This was my card for my last PPV TNA Glorybowl 2005 this was a speicial 4 hour PPV held on Week 4 Sunday December 2005 and was TNA's version of WWE's Wrestlemania. Held at the Jefferson Civic Center (South East) in front of 8000 Fans PPV Buyrate: 210,741 buys (InDemand) Guide: Winner's in [B]Bold[/B] , (c) = Champion Kevin Nash Vs [B]Ali[/B] (Formely Muhammed Hassan) [I]Background: Ali debut in TNA Wrestling during a Triple Threat Match for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship involving Jeff Jarrett(c) Raven and Kevin Nash, Ali attacked Nash and so this match was made.[/I] [COLOR=Royalblue]Rating: B+[/COLOR] Barbed Wire Match [B]Abyss and Rhino[/B] Vs Jeff Hardy and Sabu [I]Background: Abyss and Rhino have been on a role since James Mitchell put them togeather in a tag team, but they met there match when they attacked Jeff Hardy on iMPACT! and he challenged them to a tag team match agaisnt himself and a mystery tag partner, that partner turned out to be Sabu, but despite this Abyss and Rhino still beat them in a hardcore match, this was the rematch.[/I] [COLOR=RoyalBlue]Rating: B+[/COLOR] TNA X Division Championship Ultimate X Match Micheal Shane Vs [B]Petey Williams[/B] Vs Shannon Moore [I]Background: This match was to crown a new TNA X Division Champion, after former champion AJ Styles was forced to vacate the title thru injury caused by Samoa Joe on iMPACT!, what folloed was 3 quallifing matchs in which the 3 winners met in a Ultimate X Match.[/I] [COLOR=RoyalBlue]Rating: B[/COLOR] [B]3 Live Kru (BG James and Ron Killings)[/B] Vs Team Canada (Bobby Roode and Eric Young) [I]Background: 3LK challenged Team Canada to this match on iMPACT! after they had resolved there diffirences with Kip James when Ron Killings beat him in a match which BG James refereed, BG proved he was 3LK and counted the 3 for Killings, however they won this match thanks to help from Kip James which ask's the question 'Have 3LK really seen the last of Kip James?'[/I] [COLOR=RoyalBlue]Rating: B-[/COLOR] NWA World Tag Team Championship Full Metal Mayhem Match [B]America's Most Wanted(c)[/B] Vs Team 3D Vs The Naturals [I]Background: This match was made to settle the dispute between these 3 teams which had carried on since AMW had won the tag team titles from The Naturals in a 4 Way Tag Team Match featuring AMW, The Naturals, Team 3D and Team Canada (Bobby Roode and Eric Young) a Full Metal Mayhem Match is TNA's version of WWE's TLC match.[/I] [COLOR=RoyalBlue]Rating: B[/COLOR] [B]Samoa Joe[/B] Vs AJ Styles [I]Background: This match was made at AJ Styles' request dispite his injurys which Samoa Joe had caused him which had meant he had to vacate the TNA X Division Title, Although Samoa Joe won this one AJ proved his resilence as he faught for 30 mins thru his injurys.[/I] [COLOR=RoyalBlue]Rating: A[/COLOR] [B]Jeff Jarrett[/B] won a 20 man Battle Royal [I]Background: This match was to decide who would be the third man in the Triple Threat Main Event for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship with Raven(c) and Bill Goldberg, the other competitors in this Battle Royal Where: Lance Hoyt, Austin Aries, Simon Diamond, Jeff Hardy, Abyss, Rhino, Ron Killings, BG James, Konnan, Kip James, Monty Brown, Jerry Lynn, Jushin Thunder Lyger, Sabu, AJ Styles, Samoa Joe, Christopher Daniels, Kevin Nash and Ali.[/I] [COLOR=RoyalBlue]Rating: B[/COLOR] NWA World Heavyweight Championship Raven(c) Vs Bill Goldberg Vs [B]Jeff Jarrett[/B](Battle Royal Winner) [I]Background: This was the Main Event this match was sceduled to be Raven Vs Bill Goldberg with the third participant to be decided by the battle royal which Jeff Jarrett won, Bill Goldberg had wanted a shot at the NWA World Heavyweight Championship since his debut in TNA one month ago on TNA iMPACT!'s debut on Bravo! where Raven beat Jeff Jarrett to win the NWA World Heavyweight Titlle, the following week Raven turned on the fans when he decided to attack Goldberg after Goldberg had won his match which had made him the no1 contender. Having Jarrett go over is a bit meh but sounds like a reasonable card. For your main PPV of the year a Battle Royal was a bad idea to determine the third competitor. You should have already chosen the third participant on iMPACT! as Jarrett = Buy Rates and a Jarrett main event will get you buys.

I wanted to hold a Battle Royal on the night to determine the third competitor because I wanted to do something diffrent to set this PPV apart from the rest and got the idea from TNA Bound For Glory, I was orginally going to have Goldberg win the Battle Royal but I thourght having Goldberg booked for the main event would be better for buy rates. The reason Jarrett went over in the Main Event is because I want Goldberg to be chasing the title for a while and Jarrett Vs Goldberg will get more buys then Raven Vs Goldberg IMO, thanks for your comments.
