LoganRodzen
Been wondering about this myself. I haven't done any special guest referee matches at all in fear of the match tanking because of poor ref skills. I would assume it could add a bonus with a worker who has high popularity. Greg McNeish
I've used guest refs a few times, but very sparingly. I've never noticed a change in the match ratings, compared to what those same workers normally get. I think having a non-Referee just eliminates any bonuses or penalties for refereeing, because the crowd basically expects there to be flubs, so they overlook them. Granted, this is all experience from previous TEWs, as I haven't tried it yet in 2010.

I want to use a special guest referee in my main event next week for "Rapid Assault"; however, am afraid that their involvement would hurt the overall match rating. Hmmmmm.... I wouldn't think so, or else, such a scenario wouldn't really be offered. Ya know?

Boltinho
I had a night where unexpectedly my only ref was unavailable so we had guest refs for every match. They went quite well with the bonus overriding the penalty, until after 2 or 3, I got a message saying the crowd were fed up with all the guest refs... Scorpio3060
I used one of my main eventers as a special referee and the dirt sheet did not give me any negative feedback. Although it also did not give me anything positive.

BHK1978
I can understand the reasoning for this as people would expect the guest ref to be bad. However, I get ticked when I have an actual ref who is bad bring down my match rating.
