Well he said not all features were mentioned, but as it reads so far it's BY FAR it's the ability to just click a button to create a random fighter with ALL information filled out.

In WMMA2 you could use the template, but there were at least like 10 or so things you had to do manually (names, heights, weights, reach, charisma etc), which made the task really quite arduous. Anytime you made a new database, it took like hours and hours of work to make enough characters to start it, then usually I'd get to a point where I felt more fighters were needed, and then more hours were ahead before I could just sit and play the game like a normal person. Despite that, there were enough positive changes that I'll make do of course, but it was one that if not added I think is a huge oversight.

You should be able to fill the game world with 100-1000 fighters in like 5-10 minutes IMO, either randomly or with set genders and weight classes. I think you can do this very easily in OOTP for example, and not sure why you can't in this, given that when someone retires the AI creates a random fighter anyway. It clearly seems to have the ability to do something of this sort , so very surprised if a feature like this isn't added.

Since the tone of this post sounds a bit negative, let me reiterate that I think the changes already announced, on the whole, are absolutely fantastic and that so many cool things are being added and addressed. I will of course buy the game the instant that I can, and look forward to playing it a ton!

I don't understand how TUF, as a feature, could be added to this game.

Technically you can add your own TUF ... Just take a group of rookie fighters, have them fight it out in a tourney and the winner gets a contract, all others get cut. What more do people want as actual TUF feature?

I would have to say all my suggestions and ideas posted in the suggestion forum that didn't make it into WMMA3. lol.

I will wait for the demo before I really bitch and moan over why Adam didn't include this or that feature.

Just like WMMA2, I am sure I will get hours upon hours of joy from WMMA3 regardless.

^Agree'd, I would have liked that as well. K-1 and ADCC types organizations would add some interesting depth to the game, though the best way to balance it would probably be to limit them from signing exclusive contracts (With, on the flip, contracts having clauses to allow K-1 and ADCC participation even in an exclusive MMA contract deal). I would adore that. <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

<p>I would have liked to see another option for TV deals that allows you to air some prelims live on free TV before your PPVs and if the fights are entertaining you gain some PPV buys but if they are boring you lose some.</p><p> </p><p>

That said, I understand it is impossible for Adam to include every requested feature and as it is he has already added nearly every feature I was hoping for.</p>

<p>WMMA2 was GREAT! I still play it from time to time.</p><p> </p><p>

maybe these are dumb ideas, but I'll throw them out there for the heck of it:o</p><p> </p><p>

1.have the option of "auto-contracting" and if the don't like the default offer, then maybe you have to manually negotiate.</p><p> </p><p>

2.more rivals drama.fighters/team rivalries.fighters talking **** on other fighters publically.<img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

3.actually show Q & A interviews with the fighters.OR even be able to customize questions via multiple choice and interview a fighter. </p><p> </p><p>

4.I remember the first one(WMMA 1) having blurcat forums(you could never access),should make it accessable and see what people are talking about specifically,if they hatin,or supporting,or maybe what they loathe about a certain organization's president,or how he's running things.or maybe to find out what match ups the fans wanna see.</p><p> </p><p>

5.post fight interviews/conferences.</p>

I'd like to see a TUF-style show too, but I understand how hard it would be to make work. Ah well, I kind of did this in WMMA 2 with the "King of Africa Tournament", which was an 8-man all-rookie tourney with a couple of mid-tier guys to headline the show. I expect I'll do the same.

Mass Fighter creator would be sweet, just set up a random DB and go to work.

Arenas would have been cool to see, but no biggie. I also wish I thought to suggest camps that focus only on certain weight classes (such as Lesnar's all HW camp and Urijah Faber's "midget army" as they call it) before it was too late, but then again that's no big deal either. I'm pretty happy with the additions actually.

If I was going to tackle K1 (or ADCC) they would get their own separate games, they would not be tacked onto WMMA; putting aside that they are not Mixed Martial Arts in the first place (note the capitalisation; WMMA simulates Mixed Martial Arts the sport, not mixed martial arts the concept), you cannot simulate K1-level striking to any good degree of accuracy with WMMA's striking stats, nor ADCC level grappling with WMMA's wrestling stats.

Thanks for answering on this. That being said, please don't make a K-1 or ADCC game, just concenrate on WMMA :)
