NOTBPW - The Stone Age

Recommended Posts

Friday, Week 4, June 2010.

A shocking news is headlining Totalextremewrestling.com:

The Canadian Wrestling Machine Jeremy Stone, a few weeks after quitting NOTBPW, just signed a written deal with another promotion. There was many speculations about Jeremy's future. Many predicted he might go south and join Tommy Cornell TCW, where his wrestling skills could shine, not to mention the presence of his youngest brother, Edd. Others tought he might go to SWF and be a true wrestling superstar. All of them were wrong! The oldest of Dan Sr. sibling decided to sign with Canadian Golden Combat, currently the canadian hottest wrestling company. Alex DeColt is delighted and Jeremy will be on the next episode of Title Bout Wrestling

This was another slap in the face for Dan Stone Jr., the new owner of NOTBPW. The others setbacks were:

  • Losing all his tv revenues and a 30 minutes cut for Championship Wrestling
  • Losing the first place as Canada's #1 wrestling co.

This is the end of an era or a new beginning?

Stay tuned.

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><em>Another hit on NOTBPW, Craig Prince is the newest acquisition of CGC. They grabbed the best technician around, and now the best road agent. <p>Here we go.</p><p> </p><p>

Steve vs. Angel is a no-brainer. DeColt need to ride alot of momentum in his warfare against Dan Jr.</p><p> </p><p>

I've given the tag team belt to Hash & King because they got impressive chemistry so I've created a new team with them. Also, Omar Brown is a nice, reliable worker but Harlem isn't ready yet. I'll send him pays his due and gain some skills in the way.</p><p> </p><p>

The battle royale was simply a simple way to fill time, give workers exposure and maybe some skills grow in time. R.K. was my only Upper Midcard left, so no brainer here too. </p><p> </p><p>

I'll use Sean McFly as my gatekeeper to a title shot, so he needs to looks dangerous. I didn't plan to give a shot to Johnny in the following month so Sean win the day. I'm also a traditional thinker that heel wins on tv, but face win on ppv <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

Dan Jr is my main star and my best worker. Right now, I need him on top.</p>

<p>Some very interesting signings. With the loss of Bloodstone on top of the other losses, you need new stars now. Hernandes, Parker and Hugh will be great guys to develop in the long term, Buddy and the McWades can contribute in a big way immediately.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Dan Stone Jr.©</strong> vs. Steve DeColt</p><p>

Lauren's a good champion for now, especially with your Women's division mainly on dark match duty.</p><p> </p><p>

Keep Sean strong for the feud</p><p> </p><p>

Canadian Championship

Dan Stone Jr.© vs. Owen Love in a cage match

Another post match angle I suspect to put more preassure on the champ and build to Dan vs Steve.

Tag team championship

The McWades vs. Hash & King ©

Hash & King haven't exactly had the belts very long, and the McWades can get their heat back with some tv shenanigans.

Women's Championship

Lauren Easter © vs. Kristabel Plum vs. Melody vs. Stephanie Hazel

Lauren's on a role.

also featuring

Dark Angel vs. The Natural

Since Owen is loosing elsewhere, the Natural could use the win.

Steve DeColt vs. Sean McFly

Should be a hell of a match. Build up Steve for the inevitable shot at Dan.

September Scramble was a financial success, but there was a feeling that this event wasn't of the same quality than the previous ones. The Anti-Stone storyline is still red hot, but we're missing some depth. Should we plan a second storyline to follow? If so, who's left to carry it? Or maybe we should push our prospects faster?

IC-TV are absolutely ecstatic with our audimat. After only 3 weeks, they proposed us to extend our show to a three hours format! This is one more hour to fill. That's a lot, but this is also a good opportunity to showcase our midcarders and our rookies more often in prime time television. Maybe adding a new midcard belt in mix?

Thursday, Week 2, October 2010

To fill R.K. place, we hired another young promising technician, Jared Johnson. The promotion youth movement is continuing. Julian Watson and Erik Strong are now well anchored on midcard duties.

We added a new midcard title, the NOTBPW Tap Out title. As the name suggest, this title is reserved to technician and other workers alike. This title fit well in the promotion philosophy and could help to build up our future elite grapplers.

The first eight contenders were Omar Brown, Jason O'Connor, Thomas Morgan, Steven Parker, Buddy Garner, Jared Johnson, Erik Strong and Julian Watson. Half of them were eliminated during quarter-finals. The semi finals will be held on October Obliteration.

Another storyline is running alongside the Anti-Stone Liga. It is called: Breaking the Angel. The McWades found a new hobby: pearl harboring Dark Angel. Two vicious brawlers against a gifted technician. This could be interesting if the heat rises up.

McFly and Dan Jr. seems to take the upper hand in their feud against the liga. In the last episodes of Championship Wrestling, they managed to show their supremacy on the Can-Am blondes. But Steve DeColt isn't finished yet!

Here's the line up for October Obliteration

Canadian Championship

Dan Stone Jr. © vs. Steve DeColt

Tag Team Championship

Hash & King © vs. Derek Frost & Steven Parker

Womens Championship

Lauren Easter © vs. Kristabel Plum

Thursday, Week 1, November 2010

After six months of tense rivalries, we finally managed to keep our supremacy on the Canadian territory. CGC wasn't able to dethrone us, even if they were more aggresive than us in the process. With our position secure in our home market, we can now set our sight south of the border.

The timing couldn't be better, most of our workers are currently locked in mid or long terme deal. Only The Natural can be an issue but I hope we can find a long term agreement in the next weeks.

Here's a quick review of our situation.

Saturday, Week 2, November 2010.

One hour before Nirvana in November, I'm doing my peptalk to the crew in the locker room.

-Okay guys, I've two good news to tell you! First of all, I'm really glad to confirm to us all that Damian (aka The Natural) have just signed a two years contract extension.

-Does that mean we'll have to watch you playing Guitar Hero naked for TWO more years? Sean added, jokingly

-You betcha! I need some relaxation before whooping your arse during 30 minutes. Damian responded.

-Please a bit more silence. The other news is that we managed to get a new tv with The National Pride Network. We got weekly coverage in the United Stares baby!

-Excellent, bro. We'll show 'em that we are the best. Simply. Omar Brown spoked

-All right everyone. I'll leave you to your preparations. Give your best tonight.

-Okay kids, let the fun begins!

-Here you go, Crippler! everyone shouted

So I let them prepare themselve. I didn't have to say more to motivation them. They're a fine bunch of professionals.
