Hoos
Is there any way to differentiate the current ability of a recruit from his future potential. (ie. be able to determine a player that could step on the field right away from a guy who is a project but might have huge upside)
Tim Plum
a player is listed with 2 numbers 3.0/5.0 as an example the first number is current level the second is projected talent level, so a 1.0/3.5 would probably be redshirted
Hoos
Once recruiting is finished and the player is on your roster you have the 1.0/3.0 rating system, but what about during recruiting? There might be 2 5-star RB's that i am recruiting... can i tell if one is more prepared for the college game as a freshman than the other or am I just guessing? (ie. I manage to get both of them to sign with my school. After recruiting I see that Player A is 1.0/5.0 and Player B is 2.5/5.0. Were there any clues that one would have a higher current rating than the other while I was recruiting them?)
