Styles: Welcome everyone to ECW Hardcore TV! Last week we found who would meet for vacated ECW Heavyweight Championship at Living Dangerously on Saturday, and the showdown between Rob Van Dam and Tazz should be one to behold.

Gertner: Joey, Joey, Joey. With the way Tazz is decimating his opponents right now, Van Dam has no chance to take home the strap this weekend.

Styles: That remains to be seen my plump sidekick, but one thing is for sure, we’ve got a hell of a main event tonight to get folks ready for two big showdowns at Living Dangerously.

Gertner: Van Dam will team with The Sandman to take on Tazz and Mike Awesome, and well, I think we all know who will win that match.

Styles: No we don’t know Joel. But since you know it all, that doesn’t surprise me.

Gertner: Glad you finally see it my way, Joey.

Match Notes and Finish: A very exciting tag match to get things started. Lots of good mat wrestling, with the exception of Tanaka who took a more power and strength approach given the size of his opponents. The tag team chemistry between Taka and Tanaka was a beauty to watch. In the end, Taka hit the Michinoku Driver on Guido and Tanaka hit the Diamond Dust on Chavo in unison as Taka got the pin for the win. (C+)

Gertner: Well it looks like the Impact Players will be retaining their belts on Saturday.

Styles: Would you stop it! Michinoku and Tanaka showed great tag team chemistry out there tonight, and the Players better not go into this thing with too much confidence.

We see Taka and Tanaka walking in the back, and then Storm and Credible stop their path, as Dawn Marie looks on with a smile.

Storm - “So you boys are getting a shot at the belts on Saturday? Well Justin and I couldn’t be more happy. You see, we don’t get the credit we deserve around here. But we’re the ECW Tag Team champions. We’re the Impact Players. There is no team in this business that can compete with us. You guys team together for one night, and all of a sudden you’re suppose to be a threat to our titles? What a joke. You guys will be questioning your little alliance on Saturday when we kick your teeth down your throat. You don‘t stand a chance against the world‘s best tag team.”

Storm and Credible walk off with evil smiles as Michinoku and Tanaka look ready for a fight. (D+)

Styles: I may have to agree with your earlier statement my friend. The Players look very confident right now and may make quick work of this new team.

Gertner: Joey you would save yourself a lot of time if you would just realize that I’m right 101% of the time.

Styles: 101%?

Gertner: That’s what I said.

Styles: Still though, the Players can’t get too overconfident. I’m telling you right now, the challengers are an up and coming team in ECW. I can feel it.

Match Notes and Finish: Probably one of the more underwhelming matches in a few weeks, as neither man really seemed to get in sync with the other. The chemistry was certainly lacking, but still, Corino was able to make this a believable encounter as he helped put London over as a credible wrestling threat. The finish saw Corino hit the Northern Lights Bomb on London for the victory. (C-)

Styles: That wasn’t what the people wanted to see, as Corino picks up the victory. Many are still fuming over the way he put Tajiri out of the tournament a few weeks ago.

Gertner: I, for one, completely support this man. He’ll give Tajiri what he has coming to him at Living Dangerously. He’ll make him wish he would have just left Corino alone.

Styles: Tajiri would have been a little pansy if he left it alone. The man cost him a shot at the title!

Gertner: Corino did what he had to do, Joey. I respect that. He’s the biggest star in ECW!

Styles: You better not let Tazz hear you say that.

Gertner: Whhhaa…..Tazz…..where!

We see a hype video featuring Mike Awesome and The Sandman. The video shows the best moments recently from the two, including the hardcore battle the two had in the first round of the ECW Title tournament. ©

Styles: It’s official Joel, these two will meet in an Extreme Tables Match at Living Dangerously, and I can’t wait for that one.

Gertner: There will be carnage everywhere in that one, as these are two of the most reckless guys in ECW. It won’t be pretty.

Match Notes and Finish: A fantastic back and forth match between these two, with Danielson holding his own against the Japanese Buzzsaw. Tajiri had the momentum in the end, then Corino ran down to interfere. Danielson pushed Tajiri towards the apron, as Corino grabbed a chair to nail him, but Tajiri moved out of the way as Corino hit Danielson with the chair, and then Tajiri delivered a superkick to Corino with the chair hitting him in the face. Tajiri then covered Danielson for the win. (C+)

Styles: Well Joel, you might think Corino is the top star here in ECW, but he certainly isn’t the brightest star after that little mistake.

Gertner: It’s all Tajiri’s fault.

Styles: Of course it is. Because Tajiri is smarter.

Gertner: Tajiri can’t even speak good English! The guy’s an idiot.

Styles: You’re the idiot. The guy can speak like eight languages! How many can you speak my friend?

Gertner: I only speak one. And that is the language of the ladies.

Styles: Oh give me a break.

Match Notes and Finish: Crowd was really into this one, which should come as no surprise since it features four of the top workers in ECW. Tazz continued to look dangerous, as he made easy work of Sandman when they were in the ring together. Though the team of Tazz and Awesome didn’t show much in terms of tag team chemistry, individually, they both showed just how good they are. The finish saw Sandman and Awesome fight to the outside, where Sandman got out of the Awesome Bomb and put Awesome through a table. Meanwhile, RVD and Tazz went toe to toe on the inside, but a missed superkick saw RVD stumble, and Tazz locked on the Tazzmission, with Van Dam having no choice but to tap. (C-)

After the match, Tazz stands over Van Dam with his arms crossed and stares down at him with a very menacing look.

Styles: Tazz just made a statement tonight folks. I don’t think anyone can stop him right now.

Gertner: Everyone thought Van Dam would be the one to stop him, but he made it clear tonight that there’s no chance that he doesn’t walk out of Living Dangerously with the ECW belt. Heyman might as well go ahead and give it to him right now!

Styles: Van Dam better have learned something from this encounter tonight, because if not, he could be in for the same fate on Saturday.
