and throwing him from the ring. That caused the champion to take a chicken break, tossing Redwood a leg a well. That caused an argument between Valentine and Redwood, almost allowing Champion to get a quick roll up. That was broken up by a splash from Redwood… that Nicky Champion avoided, taking out Valentine. The former champion was not able to recover, leaving Champion to hit the Hawkeye Hammer on Redwood for the rin.

Nicky Champion © defeated Peter Valentine and Giant Redwood in 6.09 to retain the USPW National Title (D+)

Paige Croft interviewed Bruce the Giant, and it was slightly lacklustre – proving that perhaps I need a hot match going into one of her segments. Bruce the Giant pointed out how her normal interviewees won, but last month she put the curse on him, and he lost to James Justice. Bruce told Croft that he hopes she doesn’t become his unlucky charm, as he quite enjoyed tehse chats, and would hate to have to put an end to them (B-)

Match #6: Chris Caulfield vs Bruce the Giant

http://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/ChrisCaulfield_alt1.jpghttp://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/USPW_Declaration-1.jpghttp://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/BrucetheGiant.jpg

No selling? Check. The two men thundered away at one another, with Caulfield grittily standing up to his larger opponent. Chris Caulfield managed several nearfalls but could not keep the giant down, and Bruce took the momentum with two elbows to the head which he was lucky to not be disqualified for. Once Bruce got Caulfield over his head there was nothing he could do, and he fell to a slam then Giant Choke Slam.

Bruce the Giant defeated Chris Caulfield in 9.50 ©

We put together a hype video for the Main Event, showcasing Baine and Justice, their finishers and their interactions so far. It made a decent video (B+)

Tyson Baine © vs James Justice for the USPW World Heavyweight Title

But for poor chemistry… I just can’t break above C+, and the lack of chemistry between these two suggested that this was a missed opportunity. Another slugfest that had good interactions with the crowd from Justice, doing is best to feed off their energy. When the fight went into the crowd after a ref bump Justice really went on a roll, until Jack Griffith joined Baine and attacked Justice. That brought Savage Fury out, but they had a hard time getting through the crowd, and got cut off from Baine and Justice. The champion dragged Justice back into the ring and while Griffith blocked off Savage Fury Baine delivered a Hades Bomb, shook the ref awake, hit another Hades Bomb and made the pin for the victory.

Tyson Baine © defeated James Justice in 13.12 to retain the USPW World Heavyweight Title (C+)

Baine roared in success after the match, having taken out yet another challenger (B+)

Overall Rating C+

Buyrate – 0.58

Another PPV, another problem, with James Justice spreading false rumours about Danny Rushmore. Fortunately it didn’t get too far before being squashed, and I took it easy on Justice. I’d have to play it carefully – his contract was the first of my Main Eventers to come up for renewal, and I don’t think he’d object to joining SWF or TCW. It didn’t stop Declaration of Independence becoming the best show I had put on, with the Main Event (with poor chemistry) my second best match ever. After Justice’s dark match with Griffith. I’m seriously going have to do something about that match appearing on the list.

Dragonmack gets the win with 7/7, having faith in Belle Bryden, Cherry Bomb, Bruce the Giant and Jumbo Jackson that others didn't show. I haven't done an up to date count so far so, since last summary the predicition standings look like this:

BHK: 65/79

Dragonmack: 55/67

TakerNGN74: 35/50

jessewiak: 33/44

BYU14 and FlameSnoopy: 13/18

Lexa90: 9/12

USPW American Wrestling:

Live from New England

Pre-Show: Kicks from Hell, Joanne Rodriguez and Gorgon defeated The Hillbillys, Anger and Paige Croft (D+), Danny Rushmore defeated Captain USA (D-)

The show opened with Tyson Baine in the ring, declaring that there were no more challenges for him – he had defeated each and every one of them, and could not believe that anyone else would dare face him. That brought out James Justice to remind Baine that the only reason why he won was due to interference, and he felt like he deserves a title shot. Then Bruce the Giant joined the party, noting that his victory over Chris Caulfield should put him in the frame… and then Enygma came out, and he wanted in as well. Sam Strong ensured it a busy ring, but made everyone except Baine happy by making a Fatal Four-way at USPW Americana, before announcing that Justice and Enygma and Baine and Bruce would be teaming in tonight’s two Main Events (B)

Match #1: Shoot Club vs Team Sublime

http://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/MarcSpeed.jpg & http://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/AlColeman.jpghttp://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/USPW_Declaration-1.jpghttp://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/DarrylDevine_alt1.jpg & http://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/AndreJones.jpg

Wow. The ring action was good enough in this match for the crowd to actually sit up and take notice. We’ll have a tag division yet. Although Andre Jones carried out most of the offence for Team Sublime it was Darryl Devine who picked up the win, hitting the Devine Dream Drop on Coleman.

Team Sublime defeated Shoot Club in 5.48 (C-)

Backstage Belle Bryden and Cherry Bomb went into the locker-room of Alicia Strong and Raven Robinson, gloating over their victory at Declaration of Independence. Cherry Bomb noted that Raven Robinson had her title rematch with Gorgon next week (like, a month after she lost her title), but she had proved that she should be the Number One Contender, and would do again now (C-)

Match #2: April Appleseed vs Cherry Bomb

http://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/AprilAppleseed.jpghttp://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/USPW_Declaration-1.jpghttp://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/CherryBomb_alt2.jpg

April Appleseed – queen of the jobbers in my Women’s Division. No change here.

Cherry Bomb defeated April Appleseed in 5.29 (D)

Paige Croft found the courage to interview Bruce the Giant and Tyson Baine, asking them if they were going to be able to work as a team. Baine screamed in Croft’s face that he did not need to be part of a team, he could crush anyone who was put in his way. Bruce pushed Baine back, telling the champion that was no way to treat a lady, which started a yelling match between the two. Not the best start for the team (B)

Elsewhere, Peter Valentine and Giant Redwood were shown in Commissioner Doom’s office, being given a Tag Title shot next week. Nothing more to say (D+)

Match #3: Chris Caulfield vs Mick Muscles

http://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/ChrisCaulfield_alt1.jpghttp://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/USPW_Declaration-1.jpghttp://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/MickMuscles.jpg

Holy Best Match Ever, stuck in the middle of a free card. Pretty good chemistry, but some decent action with the crowd firmly behind Chris Caulfield. Muscles has now had good matches with Enygma and Caulfield, showing that maybe he could one day cope with another run in the Main Event. Here, he fell to Caulfield and a Danger Drop.

Chris Caulfield defeated Mick Muscles in 8.28 (B-)

Shane Sneer came out, declaring that despite his efforts to get Jumbo Jackson a title shot his client was left without a match at Americana. On his behalf he challenged Caulfield to a match, which Caulfield was willing to accept. Sneer declared himself pleased, before telling Caulfield that he would get a taster of Americana – as he was jumped from behind by Jackson, who hit the Jumbo Avalanche on his future opponent (B-)

Enygma and James Justice promised one another that they’d be on the same page tonight, with Justice telling Enygma to let him get his hands on Jack Griffith. Hmmm, that’s my best run of three segments ever. Can a T-Rex match bring that to a halt (B+)?

Match #4: James Justice and Enygma vs T-Rex and Jack Griffith

http://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/Liberty.jpg & http://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/Enygma.jpghttp://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/USPW_Declaration-1.jpghttp://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/T-Rex_alt1.jpg & http://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/JackGriffith.jpg

Not up to the previous match’s standard, but I was hardly expecting another Match of the Year candidate. Griffith did his best to hide from Justice, but that just angered Justice, so when he finally got his hands on Justice the beatdown was violent. The original plan for this match was a count out with the action spilling out of the ring, but Enygma hit with his Creative Control for the second time. Instead we still had the action spill outside, but Savage Fury were on hand to direct traffic back into the ring, where Enygma pinned Griffith.

James Justice and Enygma defeated T-Rex and Jack Griffith in 9.26 ©

Jack Griffith took a mic after the match and blamed the defeat on Savage Fury, telling them it was about time that they proved themselves in the ring. Savage Fury flexed their muscles, seemingly up for the challenge, and Griffith promised to find them opponents the following week (B-)

Nicky Champion and The Force cut a promo before the Main Event, The Force noting Champion’s title, and their lack of teaming up recently. Champion asked The Force not to go down that route – their advantage tonight wasn’t in size, it was in unity. The Force agreed, and the two shook hands (B-)

Match #5: Champion Force vs Tyson Baine and Bruce the Giant

http://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/NickyChampion_alt.jpg & http://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/JimForce.jpghttp://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/USPW_Declaration-1.jpghttp://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/TysonBaine.jpg & http://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/BrucetheGiant.jpg

A decent slugfest, with not a lot of selling going on. Champion Force got in good offence, showing better teamwork than their opponents. However, eventually size and power told, with Bruce the Giant pinning The Force after a Giant Choke Slam.

Tyson Baine and Bruce the Giant defeated Champion Force in 12.44 ©

Overall Rating C+

5/5 all round - full marks for Dragonmack, TakerNGN74, BHK1978 and jessewiak... who basically had to determine correctly whether or not Team Sublime would win to gain full marks. Which they did.

Well, I said that I needed to knock that dark match off the top spot of my best matches. I didn’t expect it be replacing it here with a Mick Muscles match. There’s definitely another singles run left in him – whether it’s a decent singles run remains to be seen.

Cherry Bomb received a new contract, making outrageous demands just as I began to push her. Clever strategy. I also extended USPW’s TV contract for another two seasons. Meanwhile PGHW, under the guidance of Bryan Holmes, go National.

Awesome 5/5 on the last one well on to this weeks predictions

Shoot Club vs T-Rex and Jack Griffith

T-Rex and Jack Griffith aren't a regular team so therefore if you factor in experience as a team Shoot Club should win.

Savage Fury vs Kicks from Hell

No idea who Kicks from Hell are but I will go with them anyways because Savage Fury have been losing a lot

Gorgon © vs Raven Robinson for the USPW Women’s Title

Raven Robinson will win the USPW women's title because quite frankly she is a better candidate to hold the belt in my opinion.

The People’s Team © vs Peter Valentine & Giant Redwood for the USPW Tag Team Titles

Peoples team will retain unless Peter Valentine bitches that he wants to win cause he does that from time to time during booking.

Chris Caulfield and Champion Force vs Jumbo Jackson and The Towers of Power

Better team in my opinion so I will go with them for the win.

Enygma vs Bruce the Giant

I am fine with either of these guys winning because they are both top stars in the company but for the sake of predicting I will go with Bruce The Giant.

Chris Caulfield and Champion Force vs Jumbo Jackson and The Towers of Power - Caufield's the decider here.

Enygma vs Bruce the Giant - Agains, tempted to go SE finish, but I'll go Enygma by DQ.

http://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/FreddieDatsun.jpg & http://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/DesDavids.jpghttp://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/USPW_Declaration-1.jpghttp://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/PeterValentine.jpg & http://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/GiantRedwood.jpg

Valentine and Redwood did well as a team until Redwood mistook Valentine shouting instructions as asking for a tag, and by the time they sorted it out Freddie Datsun quickly rolled up Valentine for the win.

The People’s Team © defeated Peter Valentine & Giant Redwood to retain the USPW Tag Team Titles (D)

As The People’s Team celebrated Team Sublime came out… with Seduction as we try and give her some mic time. She claimed that they were choosing joke opponents to defend their title against, and challenged them to defend their titles against a true team of up and comers – a team that already holds gold (Andre Jones holds the Television Title if anyone has forgotten as he hasn’t defended it in a month), Team Sublime. The People’s Team accepted, saying that if the match was going to be as good as hyped, it was a match for PPV, and they agreed to meet at Americana (D)

Match #3: Savage Fury vs Kicks from Hell

http://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/TribalWarrior.jpg & http://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/Java.jpghttp://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/USPW_Declaration-1.jpghttp://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/HellMonkey_alt2-1.jpg & http://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/JaredJohnson.jpg

The commentary team introduced John Pathlow (that guy still looks familiar to me…) and Jared Johnson, with both men using quick kicks to attack their opponents. However, once Savage Fury got used to the offence (although maybe they should have guessed that their name was a clue) they went to work at overpowering the newcomers, Java hitting Greeting from the Island on Pathlow for the victory.

Savage Fury defeated Kicks from Hell in 4.43 (D+)

Raven Robinson came out for her Women’s Title rematch, followed by Gorgon and Joanne Rodriguez. Sam Strong was a surprise next man out, decreeing that as his daughter was honourable enough to stay backstage, so should J-Ro, and he preceded to ban her from ringside (C-)

Match #4: Gorgon © vs Raven Robinson for the USPW Women’s Title

http://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/USPW_Womens.jpg

http://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/Gorgon.jpghttp://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/USPW_Declaration-1.jpghttp://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/RavenNightfall_alt2.jpg

I knew they didn’t click, but felt that I had to run this match again. Gorgon bullied Robinson around the ring, but Robinson used her speed to get a couple of nearfalls. The match was decided when Cherry Bomb jumped through the crowd and dropped Robinson’s neck on the top rope, allowing Gorgon to deliver the Hydra Bomb.

Gorgon © defeated Raven Robinson in 7.58 to retain the USPW Women’s Title (D)

As Gorgon rolled out of the ring Cherry Bomb was joined by Belle Bryden, who took the opportunity to give the former champion a good kicking while she was down. Alicia Strong was out to make the save, but Robinson needed help to leave the ring (D-)

Chris Caulfield and The Force talked about their next match, both saying that they wanted their hands on Jumbo Jackson. Nicky Champion declared that he didn’t care who they got their hands on – they were here for the win, to pin whoever it takes. Caulfield and The Force shared a glance, with Caulfield muttering “youngsters” as they headed to the ring (C-)

Match #5: Chris Caulfield and Champion Force vs Jumbo Jackson and The Towers of Power

http://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/ChrisCaulfield_alt1.jpg & http://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/NickyChampion_alt.jpg & http://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/JimForce.jpg

http://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/USPW_Declaration-1.jpg

Shane Sneer did a good job of goading The Force during this match, altering the momentum for his workers. Only when the Sneer Corporation were on top did Jumbo Jackson deem himself ready to face Chris Caulfield, but it was at that point that Caulfield made a comeback. Jackson did manage to tag out, but Rushmore was unable to do anything abut the momentum that Caulfield built up, taking the pin after a Danger Drop.

Chris Caulfield and Champion Force defeated Jumbo Jackson and The Towers of Power in 8.55 (D+)

Paige Croft interviewed Bruce the Giant before the Main Event, thanking the large man for supporting her last week. Bruce told Paige that he would stand up for her – he didn’t want anyone picking on poor small Paige Croft. He then turned his attention to Enygma, telling the masked former champion that he would be knocking him out of the Title challenge tonight, and he would continue until there’s no-one left (B+)

Bruce the Giant left to head to the ring and Croft smiled to herself, but turned around straight into USPW World Heavyweight Champion Tyson Baine. Baine smiled as best he could before roaring in Croft’s face, causing her to run away. The Champion shook his head in disgust, before heading in the same direction Bruce the Giant went (B-)

Match #6: Enygma vs Bruce the Giant

http://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/Enygma.jpghttp://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/USPW_Declaration-1.jpghttp://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/BrucetheGiant.jpg

The match had barely got going before Tyson Baine came down ringside, his presence clearly distracting the two participants. Baine took a seat and watched the match, but gradually got himself more involved, until the point that he started throwing chairs into the ring. He seemed to encourage Enygma and Bruce the Giant into using the weapons on one another, but instead they decided to use them on Baine, giving the champion a beat down… and seemingly ending the match.

Enygma and Bruce the Giant went to a no-contest in 12.06 ©

Baine was out on the floor when Bruce turned his attention on Enygma, cracking him with a chair over the head. With two defenceless men laid out James Justice sprinted out for the back, and went toe to toe with Bruce. It was the Giant who got to upper hand, slamming James Justice down onto a chair, and Bruce ended the show victorious with his opponents littered around the ring (A)

Overall Rating C

This show proved much harder to predict for three reasons - 1) No-one knew who Kicks From Hell were, 2) No-one knew if Peter Valentine was going to pull Creative Control to make my tag division suck (fotunately Des Davids is the same overness as him - Freddie Datsun more), and 3) there was a SE finish in the Main Event, that jesseewiak came that close to predicting. Nevertheless jesseewiak and BHK1978 share the honours with 3/6.

And now I've put his picture up, does everyone recognise former USPW worker John Pathlow?

I’ll take that – it’s not going to help us (in fact, it might hurt us), but considering I didn’t have Tyson Baine or James Justice wrestle, it’s what I expected. Enygma arranged a video competition backstage, and I’ve actually got a very settled backstage atmosphere.

And sad news – Peter Valentine reveals retirement is just round the corner for him. Sad news because… erm… well… Sam will probably want me to use him for the next 10 months of his contract and I need to find something for him to do?

Better team in my opinion

Freddie Datsun vs Darryl Devine

Really like this matchup but will go with Datsun for the win.

Alicia Strong vs Joanne Rodriguez vs Belle Bryden vs Cherry Bomb

Shes related to Sam Strong need I say more.

Nicky Champion © vs Danny Rushmore for the USPW National Title

The Champ will retain.

Enygma vs Peter Valentine

Enygma for the win here but could easily see Valentine winning which I would be fine with. However for prediction sake I am going with Enygma.

Chris Caulfield and James Justice vs Jumbo Jackson and Bruce the Giant

Again better team in my opinion but could easily see BTG and Jumbo Jackson pulling out an upset.

We opened the show with USPW’s strength – large men brawling in the ring. T-Rex targeted The Force leading to the two brawling outside the ring, with the heel throwing The Force through a barrier. Inside the ring, Baine hit the Hades Bomb on Java for the win.

The Titans and Jack Griffith defeated The Force and Savage Fury in 8.40 (C-)

As Baine and Griffith kept Savage Fury busy in the ring, T-Rex continued his assault outside the ring on The Force, before bellowing in triumph over his fallen body (B-)

Match #2: Freddie Datsun vs Darryl Devine

http://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/FreddieDatsun.jpghttp://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/USPW_Declaration-1.jpghttp://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/DarrylDevine_alt1.jpg

A relatively un-inspirational match, which showed Devine going to toe to toe with his more experienced opponent. Andre Jones tried to assist his partner with a wild swing of his title at Datsun, but the veteran ducked the shot and knocked Jones from the apron. He then dodged a charging Devine, and rolled him up for the win.

Freddie Datsun defeated Darryl Devine in 6.59 (D)

Devine and Jones got into an argument after the match, before Seduction reminded them that they had to be on the same page in future (D+)

Backstage, The Force stormed in on Sam Strong, asking if he had seen what happened to him, and when Sam confirmed that he did he demanded a match with T-Rex. Strong suggested that The Force saw Commissioner Doom, but The Force grabbed Strong by his jacket, telling the owner that he knew he could make the match, and he needed the match. Strong asked The Force to calm down, and agreed to make the match from Americana (B-)

Commissioner Doom was shown in his office, declaring that due to interference Raven Robinson would get a Women’s Title shot at Americana against Gorgon. However, she would also be joined by the winner of the following match (D)

Match #3: Alicia Strong vs Joanne Rodriguez vs Belle Bryden vs Cherry Bomb

http://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/AliciaStrong.jpghttp://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/USPW_Declaration-1.jpghttp://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/JoanneRodriguez_alt1.jpghttp://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/USPW_Declaration-1.jpghttp://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/BelleBryden.jpghttp://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/USPW_Declaration-1.jpghttp://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/CherryBomb_alt2.jpg

With the stakes upped, an intense match could have been expected. However, Alicia Strong found herself outnumbered and quickly deposited from the ring. Bryden and Bomb them teamed up on J-Ro, and after double teaming her Belle Bryden kept Strong occupied allowing Bomb to pin J-Ro.

Cherry Bomb defeated Alicia Strong, Joanne Rodriguez and Belle Bryden in 6.12 (D+)

Cherry Bomb and Belle Bryden celebrated on their way out back, until they came across Raven Robinson. She declared that they wouldn’t find it so easy at Americana, as it’d be every woman for themselves, and no relying on strength of numbers. That’s when Gorgon stormed in dropping everyone with clotheslines, emphasising Robinson’s point starkly (D+)

Match #4: Nicky Champion © vs Danny Rushmore for the USPW National Title

http://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/USPW_National.jpg

Although Rushmore started strongly, he began to run out of ideas as the match progressed, with the commentary team suggesting that he was looking like a tag team wrestler. Which was a good introduction to Mick Muscles to attack Nicky Champion as he was looking to deliver the Hawkeye Hammer, ending the match in DQ.

Nicky Champion © defeated Danny Rushmore in 6.22 by DQ to retain the USPW National Title (C-)

Muscles picked up Nicky Champion and slammed him to the mat, before grabbing the National Title. He stared at the title, and then threw it over the youngster ©

Backstage, Paige Croft interviewed Bruce the Giant and Jumbo Jackson. She asked Bruce how it felt to team up with yet another partner, but he said that it did not matter. Last week he proved himself to be dominant in the ring, and any partner would be glad of his ability. Jackson couldn’t deny this, but he said that he was in the Main Event in his own right, and would be looking to make a mark on Caulfield (B-)

Match #5: Enygma vs Peter Valentine

http://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/Enygma.jpghttp://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/USPW_Declaration-1.jpghttp://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/PeterValentine.jpg

A return to our first ever Main Event booked, this time moved one place down the card. Same result this time, with Enygma submitting Valentine with the Enygma Variation.

Enygma defeated Peter Valentine in 8.25 (C-)

Caulfield and Justice cut a pre-match promo, with Caulfield pointing out how they’ve teamed up on many occasion before, and work well together. Justice said that although Bruce the Giant was the man standing strong last week that just made him a bigger target – one he intended on bringing down tonight (B-)

Match #6: Chris Caulfield and James Justice vs Jumbo Jackson and Bruce the Giant

http://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/ChrisCaulfield_alt1.jpg & http://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/Liberty.jpghttp://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/USPW_Declaration-1.jpghttp://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/JumboJackson.jpg & http://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/BrucetheGiant.jpg

Pleased with the result of this match – although I should be expecting C+’s from my Main Events, more than often I end up with a C. Another slugfest, with Bruce the Giant swinging the momentum in the heels favour every time he entered the ring. However, it was Jumbo Jackson who got the win for his team, pinning Caulfield cleanly after a Jumbo Avalanche.

Jumbo Jackson and Bruce the Giant defeated Chris Caulfield and James Justice in 10.03 (C+)

Overall Rating C

jesseewiak gets the win with 4/6, proving this to be one of my more unpredictable TV shows. The win came due to correctly predicting that the power of The Titan's outmatches The Force in the opener, while no-one got Cherry Bomb upsetting the bosses daughter or the heels winning in the Main Event.

Solid show, although probably not enough Tyson Baine. Bruce the Giant has established himself as a genuine title threat, although Chris Caulfield was less than impressed with the result of the Main Event.

Joanne Rodriguez decides that now is a good time to change her style from a regular wrestler to that of a Japanese Junior. Not enjoying USPW then?

USPW American Wrestling:

Live from the Tri State

Pre Show: Tyson Baine defeated Tribal Warrior (C, despite not clicking)

The show opened with the commentary team hyping the Main Event, which would pit the three challengers to Tyson Baine’s World Heavyweight Title against one another. Starr declared it to be a huge match, with Jillefski adding that someone would be looking to gain a huge momentum boost into Americaca next week (B+)

Match #1: Andre Jones © vs Al Coleman for the USPW Television Title

Yes, you saw that correctly – Andre Jones just defended his Television Title. And Darryl Devine helped him turn out victorious.

Andre Jones © defeated Al Coleman in 6.12 to retain the USPW Television Title (D+)

The People’s Team came out, noting that Jones was unable to retain his title without Devine’s help, and that was just fine by them. However, on Monday there would be no gaining the numbers advantage – it would be two on two, and that’s when “Team Sublime” would be found out (D+)

Match #2: Java vs Jack Griffith

http://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/Java.jpghttp://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/USPW_Declaration-1.jpghttp://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/JackGriffith.jpg

This match was meant to be longer, by had to be shortened due to timings in the rest of the show. Tribal Warrior and T-Rex were out, but there was some surprise when Peter Valentine and Giant Redwood came out and beatdown Java’s partner. That left Java outnumbered in the ring, and with T-Rex doing the distracting (somewhere along the line someone thought it was a good idea to not let Redwood do that) Valentine hit a low blow allowing Griffith to hit the Jack in the Box.

Jack Griffith defeated Java in 4.25 (D)

A Java beatdown soon followed, with Griffith taking a mic to declare Savage Fury’s bark worse than their bike. He challenged them to find a partner for next week – as he’d be waiting with Redwood and Valentine for them (C-)

Raven Robinson and Cherry Bomb cut a pre-match interview, ripping into Commissioner Doom’s “creative” match making. However, they did agree that they had to work together tonight – and perhaps it would help them at Americana (C-)

Match #3: Raven Robinson and Cherry Bomb vs Gorgon and Joanne Rodriguez

http://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/RavenNightfall_alt2.jpg & http://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/CherryBomb_alt2.jpghttp://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/USPW_Declaration-1.jpghttp://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/Gorgon.jpg & http://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/JoanneRodriguez_alt1.jpg

My women’s division is still not fully delivering… although perhaps not involving two of the most talented women’s wrestlers in this feud may have something to do with it. Robinson and Gorgon brawled outside the ring, but it allowed Cherry Bomb to hit the Cherry Popper on J-Ro for the victory.

Raven Robinson and Cherry Bomb defeated Gorgon and Joanne Rodriguez in 7.38 (D)

James Justice hyped the Main Event, telling the world that he would only be happy with the win as he went towards Americana. Enygma came in on the interview to tell Justice that it would be every man for themselves out there – no two versus one, no sides – and no chance of anyone but him picking up the victory. Another entry… but it was not Bruce, but Tyson Baine. Baine said that he didn’t care who won – he was going to enjoy watching the three of them kick lumps out of one another – and he said he’d make sure that damage was done (B)

Match #4: Champion Force vs The Towers of Power

http://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/NickyChampion_alt.jpg & http://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/JimForce.jpghttp://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/USPW_Declaration-1.jpghttp://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/DannyRushmore.jpg & http://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/MickMuscles.jpg

A competitive match, with The Towers of Power showing their experience together that kept them up with their more glamorous opponents. Still, a second clean match of the night was not going to happen and it was T-Rex who came out, jumping up to the ring apron to distract The Force. The Force punched him from the apron, but walked straight into a Muscles Slam, and as Rushmore took Champion out Muscles made the pin with help from the ropes. Should have been the pre-Main Event.

The Towers of Power defeated Champion Force in 8:52 ©

As The Towers of Power headed backstage, The Force took a mic and told T-Rex that he didn’t get away with it that easily. He challenged Rex to come into the ring, where the two no-selled punches with one another. T-Rex changed tactics and charged in at The Force, but he levered him over the ropes before celebrating in the ring (B-)

Sam Strong and Savage Fury came across Anger backstage, with Strong asking Anger to partner his colleagues at Americana. Anger tried to suggest that he has retired, but Strong convinced him to take part on one last match ©

Match #5: Chris Caulfield vs John Pathlow

http://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/ChrisCaulfield_alt1.jpghttp://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/USPW_Declaration-1.jpghttp://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/HellMonkey_alt2-1.jpg

I should keep faith – in fact this might end up outperforming the Main Event. Caulfield’s overness and Pathlow’s natural talent made this a great encounter. Caulfield was on top for most of it, but Pathlow (cough *Hell Monkey* cough) was made to look dangerous, even getting in a couple of near pins. He wasn’t going over Caulfield here though, falling to the Danger Drop.

Chris Caulfield defeated John Pathlow in 6.24 (C+)

Jumbo Jackson came out sarcastically applauding Caulfield. He said that if Caulfield was going to struggle like that against Pathlow, what was he going to do against him? Caulfield hyped up Pathlow as a legitimate threat – one who didn’t think too much of himself like Jackson (B-)

Backstage, Bruce the Giant interviewed Paige Croft… wait, that… damned. Well, it’ll up Croft’s overness. Let’s sell it as… Bruce wanting to know more about Croft. Turns out she likes the larger man. Oh er missus (D)

Match #6: James Justice vs Enygma vs Bruce the Giant

http://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/Liberty.jpghttp://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/USPW_Declaration-1.jpghttp://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/Enygma.jpghttp://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/USPW_Declaration-1.jpghttp://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/BrucetheGiant.jpg

Strange one this one – I wanted this to be a draw, but Enygma refused. He was happy to do the job, but didn’t want that a draw. Odd - I thought he’d be into this Sports Entertainment finish stuff. Instead we had Tyson Baine come out, acting as a lumberjack to anyone who left the ring. Generally the wrestlers fought back before quickly entering the ring, but Bruce the Giant was having none of it. He fought Baine back up towards the entranceway, before they took one another out with a double charge. That allowed the attention to turn back to the ring with Enygma hitting the Enygma Cutter on Justice, and getting the three count. I’ve just pandered to Enygma’s whinges when I didn’t need to. Shucks.

Enygma defeated James Justice and Bruce the Giant in 10.22 (C+)

As Enygma celebrated the two monster outside the ring recovered, and started fighting again. As Baine rested against a wall, Bruce charged in, smashing Baine through the wall with both men disappearing as the show ended (B+)!

Overall Rating C

5/6 for Dragonmack and BHK1978 - no-one guessed that The Towers of Power could overcome Champion Force, but it was the upset of the night

C!?! Too much time building up Savage Fury’s match, and Bruce the Giant interviewing Paige Croft – a mistake I won’t be making again. The Main Event did come in as the fourth best rated match ever, with Caulfield / Pathlow being an unexpected gem that fell outside the Top 10.

USPW Americana

Live from the South East on PPV

Pre-Show: Kicks From Hell defeated The Hillbillys (D+), Danny Rushmore defeated Al Coleman (C-)

We set the production crew the task of putting together a video hyping the Main Event, and they succeeded – it helps that there were some spectacular shots of Tyson Baine and Bruce the Giant crashing through a wall (B+)

Match #1: The People’s Team © vs Team Sublime for the USPW Tag Team Titles

http://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/USPW_Tag.jpg

http://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/FreddieDatsun.jpg & http://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/DesDavids.jpghttp://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/USPW_Declaration-1.jpghttp://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/DarrylDevine_alt1.jpg & http://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/AndreJones.jpg

We opened the show with the best match this year between two genuine tag teams, and it was a match that saw a title change. Seduction distracted Freddie Datsun, allowing Andre Jones to hit the Blast from the Past to pick up the titles.

Team Sublime defeated The People’s Team © in 10.57 to win the USPW Tag Team Titles ©

Team Sublime celebrated their upset win in the ring, with Andre Jones holding up both his title belts (D+)

After the new tag champions left Belle Bryden came down, asking Alicia Strong is she had considered her challenge. It seems she had, as she came out in wrestling gear (C-)

Match #2: Alicia Strong vs Belle Bryden

http://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/AliciaStrong.jpghttp://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/USPW_Declaration-1.jpghttp://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/BelleBryden.jpg

Another decent match, which well exceeds both women’s overness (I had somehow managed to let Strong’s slip to E+). A strong encounter that showed off both Women’s skills, which was ended by Strong hitting the Strong Arm Tactic.

Alicia Strong defeated Belle Bryden in 8.24 ©

Backstage the new tag champions cut an interview led by Seduction, who declared that Team Sublime were ready to dominate USPW, and were looking to add further titles to their collection of Tag Team and National belts (D+)

Cut to Enygma, who was the first of the title challengers to hype the Main Event. He said that the more Bruce the Giant and Tyson Baine continue to concentrate on one another, the more likely it will be that he or James Justice takes the win in the ring (B+)

Match #3: Savage Fury and Anger vs Jack Griffith, Peter Valentine & Giant Redwood

http://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/TribalWarrior.jpg & http://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/Java.jpg & http://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/DemonAnger.jpg

http://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/USPW_Declaration-1.jpg

http://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/JackGriffith.jpg & http://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/PeterValentine.jpg & http://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/GiantRedwood.jpg

Not surprised at all to see the quality take a hit here… and, in fact, to think that anyone actually paid to see this match may be insulting the USPW fans. Not a lot of talent, and the heels fairly dominated, with Griffith pinning Anger after a Jack in the Box.

Jack Griffith, Peter Valentine & Giant Redwood defeated Savage Fury and Anger in 7.48 (D)

The Force was out first for the following match, demanding that Jack Griffith left. Griffith agreed, which allowed The Force to turn his attention on T-Rex, telling the monster that he had put him down before when he was new to USPW – and he wouldn’t be getting out of his way now (B-)

Match #4: The Force vs T-Rex

http://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/JimForce.jpghttp://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/USPW_Declaration-1.jpghttp://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/T-Rex_alt1.jpg

I got Sam Strong to script this match for the two participants, which is why, perhaps, that the two actually managed to occasionally sell for one another. However, the greatest surprise for me was the two working very well together in the ring, and putting on a decent match. The Force refused to tap to the Jurassic Crush, but fell to consecutive power slams.

T-Rex defeated The Force in 8.04 (C-)

James Justice was next on Main Event hype, pointing out that despite all the talent in the ring tonight, all it would take was a quick three count and the title could change hands just like that. It wasn’t just about being on top of the match – it was about being in the right place at the right time. And Justice was always in the right place to deliver (B+)

Match #5: Gorgon © vs Raven Robinson vs Cherry Bomb for the USPW Women’s Title

http://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/USPW_Womens.jpg

http://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/Gorgon.jpghttp://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/USPW_Declaration-1.jpghttp://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/RavenNightfall_alt2.jpghttp://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/USPW_Declaration-1.jpghttp://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/CherryBomb_alt2.jpg

I wasn’t too surprised that this match was outperformed by the first Women’s match, but Gorgon will be moving on from these two. Raven Robinson will be moving onto the woman who cost her the title, J-Ro, as her interference once more caused her to be pinned by the champion.

Gorgon © defeated Raven Robinson and Cherry Bomb in 7.44 to retain the USPW Women’s Title (D+)

Jack Griffith hyped up Tyson Baine, telling him that victory in the Main Event would complete a clean sweep for the most dominant group in USPW, when Sam Strong came over to them. He told Griffith that if he saw him or T-Rex involved in the Main Event tonight, there would be consequences to be had (B-)

Match #6: Nicky Champion © vs Mick Muscles for the USPW National Title

http://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/USPW_National.jpg

http://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/NickyChampion_alt.jpghttp://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/USPW_Declaration-1.jpghttp://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/MickMuscles.jpg

Although Danny Rushmore was at ringside for this match, it proved to be a clean (and relatively long) affair, with Champion picking up the win after a Hawkeye Hammer.

Nicky Champion © defeated Mick Muscles in 10.41 to retain the USPW National Title (D+)

Chris Caulfield came out for the semi-Main Event… but instead of Jumbo Jackson it was Shane Sneer who came out next. He started extolling the virtues of his client, which led to Caulfield grabbing a mic and demanding where his opponent was. It turned out he was sneaking through the crowd to jump Caulfield from behind before the match (C+)

Match #7: Chris Caulfield vs Jumbo Jackson

http://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/ChrisCaulfield_alt1.jpghttp://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/USPW_Declaration-1.jpghttp://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/JumboJackson.jpg

For a show that started extremely well, it’s started to fall flat. An even contest, with Shane Sneer doing everything in his power to help his client. However, it wasn’t to be, with Caulfield hitting the Danger Drop for the win.

Chris Caulfield defeated Jumbo Jackson in 10.49 (D+)

As Caulfield celebrated Jackson snapped, beating down the victor and hitting a Jumbo Avalanche before storming from the ring (B-)

Backstage Paige Croft interviewed Bruce the Giant… and she was doing the interviewing this time. Phew. Bruce declared that he was unaffected by his unscheduled trip through a wall, when Tyson Baine joined the interview. The two giants squared up with one another, with Paige Croft slowly backing away (B+)

Match #8: Tyson Baine © vs James Justice vs Enygma vs Bruce the Giant for the USPW World Heavyweight Title

http://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/USPW_World.jpg

http://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/TysonBaine.jpghttp://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/USPW_Declaration-1.jpghttp://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/Liberty.jpghttp://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/USPW_Declaration-1.jpghttp://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/Enygma.jpghttp://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/USPW_Declaration-1.jpghttp://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu230/eayragt/USPW%2010/BrucetheGiant.jpg

If anyone was expecting a clean match after Sam Strong’s admonishment earlier, they were unfortunately mistaken. Jack Griffith, T-Rex, Peter Valentine and Giant Redwood were all out after the ref was taken out, and although Sam Strong and Savage Fury tried to apply some order, they weren't in the least successful. The uncontrolled brawl ended after Baine hit a Hades Bomb on Enygma for the win, as Justice was barely concious outside the ring and Bruce the Giant fought with Peter Valentine and Giant Redwood.

Tyson Baine © defeated Enygma, James Justice and Bruce the Giant in 14.16 to retain the USPW World Heavyweight Title ©

Overall Rating C

Buy rate 0.58

Dragonmack gets the convincing win with 7/8 - the only predictor to get above 50% of the predictions correct. No-one predicted the change in Tag Champions, with Andre Jones becoming a double champion.

After that start, the show will have to be considered a disappointment. And to top it off Marc Speed wrestled for USPW… in a C+ rated match in defeat to Fumihiro Ota. Next up on PPV its Independence Day Slam – one of USPW’s big two. The Main Event has been planned for months, but will it deliver?

And no, Americana wasn’t one of my Top 10 events of the last five months.

Announced for USPW American Wrestling:

Team Sublime © vs Shoot Club for the USPW Tag Team Titles

April Appleseed vs Joanne Rodriguez

Chris Caulfield vs Jared Johnson

The People’s Team vs The Towers of Power

James Justice vs T-Rex

Enygma vs Jack Griffith
