I can't be the only curious as to how this year's FIFA is going to play with an engine that has only really ever been used for like Battlefield (Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong), right?

WWE 2K16 is 13€ right now on GMG. The content is probably worth the money. But is it worth the time? Note that I wasn't the biggest fan of 15 and 14 and before, to put it mildly.

Dishonored is fun...at first. It's insanely repetitive and the storyline is meh. By the end of the game I only finished it because I hate leaving games unfinished.

 

I found Dishonored to be great fun, along with the expansions. Fun and engaging story with interesting mechanics to support it. Bring on some more, I say!

You'd be surprised how versatile the really good engines can be.

I found Dishonored to be great fun, along with the expansions. Fun and engaging story with interesting mechanics to support it. Bring on some more, I say!

 

And the expansion was really worth it, with the side story. And you can think of THE choice you've made in the original game.

 

The only downside is that you can't really unleash your power, because the end game will suffer from it

<p>I picked up Forza Horizon 2 a few weeks ago when it was on sale and I found it to be excellent. The graphics are great and it's a great balance between great handling and fun gameplay. I had a hard time getting into previous Forza games, but for whatever reason I played the crap out of this one.</p><p> </p><p>

UNTIL I got Ark: Survival Evolved. Haha. Holy crap did that game suck up my life. I DLed the preview on XB1 and fell in love. I've just been messing around with single player on super easy settings. But it's a great little game already and it's not even done. $35 is a LITTL steep for an indy game, but I think as fans of GDS games we can all agree sometimes those indy games can be amazing experiences.</p>

Anyone else give I Am Setsuna a shot yet? Played around with it a bit and love the setting and the intentional Chrono Trigger vibe is off the charts.

 

I would cry from pure joy if Square let the Tokyo RPG Factory tackle a remake of Chrono Trigger.

 

Anyone that enjoys SNES era of JRPGs should definitely check it out.

There's multiple resolution options. Not at home so I don't know them off the top of my head. I'm using the smallest resolution since my laptop isn't exactly state of the art and the text is really easy to read.

 

The vibe I'm getting from the game is Chrono Trigger meets Final Fantasy X.

I also dismissed the latest Thief very soon. Stealth just isn't my thing (just like subtlety isn't my thing ).

 

To be fair, the last Thief was awful. ¬_¬

 

But the original games are great.

Forza Horizon 3 is about the only game I'm looking forward to on the Xbox One. I couldn't get into Halo V, even though I've had fun playing Halo Anniversary on split-screen.

 

I finally bought another game at launch. Little did I know last week was release day for EDF 4.1! The game is so awesome I can't even begin to describe it. Usually I like my games deep and complex, but this one just hits a spot deep inside me. And the new features! You can make your guy sing the EDF song on the lyrics to "when Johnny comes marching home". Oh glory hallelujah! It's cheapest at kinguin for about 25€. I heartily recommend it. Funny how I think Halo is repetitive, though this game is a lot more repetitive, yet I cannot grow tired of it. It's one of those unexplainable things.

 

I skipped the cheap WWE2k16 because it's probably just crap anyway. And the new one is coming out.

Oh, come on. The game has received several patches and is really quite awesome. Some still think Undisputed 3 is better but there's no denying the ground game is incredibly well done. It's just the striking that's still a little off, but I'm having fun with it.

Slow menus ? Lots of loading ? are we talking about the same game ?

 

I have, like 1 sec of loadings when i go into something (like the career) and the only loading after that is for the fight.

Don't play fallout 4 on Xbox One if the loadings of UFC bother you

 

We'll just have to agree to disagree on UFC 2. I didnt play the multiplayer so can't comment on that but I found the rest dull. I can remember waiting while the 'Fight Offers' was grayed out while it was loading them in.

 

It felt like a shell of a game which is a shame because the fights felt good

Career is basically the other modes in quick succession (well... not that quick), with Goldberg making a few references to your career. Once you gained LVL5 at some moves or traits you're already retired. Plus you face CaF's for over half the time. Loading is especially tedious if you want to save changes to your user character (good god that takes ages). And don't forget the AI of the vanilla game was pretty crappy. It's ok now though. Overall the game is good, especially compared to the crap devs release nowadays. I actually expected it to be worse.</p><p> </p><p> You can already preorder batman, but there's still so much time until the last chapter so I'd wait.</p>

I agree with you, after choosing a fight i can wait 5-10 seconds before the training, but it's not always, so don't know why.</p><p> As for the multiplayer, same thing, i haven't played it.</p>

Wow the new Batman is a laggy mess. The speech is off and it makes me feel like I am watching a poorly dubbed 1970's Kung-fu movie. The story might be great but I cannot enjoy something that I can hardly play.
