wareagle
Can somebody explain how the rivalry listing works in the psats file For example : Miami has Florida State listed as its rival (week 0) Florida State has Florida listed as its rival (week 15) Florida has florida State listed as its rival (week 15) By this I understand that : 1) Florida and Florida State will play every year always in week 15 alternating home/away 2) Miami will play Florida State every year but in possibly changing weeks every year. a) Will home/away always alternate on the Miami/FSU Game? b) How is it decided what week it will be played? c) If I change the pstats file for the Miami rivalry week to say 3, will that force the Miami & FSU schedule for week 3 every year, still alternating home/away? Azamien
Miami and FSU are both in the ACC now, aren't they? So that's why it'll vary. The scheduling is done by the conference instead of the schools.
wareagle
Actually being in the same conference is irrelevant. Auburn-Georgia always Saturday before final game of the season Auburn Rival is Alabama Alabama-Tennessee always the first saturday in October Alabama Rival is Auburn Auburn plays Georgia every year as well as Alabama always playing Tennessee every year despite them not being "primary" rivals
