Adam Ryland
Download Above is the file converter, which takes TEW data files and makes appropriate WreSpi files. You MUST read the instructions that accompany the file carefully, or you will end up with problems.

Rick Arnold
I answered my first question, but I have a new 'error'. It transfers everything over alright, except Birth Year. Since my Database is set in the year of 1983, I figured that all the ages of the workers from the TEW DB would be subtract from 1983 and not 2004. No biggie, just gotta go through and edit it all. D-Lyrium
I noticed that, too. Everyone I've seen so far in the WreSpi database is the same age as they were last year I don't think it would be that hard to implement into the game, so maybe Adam'll do it before release? It's done from 2004 as the converter is independent of database date. If you want, send me your files and I'll convert the dates manually for you, as it'll only take me a matter of minutes, as oppose to quite a long time for you doing in manually. xpwowner
Ok I did everything it said to do with the converter and it works fine...only problem is im trying the game out with the Trial Version...And I went the FULL 4 weeks of the trial with NO match...Is that supposed to happen...I never even got to play a match and this is has happened 2 out of 2 times
Purple Cowboy
This should be in general questions but you're starting out a rookie to legend career (I hope?!)? You have to apply to different federations - no one is going to approach you if they don't know who you are so you have to initiate contact. Some will offer you a trial match. Mostly you will get a couple of pay-per-appearance matches.
xpwowner
Already did all that...Had a contract the first day...with my fed that i created on TEW...they had only one show and i never had a match...when i signed with them...they said i would make a great main eventer yet never booked me in a match
Adam Ryland
Not getting booked on the one show they did is hardly cause for alarm, you won't be on every show. Simply do another career, and you're likely to get a match eventually.
xpwowner
Ok cool just concerned me cause i used to get matches then i converted the files and stopped getting matches...just had to make sure that didnt make a difference so i can now buy the game thanks bro...Also...Do we have to change ALL the move list our self or will there be a movelist modification coming out
Adam Ryland
I'm not sure what you mean by a move set modifier? There's nothing in TEW equivelant to a WreSpi move set, so there's nothing to import\convert. You can import the database from the CornellVerse via the Import control if that's what you want. Rick Arnold
Is there any reason why the Converter doesn't convert all the contracts or a worker's Physical status either? I noticed that it only converts a worker's first contract, and none of the rest. Again, not a huge problem, as I have to go through it all anyways and add and edit stuff as is. Adam Ryland
Just uploaded a new version that does both the things you asked.
Bryce Leah
Okay, I might not be getting this all straight, but this means you could convert any TEW files to WreSpi? Like any stat update? Real world?
The_Joel
Um my converter keeps giveing me the error !!! Error, Belt.fis Missing, Process Terminated. Where is this belt file
Adam Ryland
Follow the instructions given. belt.fis is created when you create a new WreSpi database, and you should be working in that folder.
Flasch186
ill be waiting on someone to post a full database with everything, as evidenced by my earlier posts regarding my minimal attempts to adjust the database that resulted in crashes to desktop.....so patiently i wait.
