She Nay Nay & Jesse "Bonesaw" Crook vs. Rayna Von Tash & Jamilia Craft

The crowd, Rayna and Craft were shocked as She Nay Nay declared her partner was a former student of Daizee Hazes. The new addition to the locker room is the very green Jesse Crook. The match was quite even but due to underhanded tactics the heels (Crook and Nay Nay) picked up the win. Will this win push Nay Nay up the card and out of Sparkle? Or will Rayna and Jamilia fight back to even the scores?

Before the preshow Sparkle had ended, from the back walked a confident Saraya Knight. She grabbed the microphone off of Joey Eastman before pushing him back into his seat. Knight enters the ring with a sinister smile widening across her face and she begins to talk.

You people might not know me, but I'm a legend of this here ring! I've wrestled more matches than you've all had hot dinners. But I'm here for one thing and one thing only. As you lot saw on Volume 33, my daughter, the great Britani Knight defeated that Greek yokel Blue Nikita. Well I'm giving those two or Jessie McKay a chance to go one on one with!..Me! That's right! They get to step into the ring with a bonifide legend! But they have to prove who has what it takes, so tonight they'll meet in a three way dance!

The ever charismatic and egotistical Knight leaves the ring even more confident than when she left.

Diamond Divas vs. Sarah Jones & Roxi

In a match that was bumped up to the main show, the debuting Brits took it to the Diamond Divas and took the victory. The match ended as Roxi took Diamond down with a strong looking Swinging Neck breaker followed up by a beautiful standing moonsault from Jones who picks up a pin fall victory. After the match however, Jones and Roxi were standing looking down the aisle signalling they were going after the belts.

Britani Knight vs. Blue Nikita vs. Jessie McKay

With the intense rivalry between the Knights and Nikita, this match helped to intensify the feud within Shimmer. However the biggest surprise of the match, came when all finishing moves by all three women on one another, after a vicious Tornado DDT from the top rope to McKay and finally pinning her to win the match. Britani Knight is now able to take on Saraya Knight on Shimmer Volume 36.

Daffney vs. MsChif

This match was had terrible wrestling but great brawling. The finish came as Daffney moved into bite the head of MsChif, but eats a mouth full of the green mist. The mist was followed up by MsChifs patented Desecrator onto a chair. However there was blood on show during the match as an earlier attempt to bite the forehead of Chif sucseded.

Sara Del Rey & La Nikita Noir vs. Ariel & Mercedes Martinez

In a hotly anticipated match, two previous victims of Del Rey’s Butterfly lock unite to fight two common enemies. However from the outset there was a lack of unity from the diva and the Death Rey but they overcame those differences. Whenever Ariel was in the ring however Sara was dominant and it was only when Mercedes got into the mix that Sara was brought down to the mat. After the match however as Del Rey tried to destroy the leg of Ariel with a grape vine ankle lock; Nikita tried to powder the nose of Sara. This annoyed the former Shimmer champion who snapped smashing a small mirror across the face of Ariel.

Rebecca Knox vs. Allison Danger

In the second meeting since her return, the K-Nox took it to Danger in a 23 minute match. However the finish came as both women chain wrestled for a good 5 minutes until they broke it and tried to run of the ropes and clothesline each other. However after such a gruelling match neither woman could make it to their feet to make the count out. Both of the women garnered a standing ovation from the crowd in attendance.

Kellie Skater vs. Nikki Roxx

This match was terrible, not only was Roxx working through an injury but Skater was off of her game. She was botchy and inconsistent. However Roxx picked up the win with her Barbie Crusher and earned a shot at the Shimmer champion on volume 36.

The main event of the evening came as the Shimmer Championship was up for grabs. The match finished with a disqualification for the champion, when Eagles used two illegal holds and was only warned for one; the West cost native Melissa snapped and assaulted the referee. However due to the disqualification Melissa retained her title. But the feud seems to be boiling over as Eagles slapped the referee in the face before spitting in Melissa’s.

The Shimmer Office today revealed in a press release of a new working agreement between themselves and PWWA (Professional Womens Wrestling Alliance). In the release it stated that most of the Shimmer talent roster would be available for a show during each quarter of the year. The first show has been announced for August 9th 2010. The matches announced so far are as followed:

The Canadian Ninjas vs. Vixsin & Penni Lane

This match saw good action and interaction between the Canadian Ninjas and the crowd. However the performance of Vixsin left alot to be desired. The Ninjas picked up the win with a "Dudley Device" -esque move.

Rebecca Knox vs. Sway

This was a good back and forth match and the finish came as Allison Danger had enough of Rebecca Knox's cheating. However the distraction wasn't enough as Knox caught sway in a Boston Crab, using the ropes right in front of Danger, Knox picked up the win.

This was a terrible match between the two veterans. The finish of the match was a sketchy looking Swan dive Headbutt to Hamada. Despite the terrible performance of both women, the crowd were still in high hopes for the following two matches.

Madison Eagles vs. Sarah Stock

One of the most anticipated matches of the night came to fruition and it didn't dissapoint as Eagles and Stock took it all over the arena. This match featured both good brawling and high flying moves. Eagles finished the match with a devastating clothesline which almost beheaded the Canadian.

This match was used as a stepping stone for Jessie McKay and the PWWA title, it was used to improve her standing within the company. However this also helped Kellie Skater in improving her brawling skills. The finish of the match came as Madison Eagles after being victorious in the match before, cam from the back and distracted the Shimmer champion allowing Kellie Skater to lock in her Skate Or Destroy submission. This gave McKay the opportunity to leap off of the top rope and double leg drop both women. McKay picked up a pinfall victory over Kellie Skater.

It shows Saraya advising her daughter to do whatever it takes to win and she'll do everything she has to do because that's the way the Knights have done it for decades.

Jamilia Craft vs. Sassy Stephie

A quick match at on 4:34, Jamilia Craft carried Stephie through it and afterwards told the crowd that she'd even the odds with She Nay Nay on the next volume if she is given the chance. Due to poor like the one on this show, Stephie has been dropping in and out of the Sparkle ranks but remains in an obscure position within the company.

Jessie McKay & Tenille vs The Social Club

The Social Club dominated this match and cemented their own position at the top of the tag team heap in Shimmer. However as Annie Social picked up the win with a Stunner, she shouted at Cruise to get a chair from ringside to which she obliges and they destroy the Australians.

Britani Knight vs Saraya Knight

Saraya did her best put over her daughter in this one; this match was surprisingly good with both women doing some solid wrestling. The finish of the match came as Saraya planted Britani on her head with a devastating Cradle Pile Driver. However after the match as Saraya extended her hand Britani kicks her in the stomach and plants her with a Pile Driver of her own. Britani climbs to the middle turnbuckle to taunt at the crowd before spitting on the knocked out face of her mother. As Saraya leaves the ring with the help of referees the fans cheer and clap the newly turned baby face veteran.

Roxi vs. Portia Perez

This match saw one half of the tag team champions take on one half of the number two contenders for those titles. Despite the match getting a good rating and both women working well together; Perez picked up the win edging it over her opponent. But after the match both women were taken out by an angered Melanie Cruise who leaves the ring as quickly as she entered.

In a change from tradition, Nikki Roxx’s music blasts from the PA system and she walks out in her street clothes before taking a microphone. The number one contender for the Shimmer title garners a huge face reaction from the crowd as she enters the ring.

Nikki Roxx:

For five years! For five years I’ve been working my way up the ranks here in Shimmer and there has always been one common goal. Not just a goal for me, but for the whole locker room; to become the Shimmer champion! But there has always been one obstacle stopping everyone in that locker room: Sara Del Rey! For five years, any and anyone who’s wanted to take a step to that next level have had to defeat Del Rey. But she refuses to allow the young, fresh girls get to that level, why? Because she’s afraid, but I’m going to forfeit my title match tonight. Because I want to earn my way to the gold, I want to prove that I can beat anyone and everyone in Shimmer. But if I don’t beat Del Rey on Volume 37, I’ll forfeit my number one contender status to her!

Roxx leaves the ring and hands the microphone over to Joey Eastman and walks through the curtain to a warm applause from the crowd.

Nicole Matthews vs. Sarah Jones

The worst match of the night came as the English born Jones defeated Nicole Matthews in 10:58. The finish of the match came as Matthews attempted a Fisherman Suplex but Jones managed to grab her leg and roll into a small package pin. Jones picked up a pin fall victory over one half of the tag team champions. But will they be able to defeat the team of the Canadian Ninjas? After the match, Annie Social ran down to the ring and attacked both women. Unlike Cruise however Social continued her beat down in the ring until both Roxi and Portia Perez run in for the save. After making Social retreat down the aisle a little, Roxi and Portia look around the ring and back into each other. Both women get ready to fight until Annie Social begins speaking on the microphone and as she does, Melanie Cruise joins her in the aisle.

You see that! In one night, the Social Club have destroyed three teams. Three of the best teams in Shimmer and we still won’t be given a title shot. This whole company is a shambles! Daizee Haze vs. Sarah Stock

This was a hotly anticipated match which saw a lot of high risk manoeuvres including an aerial dive by Haze from the top rope to the outside and down to the wooden floor beneath her. Also this match saw Sarah Stock leaping through the middle and top rope with a plancha to the outside. However the match also had some small segments of technical wrestling which was overshadowed by the high spots. However the match ended as Kellie Skater who was sitting at ringside was too much of a distraction for the tunnel vision of Haze. The finish of the match came as Haze left the ring to confront the Australian but in doing so had stayed out of the ring for too long and was counted out by referee Todd Sinclair. Sarita didn’t seem to happy with the decision as did the crowd who started chanting “Let Them Fight”.

This match was all out from the start; both Danger and Nikita started the match and told a story until Danger got the upper hand and as Nikita went for a tag but Knox refused. The highlight of the match was Knox trying to ground wrestle Martinez who powered out and kicked Knox straight in the face. The kick was felt around the arena and the fans went berserk. The finish came as Martinez plants Knox with her fisherman buster.

Cheerleader Melissa vs. MsChif

Due to Nikki Roxx forfeiting her title match, MsChif used her title rematch to fill in the space left by Roxx. This match is the third meeting of MsChif and Cheerleader Melissa within Shimmer. MsChif is currently at 2 – 1 over Melissa, however Melissa was able to claw it back to and even 2 – 2. This match went on for a total of 18:12 and ended when Melissa managed to duck out of the way of a green mist from Daffney who tried to interfere and MsChif got sprayed in the face. This allowed the champion to knock Chif out with a swift right hand followed up with her patented Kudoh Driver.

After the match, Melissa stopped Daffney from attacking MsChif and threw her down at ringside before raising MsChif’s hand. The show closes with the champion and challenger in the ring united.

In one of the biggest announcements to date with regards to Shimmer, the office has announced that they will be putting on Volume 37 after the Ring Of Honour show next month. This means that there will be more possibilities in terms of gimmick matches as the bigger venue allows for more match types, if Shimmer wish to utilise it. However no gimmick matches have been announced thus far. The card so far is as follows:

In the opening segment of the night we saw Saraya Knight standing in the locker room telling Britani that she forgives her for the post match attack. However she says if you try anything like that again, she won’t be as forgiving. Britani stands with her head low until she raises it with grin plastered over her face and she says:

“I’m my mothers daughter, you taught me everything I know” Britani walks off laughing as she goes slamming the door behind her.

Saraya Knight vs. She Nay Nay

In the opening contest; Saraya defeated the up and coming Nay Nay in a decent match that went for 11:48. However the finish of the match left a nasty taste in the throats of the fans and the competitors alike. Seeing that her mother was in trouble, Britani ran out from the back and tripped the leg of Nay Nay causing the distraction. This helped the dazed Knight to regroup and plant Nay Nay with her patented cradle Pile Driver. After the match Britani leapt into the ring to celebrate with the victor but is slapped stiffly across the face with the sound rattling around the large arena. Saraya leaves the ring as her daughter cowers in the corner with a huge red hand print on her cheek.

Sarah Stock vs. Kellie Skater

This match saw the veteran of Mexico take on the youngster from Australian in a 15 minute time limit match. However neither woman needed that time as it ended in 12:55 with Skater picking up a shock victory against Stock. After the match however, Daizee Haze ran out from the back dressed in a black and white attire and dark makeup on. She walked straight up to the victor of the match and in a shock move; Haze shook hands with Skater before walking back to the locker room. Skater remains in the ring post handshake with a confused look on her face.

Rachel and Jessica’s Excellent Tag Team vs. Canadian Ninjas vs. The Social Club vs. Roxi & Sarah Jones

The biggest shock of the night came as the underdogs defeated not only the champions but one of the hottest teams in the division and the most dominant. Summerlyn and James picked up the win and the tag team titles in one of the craziest matches in Shimmer history with action left right and centre. Jessica James picked up the win as Cruise and Social did a “con-chairto” like move onto Roxi. James sneaked in the pin and shocked the crowd. The action didn’t end as both Portia Perez and Sarah Jones had to prevent Matthews, Social and Cruise from attacking Summerlyn and Jessica.

Nikki Roxx vs. Sara Del Rey

The second shock victory of the night came as the number one contender lost her status to the Death Ray. But the finish was not a clean one, the special referee in the match as part of Del Rey’s stipulation was La Nikita Noir. The finish of the match came as Del Rey had Roxx locked in her standing Butterfly submission. Despite Roxx never tapping up Nikita wanted the bell rang and proclaimed Del Rey the winner. After the match Roxx realised that she lost her chance at the gold but Del Rey smashed Nikita across the face before walking out of the ringside area.

Cheerleader Melissa vs. Madison Eagles vs. Daffney vs. MsChif

The main event of the evening came to a conclusion as Melissa used the entangled Daffney as a stepping stone. As MsChif had Daffney locked in an agonising camel clutch like move through the ladder, Melissa stomped on the head of Daffney to get extra leverage towards the belt. Another highlight of the match came as Madison Eagles leaped off of the top rung of the ladder with a picture perfect moonsault onto the other three women.

Allison Danger vs. Rebecca Knox

The headlining main event of Shimmer Volume 37 was Danger against Knox in a last woman standing match. Knox picked up the win despite an incredibly rough mid match knock to the head. Midway through the match Danger dropped Knox on her head with a back suplex causing Knox to be knocked out. Out of the back however, to gain some more time and save the match, a quick thinking She Nay Nay ran out and attacked the referee and Danger. Despite being an unplanned spot, Nay Nay garnered a huge heel pop from the crowd and caught the eye of Danger. Finally Knox came through and the match continued for a good five more minutes. Knox won the match with a wrenching cross face until Knox releases the submission forcing Dangers face into a steel chair. Knox picks up the ten count and finishes the feud with a handshake with She Nay Nay.
