Diary Background

This will be my first attempt at writing a TEW diary after just recently purchasing this game for the first time earlier in the week. I have other experience doing other "franchise reports" so I'm not completely new, but we will have to wait and see how this turns out. I haven't watched wrestling regularly since the early 2000's and I was always a fan of WCW more than any other promotion, so once that was gone I kind of lost interest. However, something about this CornellVerse has caught my interest and I can't get enough.

My definite weakness with this game is the whole storyline aspect so I plan on meshing together a bunch of ideas I found in the SWF Discussion Thread in the general discussion forum to start off my game. As I get further into the diary I should be able to start coming up with some more original ideas and such. So credit goes to everyone who posted in that thread.

Also a lot of the format credit goes to Bigpapa's SWF: Generation Supreme.

The Biggz Boyz vs. Death Row

In a pre-show treat for the fans, The Biggz Boyz and Death Row put on a good tag team bout with some solid action between the four. Bart Biggz came away with the winning move, a Biggz Up, and pinned Shady K in 8:29.

Grade: C+

The Amazing Bumfholes vs. The Samoan Wildboyz

Tag Team Match

In the final pre-show bout of the night, The Amazing Bumfholes defeated The Samoan Wildboyz in 7:47 when Zimmy Bumfhole bested Akima Brave by pinfall with a Bumfhole In One.

Grade: C

The Supremacists - Eric Eisen, Brandon James, Angry Gilmore, Squeeky McClean, Emma Chase

In-Ring Segment

The show officially begins with the SWF World Heavyweight champion Eric Eisen standing in the middle of the ring. After a few minutes of boos from the crowd following the incident at Christmas Clash with Jack Bruce, Eric gets on with the show. He motions to the back and out comes the SWF North American champ Brandon James with Emma Chase. They are promptly followed by The Moral Majority, a new tag team in the SWF consisting of Angry Gilmore and Squeeky McClean.

Once all five have gathered inside the ropes, Eisen grabs a microphone and addresses the crowd.

Eric Eisen: Thank you for the warm welcome Clovers Field! You are all probably wondering why I have chosen to call Brandon James, Ms. Emma Chase, and The Moral Majority out here tonight. Well, I will tell you. It is about time someone cleaned out all the scum from the SWF for good, and luckily for you fans I have gladly accepted that challenge. But I am no fool, this would obviously be to big of a job for one man.

Peter Michaels: Duane, I think we are about to see the formation of a power alliance in the SWF...

Eric Eisen: So to help me along with this quest I have enlisted the help of your SWF North American champion, Brandon James! The lovely Emma Chase at his side as always of course. And finally, the newest tag team in the SWF, The Moral Majority! Together we cannot be stopped and we will eradicate the SWF of all the waste that litters this promotion.

Duane Fry: This is huuuuuuuuuuge.

Eric Eisen: By the way, if you were curious, tonight's main event on SWF Supreme TV will be no other than ... Jack Bruce ... against Rich Money ... and ... MYSELF!, in a triple threat elimination match.

Grade: B+

Justice League vs. The Pain Alliance

First Blood Match

Making their debut as a tag team, American Machine and Atom Smasher known as Justice League went up against The Pain Alliance. American Machine had a nice performance and seemed to really take over the match in the later stages. Big Smack Scott was the first to bleed at 5:59 declaring Justice League victorious in their debut match.

Grade: D

Justice League + Marat Khoklov

Monster Unleashed

While celebrating their victory in the ring still, Justice League was caught off guard as they witnessed a furious Marat Khoklov come storming down the ramp. The Justice League's smiles quickly left their faces as they prepared for a possible confrontation. Khoklov wasted no time once he hit the ring as he exploded into a violent rage. No one was sure of his motives, but Khoklov wasted no time annihilating Atom Smasher before making his way to American Machine. As the last line of defence, Machine fared a little better, but not by much. In just a short time, Khoklov had completely cleared the ring, leaving the Justice League completely destroyed.

Grade: A

Christian Faith + Richard Eisen

Match Request

Following a commercial break, Christian Faith appears backstage in the office of owner Richard Eisen. It is no secret that Faith and Marat Khoklov have been feuding lately and Khoklov's latest display had pushed Faith even further off the ledge than he already was. Faith demands a match against the Russian giant later tonight. After little hesitation Eisen agrees and books the bout for later in the evening.

Grade: B+

Remo vs. Lobster Warrior

Hardcore Match

Remo and Lobster Warrior put on a match with some great action and a good crowd to carry the middle of the card. A slight booking mishap as Lobster Warrior was rumoured to have complained a little following the show about being involved in a hardcore match. As for the actual bout, Remo emerged victorious in 9:21 by pinfall with The Destroyer.

Grade: C+

Marc DuBois + Robbie Retro

Match Announcement

The announcers receive some breaking news straight from owner Richard Eisen's main offices that they pass onto the crowd. The newly activated SWF Shooting Star title that currently sits vacant will be up for grabs next week at 'SWF When Hell Freezes Over'. And the participants? Marc DuBois and Robbie Retro.

Duane Fry: Are you excited Peter? That match has the potential to be quite exciting.

Grade: C

Gregory Black + Christian Faith

Backstage Segment

Gregory Black and Christian Faith have recently struck up quite a bond backstage over their shared love of botany. As Faith begins preparations for his match against Marat Khoklov, Black catches up with him backstage to wish him good luck. The two seem to have great chemistry as you can easily see just from the limited interaction between them. Possible tag team partners in the future?

Grade: A

Christian Faith vs. Marat Khoklov

Singles Match

Marat Khoklov and Christian Faith provided some great action for the SWF fans, who really seemed to get into the match with every blow being exchanged. Faith seemed to really grab control of the bout as it neared the ten minute mark, but quickly things changed in favour of the vicious Russian. A Moscow Lariant followed by a Russian Legend Powerbomb seemed to seal the fate of Faith as Khoklov went for the pin. As the referee went to the count a resilient Faith seemed to find the strength for a kick-out. It wouldn't matter however as Khoklov illegally used the ropes for leverage to pick up the win, the inattentive ref let it pass.

Grade: B

Eric Eisen + Jack Bruce + Rich Money

Promo Video

A video appears on the screen hyping up the upcoming main event match between SWF World Heavyweight champion Eric Eisen, Jack Bruce and Rich Money in a triple threat elimination match. These three have a major score to settle after what happened last month at Christmas Clash.

Grade: B+

Eric Eisen vs. Jack Bruce vs. Rich Money

Triple Threat Elimination Match

Finally the match everyone in the arena had been anticipating since it was announced at the beginning of the show. The triple threat main event match had arrived as the participants made their way to the ring. As expected the contest started off slowly as it built up to a climatic finish. With excellent in-ring action and great heat from the audience, the workers put on quite a display.

Rich Money was the first to be eliminated at around the eleven minute mark after Squeeky McClean had come ringside and distracted Jack Bruce just long enough for Eric Eisen to pin Money after landing The Supremacy on him. With just Bruce and Eisen left in the ring things picked up a notch as they wrestled with everything they had. Bruce seemed to have captured the upper-hand of the bout before Eisen sneaked a low blow past the referee even though he had a clear look at the infraction. With the ref seemingly oblivious, Eisen grabbed the momentum and hit Bruce with his finishing move and went for the pin. In one of the quickest counts in history, Eisen emerged victorious.

Grade: B+

The Supremacists - Eric Eisen, Brandon James, Angry Gilmore, Squeeky McClean, Emma Chase

In-Ring Segment

Eric Eisen is joined in the ring by the other members of The Supremacists as they boast in their debut victory over Jack Bruce and Rich Money. It seems that the SWF is in for a rude awakening with such a power alliance running around and currently controlling the two most important belts in the Federation. Who will have the courage to stand up this fearsome group in the coming months, no one knows.
