Does your fed have a "Wrestlemania"? If so, what have your ME's been?

Recommended Posts

Most people and feds have one show a year that's supposed to be THE big show, right?

Starrcade 2010: Flair d. Sting for the new NLW World Title (B)

-This was my first show- Sting was introduced as a backup challenger when Flair took out Austin backstage, setting up a new Four Horsemen stable and a feud with Austin.

Starrcade 2011: Austin d. Sheamus to retain the NLW World Title (B-)

-Sheamus was brought in on a talent trade as a contingency plan when my top heel got poached. He has a cult following among my diary's audience.

2012 (Tentative): Masahiro Chono d. DDP to retain

-It's a few months off, but it's probably either gonna be this or Dinsmore taking the belt off him.

The Supreme Challenge XXX:

Angry Gilmore def. Vengeance

Originally supposed to Gilmore vs Money but Money broke his ankle in the final week of June so I had to quickly hotshot Vengeance (who had attacked Money as part of the Cult Of Gilmore) into the slot instead for the vacant title.

The Supreme Challenge XXXI:

Rich Money def. Christian Faith

Faith had claimed the title from Money at Times Of Trouble after turning on him earlier in the year but only managed a month with the belt. A little bit of title bouncing to give Rich an extra run and cement him as a future inductee to HOI.

The Supreme Challenge XXXII:

Sam Keith def. Eric Eisen

This is just approaching but that's the plan. Keith and other top vets have been feuding with a group of second gen wrestlers, and this is the final payoff after fourteen months, as the Keith twins turn on Eisen to help their dad become a five time champion.

The Supreme Challenge XXXIII:

Christian Faith vs Sam Keith - Retirement Ironman

I haven't completely decided on the winner yet but the belt will be vacated after a disputed ending at Times Of Trouble setting up a match between SWF's two most successful champions ever. Each vying for a record sixth title reign, they'll agree to settle it in a sixty minute Ironman match with the loser retiring. Based on the "Time Decline" page, it looks like Faith will win as Keith is already well into terminal decline. I'll probably have them both be faces, or at least Faith going in as face and Keith turning after the match regardless of the result via respectful handshake/embrace moment.

In my ACPW diary game, Xtreme Overdose has become my biggest event of the year.

Xtreme Overdose I (March 2010)

El Diablo d. Mimic Copiste (42 / D) - ACPW Heavyweight championship.

Xtreme Overdose II (March 2011)

Ace Newton (Davis Wayne Newton) d. El Diablo (61 / C) - ACPW Heavyweight championship.

Xtreme Overdose III (March 2012)

Ace Newton (Davis Wayne Newton) d. El Diablo (69 / C+) - ACPW Heavyweight championship.

Xtreme Overdose IV (March 2013)

Ace Newton d. Jared Johnson (67 / C+) - ACPW Heavyweight championship.

We're about two weeks off Overdose V, and Jared Johnson is now the Heavyweight champion, so it should be interesting as I've removed Ace from the title picture from the time being.. time to let the others shine!

I like to build the entire year of my MAW games toward Night of Champions. So far, in my dynasty, the only main event has been American Patriot © vs Cameron Vessey vs Jean Cattley, and it's still my top match six months later. I won't beat it any time soon, I don't think.

Playing DoWWE2008 as WCW, so Starrcade would be my WrestleMania.

I'm only in august 2008, but the plan so far is for my current champ (Fit Finlay) to drop the belt (won it in June) to an undecided face. I haven't decided who, though. Vladimir Kozlov is getting pushed hard right now, but he's a heel, and so is Finlay. Bobby Lashley is a possibility, should I have him win World War 3.

In my MAW dynasty I'm picturing Where It All Begins Again as my big show of the year. I've only had one thus far:

American Patriot defeats Jay Chord to retain the Mid Atlantic Championship (C- / 57)

I have my plans for the 2011 version, but I can't reveal that here <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

Steel City Supercard 1977

Terry Lambert def. Marcus McKing for the APWF Heavyweight title (B)

Having one the tournament a month earlier to declare a number one contender (with aid from the Masked Assailant, later to be revealed as Brutus McBride), Terry Lambert and his best friend Marcus McKing had spent the last month screwing off and "feuding" in a mocking manner (basically slapping the APWF fans in the face with asshatery) and practically stating the main event would be Terry Lambert just laying on his back so his buddy could keep his belt. Instead, the Mystery Assailant assaulted McKing before the match, and his informing of Terry Lambert about what went down was responded to first by Terry Lambert's admittion he already knew cause he gave the order, and then by Terry brutally assaulting his shocked (former) friend to start the match.

Steel City Supercard 1978

Terry Lambert def. Crippler Ray Kingman to retain the APWF Heavyweight title (B+

A year later, and Terry Lambert was still APWF champion. This time, it was the King of Wrestling tournament (now hosted by APWF) that lead to Kingman having a show against Lambert. However, no one was shocked when Terry Lambert retained the title, as yesterday Crippler Ray Kingman had announced (along with Sam Strong) that he was jumping ship to SWF.

Steel City Supercard 1979

Bill Popinowski def. The Minnesota Mauler to retain the APWF Heavyweight title (B-)

Still riding his undefeated streak since joining APWF, Popinowski had recently defeated Wild Man Sullivan for the belt. The Minnesota Mauler, sick of being Marcus McKing's lackey, had disobeyed McKing's orders and entered himself in the King Of Wrestling tournament and beat his former leader for the right to face Popinowski at the Steel City Supercard. And, of course, The Mauler represent blue collar America facing the evils of Popinowski and his communist ways! Unfortunately, the match was marred by bad chemistry, with this being the first (and only) meeting between these two.

Been running a WCW game since 1990

Starrcade 1990

Sting d. Ric Flair to be crowned first WCW World Champion after a double pin controversy at Halloween Havoc earlier in the year led to Flair being the NWA World Champion and Sting being pegged by WCW as the uncrowned WCW World Champion.

Starrcade 1991

Ted Dibiase d. Ricky Steamboat © for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship (I nabbed DiBiase from the WWF after Flair suffered an injury and tore up my main event scene)

Starrcade 1992

Vader © d. Lex Luger to retain the WCW World Heavyweight Championship

Co Main Event (Had more heat) Sting d. Ted DiBiase to win the contract of Ric Flair and reinstate him to WCW.

Starrcade 1993

Ric Flair d. Vader© for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship

Starrcade 1994

Starrcade 1995

Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage d. Terry Gordy and Steve Williams in a Steel Cage Match (World Champion Rick Rude is injured and didn't want to strip him of title so I didn't have a world title match <img alt=":(" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/frown.png.e6b571745a30fe6a6f2e918994141a47.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> )

My data kind of sucks now in 95 so I will probably quit this game and wait for the 87 mod.

Almost a year ago, The Supreme Challenge 30 had Vengeance defeat Eric Eisen for the SWF World Heavyweight Title, setting his 9 month reign as Champ. In less than two months I'll have my next Supreme Challenge and the main event is planned to be Jack Bruce vs. Tyson Baine (SWF Supreme Title) or Tom Gilmore vs. Runaway Train (SWF World Heavyweight Title), haven't decided yet.

in my RPW game we always had a monthly show called Rapid Fire until we hit Cult and got TV and stuff then I gave us monthly names

ours is in July called Rapid Fire in honor of the shows that made us a mainstream success

our main event has ALWAYS been Bryan Holmes vs Tommy Cornell for the RPW World title, except for the 36 months Cornell went with BHOTWG in which I had Holmes hold the title until Cornell's return at the first Rapid Fire after he signed his new contract.

so many A rated matches and if I had TV coverage in Puerto Rico, they would have both been 100% popular in a game area
