wareagle Posted November 28, 2005 Share Posted November 28, 2005 Going into the league championship games I had a strange occurrance. ACC game is between #1 Virginia Tech and #2 Florida State. (Odd enough in itself) Florida State wins the Game 41-38 and the polls still have Virginia Tech #1 and Florida State #2. So now it appears the National Championship game is a repeat of this even though USC, Ohio State, and Pitt are 3-4-5 with one loss as well and USC and Ohio State with a stronger Strength of schedule than Virgina Tech. They remained #3, and I remained #9. #2 Texas that week also lost to an unranked team, and remained #2. This is the coaches poll, although the computer wasn't too fair about this either as I recall.
