scorpion
The game that turned me into a text-sim aholic was called Front Office Football. One version of this game that people enjoyed was called "empty cupboard" this meant you started the game from scratch with no players. The computer would then create a bunch of low-level players and you would build your team from there. I decided to do this with TEW 2005. Starting a game with one promotion and two workers in 1901, I am fast simming to see where the world goes. In this thread I will try to bring the characters and feds to life as best I can. Currently there are two active promotions: North American Wrestling Alliance Ontario Pro wrestling
scorpion
History of the North American Wrestling Alliance North American Wrestling Alliance The grandaddy of them all opened their doors in 1901 and held their first card in October 1903. Their first card had 3 matches and the first three champions were decided. The very first match saw two 18 year old strong style, American wrestlers go head to head to determine the first NAWA Intercontinental Champion. Julio Bell came out on top, defeating Axx. In the second match, Gabriel Cronin, an American shoot-fighter, and Martin Parker an American football player teamed up as the Revenge Warriors and won the NAWA Tag Team Titles by defeating the team of Bernard Bryant (a rare American Luchadore) and PG Tower (also a high flyer). In the final match, Pedro Vecho became the first NAWA Universal Champion by defeating "The Perfect One " Jake Young Vechio is an American weightlifter while Young is a created worker. The NAWA is owned by Edward C. Johnson, also a created character who is also an announcer for the company. more to come...

scorpion
History of the NAWA Universal Title NAWA Universal "Dark Angel" Gabriel Cronin [Wk1 May 1905-current] (15) "Big V" Pedro Vechio (2) [Wk2 July 1904- Wk1 May 1905] (16) "The Perfect One" Jake Young [Wk3 Feb 1904-Wk2 July 1904] (15) "Big V" Pedro Vechio [Wk2 Oct 1903- Wk3 Feb 1904] (19) History Vechio, a Super Heavyweight, former weightlifter became the first champion by defeating Young. Vechio, who is extremely popular with the fans, then became embroiled in a bitter feud with Young that has lasted 3 years and saw the two grapplers earn "Match of the Year" in 1903, '04, and '05. The widely hated Young finally snatched the title from Vechio in February of 1904. Young then managed to hold onto the title for 5 months before dropping it back to Vechio. Meanwhile in the tag-team ranks, "All-Pro" Martin Parker and "Lethal" Gabriel Cronin were making quite a name for themselves as "The Revenge Warriors" They grabbed the tag titles and held onto them for almost two years. Their vicious, no nonsense attack and the realism they brought to their contests (Cronin is a shoot-fighter, while Parker was a Pro football player) made them extremely popular with the fans. Vechio saw how popular Cronin was getting and because he respected his abilities he accepted the challenge laid forth by the tag champion. The two met in the ring twice in March of 1905 with Vechio retaining both times. Then in May at "Nowher to Run" Cronin finally grabbed the title. After the match the two shook hands, but Vecho made it clear that he would still be gunning for his title. From may until August Cronin held both the Universal and the Tag Titles. After dropping the Tag Titles Cronin turned on his former partner and took on a new moniker as the "Dark Angel". His brutal treament of his former partner and his similar treatment of the loved Vechio has turned the fans againt him. However, the personality has made him very successful as he has held on to the Universal title for nearly a year.

scorpion
The Julio Bell Story Julio Bell began his career in NWAW and quickly captured their Intercontinental title on their premier show. Shortly aterwards he dropped the title to Bernsrd Bryant. With the gimmick as "Cat Burgalar" Julio Bello began teaming with "Perfect One" Jake Young as the Perfect Criminals. Despite compiling a 15-0-1 record, the Perfect Criminals never achieved gold because in August of 1904, Julio Bell lived up to his gimmick and was jailed for 1 year for breaking and entering. Since his release, bell has returned to NAWA, but has yet to return to the same success he enjoyed.
