Have you ever created a "glacier"

I signed Johnny Stamboli and put him under his Rellik mask and built him up via promos for close to a year and he flopped miserably. Couldn't have a passable match with ANYONE. Which was a shame, his rumble skills were quite good.

Do you happen to be Vince Russo...cause I'm pretty sure this actually happened.

Nope, but I was trying do what Russo and TNA failed to do with him. I was attempting to turn him into a monster that just destroys everyone. Plus, I've always been a huge Stamboli fan, so I wanted to give him a shot at being more than the stereotypical Italian like he usually plays.

If I actually run a lot of hype angles for a guy, I always end up using him in some way, but 'Snarf The Clown' jumps out at me from one of my CGC games in TEW08. Whippy The Clown was one of my top guys, and I brought in Barry Kingman to play his arch-nemesis. The anti-Whippy. In my mind, he was this awesome character, capable of great things. In the game, he was terrible, completely unable to build overness in what few skits I managed to give him, and his matches with Whippy were lackluster at best. After getting trounced decisively, I couldn't think of anything for him to do, so he jobbed a bit then I fired him.

In case you're feeling sorry for Barry, I did eventually bring him back as 'Shooter Barry Kingman'. His team with Shooter Sean main evented quite a few PPV's if I recall, so he got a happy ending, even if 'Snarf' didn't.

The Kipper in my RAW game. I've always like the guy, and thanks to some good chemistry with a couple of my top heels he managed to get enough overness and momentum on his side that I decided to go with it. I repackaged him as the new local face badass, giving him a dominant push straight up to the Upper Midcard. In January of 2011, it culminated with him defeating Echo for the RAW Pacific title (my created midcard belt).

As soon as he won that belt, everything seemed to change. What should've been a huge midcard feud between him and The Master Minds fizzled, most notably the stuff on his end. He couldn't maintain his momentum and his popularity started to bleed off, while in the meantime The Master Minds were actually getting more over. With The Kipper now struggling to stay above Lower Midcard again, I went ahead and had him drop the strap to Quiz Master after just a lowly four month title run.

Originally, I had planned for his Pacific title victory to eventually help elevate (and keep) him in the upper reaches of the card, so I could finally take advantage of their chemistry by having a huge feud between him and Rahmel Goode. Instead, The Kipper can now look forward to being a midcard nobody for a few months until (or possibly even if) I try to build him back up again.

I am sure I have done this before but can't really think of any real stand out situation or game where it was really aparent that I did it. But like I said I am sure I have because I bet everyone has done it with someone without even trying to do so.

I thought I killed Kirk Jameson and Joss Thompson, picked them up a year into the game and after a year of solo they were both still at the bottom. Coudn't move them no matter the story. I put them in a team and gave them a few wins and the straps and now they're shooting up to upper mids. And this is in a promo with half my roster WWE stars the rest Cornellverse.

Playing WCW in the Montreal Aftermath mod...Started to feel bad for some of my underused midcard guys, so I had Savage, feuding with DDP, form a stable called The Madness with Hugh Morris and Bryan Clarke.

It completely tanked. Morris and Clarke were so terrible they actually pulled Savage's popularity waaay down, and he was my primary heel!

It's just impossible. If you try, you will fail. Kidman proved this many times on Nitro.

Impressive! I may need to watch some old Kidman matches.

Remember when WWE made him sit in the crowd and watch Smackdown? I thought they could have booked him as a good heel based on that short build up but they dropped the ball. :(

I always delete every narrative in real world mods except for Savage's rap album coming out. I don't want to live in a world where that doesn't happen.
