KS7.
http://i49.tinypic.com/5d1d0j.png We were all surprised on October the 16th when we heard that Shane McMahon was resigning from the World Wrestling Entertainment, the full resignation would become effective on the 1st day of the 2010 year. Most people thought that Shane was going to be a good son and help his mother in her Political career but they were all wrong. The time that Shane had between announcing his resignation and actually finalizing it he thought about how it would be boring to step into his fathers shoes, so instead he wanted to make it a challenge and work his way up in hope of competing with his father with his very own promotion. Once the 1st of January hit Shane was a free man and he must have planned everything in advance as at 2:00pm on that very Friday the world was introduced to a Shane McMahon production and Leap of Faith was born. Shane wasn't without his own wealth so he did all of this with his own money and with no help from dad, he even used some of his connections so that his friends in the media picked up on the story and his new promotion was all ready world wide news. The promotion that was named after one of Shane's most famous moves were he jumped of the top rope and delivered an elbow drop to his opponent who is laying on the announce table. He was the chairman of the company so he did all things business, this involved arranging two pay per view deals, the first being with GoFightLive sending the footage from events all through out both the USA and Canada and then the second was with NTL allowing the whole of the UK and Europe to watch the shows giving Leap of Faith some decent TV exposure. Shane'O'Mac may have secured some partners to get their events shown but he didn't have as much luck getting what he wanted with the television side of things. He tried many stations but even though he was the son of the man who is currently running the WWE most of them didn't think he would pull in the ratings that they wanted so he was turned down time and time again. This meant that he was left with two options, run a weekly show like they normally would but without TV cameras or just run the large pay per view each month until things are steady on the roster and the backroom staff are all fine, he picked the latter and he hoped the television stations would think twice after seeing how the pay per view shows do. Currently the promotion only has it's chairman so everything else to do with his new company needs a member to fill the spot, whether that be taking up refereeing the action, calling the action at ringside or even if it is to be apart of the booking team. Shane is kicking off his dream in 2011, leaving him a good few months to build a respectable looking company. He is starting from the ground in hope that one day his company will compete with the number one wrestling promotion the World Wrestling Entertainment.SCHEDULE & RESULTS:LEAP OF FAITH: ONE | JANUARY 30TH Card to be Announced Closer to Date LEAP OF FAITH: TWO | FEBRUARY 27TH Card to be Announced Closer to Date LEAP OF FAITH: THREE | MARCH 27TH Card to be Announced Closer to Date
