This is going to be post-Summerslam. ---------------------------------------------------------- Quick SummerSlam 2010 Results Melina defeated Alicia Fox to become the new Divas champion Evan Bourne defeated The Miz and Ted Dibiase to become the new United States Champion - Dibiase and Miz ganged on Bourne early on, until Dibiase attacked Miz. - Maryse got both The Miz's distraction, and Dibiase was able to almost get a pinfall. - The Miz accidentally knocked Dibiase into Maryse, then Bourne was able to knock Miz down and hit the shooting star press for the win. Straight Edge Society defeated The Big Show - Big Show dominated most of the match. - It started with Gallows and Show, then Joey and Show. - Punk only came in when the Big Show was weak. - SES kept tagging quickly but the Big Show stopped it and beat on Joey for a while. - Serena locked lips with the Show, Gallows got the referees attention and Punk was able to low blow the Big Show and use a chair a few times, then used Gallows and the rope to get the pinfall. - Punk asks the Big Show to join them, says to think about it. Team Nexus defeated Team WWE - Bret Hart was taken out early in the night and would not be medically cleared to fight. - Edge and Chris Jericho agreed on something backstage, and ended up coming with Team WWE. - Truth was eliminated first by Sheffield, thanks to Jericho helping. - Morrison was eliminated second by Gabriel, thanks to Edge helping. - Khali was third eliminated. Everyone thought he was joining, including Khali. Khali chopped Cena off the apron, raised his arms but Barrett began beating on Khali. Nexus made all quick tags and got the big man down, as Slater was able to get the pinfall. - Edge and Jericho began working as a tag team as Cena wouldn't get any tags. - David Otunga and Michael Tarver are the only two men who have not been tagged legally in the match. - Bret Hart walks down the aisle. - Tarver is tagged, and a masked man runs from the crowd and hits Edge over the back of the head with something. Barrett tags Tarver and gets the pin on Edge. - David Otunga jumps off the apron, Barrett runs at Cena and hits him. Jericho and Cena are both in the ring. Nexus jump off the apron, then Cena hits Jericho from behind and hits the AA and pins Jericho. - The Nexus get in the ring and hug Cena and the ref looks confused, and Cena tells the ref that Barrett tagged him and David Otunga isn't competing. - Cena waves Bret to get in the ring, because it's 7 on 7. - Bret takes off his jacket and is about to get in the ring but the Hart Dynasty come to stop him. DH Smith says he'll be the 7th. - DH Smith gets in the ring and he does o..k, but the numbers were too big and Cena makes DH tap to the STF. Kane defeated Rey Mysterio to retain the World Heavyweight Championship - Kane once again shared his brother said Rey Mysterio was the attacker and Rey would pay tonight and requested a No DQ match. - Rey came out and defended himself, but to make Kane happy, agreed to the No DQ match and immediately attacked Kane. - Both men were using a lot of cheap tricks to get the win. - Kane ends up tombstoning Rey on the belt three times then pinning for the win. Randy Orton defeated Sheamus to become the new WWE World Champion - The match was back and forth pretty much the entire time. - Orton eventually got the RKO and got the victory. But Orton was laying on the mat, holding his shoulder again. - The Miz runs down and hits Randy with the briefcase, then hits his finisher on Randy on the briefcase. - The Miz tells the ref to ring the bell, he's cashing his briefcase. - Randy begins moving and slowly getting up, the ref then rings the bell. Randy Orton defeated The Miz to retain the WWE World Title - The Miz runs at Randy, but Orton ducks as The Miz runs into the turnbuckle. - The Miz stumbles back and turns, then Randy hits the RKO. - As Orton pins The Miz, the Nexus come from the back. ------------------------------------------------------------------- Wrestling Torch News - Charlie Haas, Shelton Benjamin, Paul Burchill, , and Katie Lea Burchill have been secretly added once again to the WWE Superstars page since SummerSlam. - It's rumored that the anonymous Raw GM will be announced very soon, as early as Monday Night on Raw. - It looks like Vince has been pleased with the ratings and interest in wrestling again. Expect more changes backstage and on screen. We have no idea what changes are even possible yet. - A few road agents were at FCW, as well as, a few other independent wrestling organizations to begin searching for new talent. After they watched several tapes over the past few months, it appears they have tons of creative plans and hoping them to be long term, unless of course injuries take place.</p><p> </p><p> - Vince McMahon has been pushing for Smackdown to be 'stacked' like Raw. So expect some draft changes to happen very soon.</p><p> </p><p> - Triple H appears to be in no hurry to come back right now, and is taking his time to heal and be with his family. Triple H has been at most events backstage, giving his input. Many expect him to be out until December.</p><p> </p><p> - Expect a change in Survivor Series this year. We are not exactly sure what change that could be.</p><p> </p><p> - Plans have begun already for Wrestlemania. I kinda wanted Miz to continue to try and use the briefcase but not end up cashing it in over and over again. Oh well. Will he challenge Evan Bourne to regain his US title or does he have other ideas in mind? - Edge and Chris Jericho will team up to face former SummerSlam teammates R-Truth and John Morrison. Will we see the mysterious masked man attack Edge again? - Who will be next in line for the new WWE Champion, Randy Orton? - Why did John Cena turn on the WWE Universe? Will there end up being answers to the questions, or just more questions added to the puzzle? waitingtobesaved Posted August 10, 2010 Author Share Posted August 10, 2010 Monday Night Raw OPENING John Cena, along with Nexus, came out to open up the show. Cena mentions he's gotten messages online, voice mails on his phone, and people asking him 'why cena why'. Cena says he'll answer the question, just not tonight. He says there is a bigger picture and it'll be revealed in due time. He laughingly thanks Edge and Chris Jericho for helping Team WWE lose. He also mentions Bret Hart is not here, and if he was smart he would stay gone this time. You hear horses run followed by music as Arn Anderson walks out. Arn shares that if anyone is wondering what he's doing, he's doing his job because he is the man whose been emailing Michael Cole. He's the Raw GM. He says he doesn't have a lot of personality but he was told to make the emails distinct. He did. Now, he's live and going to make some changes. Cena says Arn needs to do the right thing and stay a producer for the losers, team WWE and they are Nexus. Arn talks about being in tougher stables than the Nexus, doing things rougher and tougher, and taking beatings from groups of men a lot tougher. Cena asks Mr. Enforcer to come to the ring and see if what he says is true. Arn says he's tough, but not stupid. He says for now, for all Nexus to leave but two because two members of Nexus will face the Hart Dynasty next. And if anyone else gets involved, he'll suspend them immediately. Justin Gabriel and Skip Sheffield defeated The Hart Dynasty in a non title match In a match that went back and forth, Gabriel pinned Kidd after the 450 splash. Backstage interview with Randy Orton. Josh asks Randy what's next and he said it doesn't matter, he's going to remain WWE champion for a while. Arn walks up in the middle of the interview and breaks the news that Randy Orton will defend the WWE title at Night of Champions against the winner of tonight's match, Evan Bourne and Sheamus. Melina defeated Jillian in a quick match Alicia Fox came out but did not interfere. She showed Melina she wanted the title back. Backstage John Cena is talking to The Nexus, then The Great Khali walks up and says something. He walks away but the entire Nexus start beating on Khali as medics run to help. Cena bends over to Khali's face and does the motion 'you can't see me' and laughs. Edge and Jericho are talking backstage about what they did at SummerSlam, and Edge wondering if they did the right thing. Jericho tells Edge they need to forget that and focus on being champions again. Jericho tells Edge to think about Chris Jericho vs. Edge for the WWE Title at Wrestlemania. It would be epic. Sheamus defeated Evan Bourne to become the #1 Contendor After the match, Anderson comes out and tells Sheamus congrats, but if he loses at Night of Champions, he's going to the back of the line. Sheamus says he's fine with it. Orton then comes out and asks for Arn to make the match a special match since it's going to be Sheamus's last chance, how about a Last Man Standing match. Arn agrees. Backstage we see John Cena talking to John Morrison. Then the cameras cut to Wade Barrett talking to R-Truth but you cannot hear what either men are saying. Ted Dibiase defeated Santino Marella Maryse began flirting with Santino which gave Dibiase a quick sneak to hit his finisher and get the pin. The Miz then runs out and starts beating on Dibiase and walks out smiling. Bret Hart is talking to the Hart Dynasty on the telephone. Hart is not in town. Sheamus is out cold in the back with a little hammer laying beside him. Edge & Chris Jericho defeated The Hart Dynasty Without any interference, Edge was able to spear DH Smith, then Jericho put him in the Walls of Jericho to make him tap. Afterwards Nexus comes out and surrounds the ring. As they all are about to enter the ring, you hear over the speakers Time To Play The Game. The crowd errupts as Triple H comes with is sledgehammer and gets in the ring. Nexus jumps down and is about to exit through the crowd, then Cena gathers them around. They end up circling the ring again and get on the apron. Triple H runs at David Otunga but Otunga jumps down, then Triple H runs and hits Edge, then Chris Jericho with the sledgehammer. Cena smiles as the entire Nexus gets in the ring. Cena and Triple H hug. They beat down Edge and Jericho to end the show. Now we have more questions than answers. Why Cena Why? Why Triple H Why? However, with some speculating Kane as the attacker thanks to Rey, will we find out who the real attacker is?
