Yeah, but obviously he came up with the e-fed character name himself too
ya_its_me
Not to burst your bubble, but lots of random generated names for teams and shows are music references. Try to find em all! At that time I was a huuuuuuge Metallica fan so that one stuck with me the most.
D-Lyrium
Can't believe I've only just noticed this one... Rayne Man's real name is Gregory Henn. Almost certainly named for renowned American actor Gregory Peck. It might just be a strange coincidence, except that Peck's most famous role was as Atticus Finch in the film adaptation of To Kill A Mockingbird, which already has several references in the C-Verse (Jeremy 'Scout' Finch, Boo Smithson (Radley), etc). scorpion
I know this has been mentioned before but I'm watching Being Human on netflix and they make a reference to 'Randall and Hopkirk.' Being american i don't always get the british references but this one stood out.

NWO4until01
3 linked references in top-to-bottom order of how likely they are in being correct... which isnt to say its highly likely, but anyway... Ronny De Veuster = St Damien of Molokai (born Joseph De Veuster) DeVeers Pavillion in Hawaii (on Molokai) is also connected to St Damien with DeVeers being somewhat Belgian sounding, which is St Damien's birthplace and loosely connected to his surname, "De". leprosy sufferers were isolated on molokai. leprosy and milk were historically thought to be connected, hence Molokai Milk. scorpion
It goes back much further than that http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Randall_and_Hopkirk_(Deceased) oh i know. but its one thing to be told that a show exists, quite another to have it referenced in something you are watching

D-Lyrium
Tbh I only realised when I went looking for other possible TKAM references. ¬_¬ It's one of those that might not be intentional but definitely fits.
Teh_Showtime
Well I noticed Scout because I play TCW most of the time.
Thebluguy
I do believe Kate Lilly is a lost reference,Kate on the show was played by Evangeline Lilly. I suppose it could be coincidence but its the only reference I've noticed that I can think of which hasn't been mentioned in this or the '08 thread so.. lazorbeak
Bringing this back up because I don't think anybody's mentioned it. Maybe I'm just imagining things after playing Arkham City, but AAA graduate "Talia Quinzel" certainly seems to have some Batman connections. Wallbanger
There's a future worker named Gypsy Rose which I figure is a nod to Gypsy Rose Lee/the musical 'Gypsy'...
Rayelek
In regards to the (many) Billy Robinson comments, could that also be a reference to Lost In Space? "Danger Will Robinson!"
