1234
Just out of interest to see who other people like from the game so far. My favourite has to be Rafael van der Moot. -Looks scary as hell. -Undefeated at the start of the game. I love trying to keep fighters undefeated while still giving them quality opponents. -Stand up fighter whose strengths are definately Striking, and is able to stop others taking him down. Which ensures his fights are going to be exciting. -Only 23, so has lots of time to improve...all though he doesnt need to improve much. -And finally he was the first person to KO someone with a Soccer Kick. Here is how the fight ended. >A couple of wild haymakers are used to set up a takedown attempt from Ina. >Ina can't get past the sprawl of van der Moot, and finds himself pushed face-down to the ground. >van der Moot hits a big knee to the side of the head of the turtled Ina! >van der Moot hits a devastating soccer kick to the head! >That kick was right on target, Ina has been knocked out! >Rafael van der Moot takes the win by Knock Out! So who is your favourite?
Hawk1665
Eiji Masuko. I signed him as ALPHA-1 simply because he was a Judoka. It's a Japanese promotion, that's as much thought as I put into it. It put him in a one night four person tournament on TV. In the first round he beat Yagi Jokichi by RNC. In the finals he faced Mikio Inouye. Masuko got him down, spammed armbars, and when Inouye survived them Masuko swept to back control and RNC'd him. In one night Masuko went from 1-0 to 3-0, low level national, and has a 74% aura. His only weakness is absolute terrible stand up work. But if he can get you down on the ground they are screwed. Masuko doesn't posture or mess around. He goes for the kill. He also called out Go Yamamoto post-fight. The man has balls.

He looks good for a ground fighter, but would be murdered by a good stand up fighter, especially if the fighter could keep it standing. If I ever start up a proper ALPHA-1 came I may have to try and set up an openweight Judo fight (as close as I can get to a judo fight in WMMA) between Masuko and Oleg Dorosklov. Would be an interesting fight.
openeye
Yoshiro Makamori. He kinda reminds me of Gomi, submitted Yue in his 1st fight, and called Li Kong-Ho next. Oh, and he's a natural heel.
BYU 14
Affonso Villar is my favorite, though he is well into his career in this version so I will have trouble signing him to my tiny upstart promotion. Of the fighters I have signed right now Jerry Bogdonovich is quickly becoming a fav. Looks like a New Jersey version of Chuck Liddell and has solid power. Starts 5-0 and scored a big 1 punch comeback KO in his first fight.

If they can maintain good records that is.

Marlon John looks like he could be another fighter I like in the game, due to his freakish Wrestling paired with good skills all round.

If anyone cant tell my favourite division is LHW.

Outside of LHW, Braulio Moura looks like one to watch. Mr_Tricky
I like Lamont Banner and Nilton Fantoni so far, only having played FLB. Nilton beat Villar via flying heel hook to win my LHW grand prix and earn me an achievement.

Lamont has a fun style that makes for interesting fights.

Dead_Jester
Brian Claremont for me as well, signed him to an XCC game and put him against Lito Alcala, two rounds of non stop action from both guys before Lito caught Brian with a head kick in the opening seconds of the 3rd for a knock out win. 1234
Just had Brian Claremont fight and he is unbelievably exciting. - Branco vs. Brian 'Barrage' Claremont - From player-controlled event 'GAMMA 1' (from the save game 'Game') - Created 06 December 2010 >Next up, Branco fights Brian 'Barrage' Claremont in the GAMMA Lightweight division. >We are underway! >Claremont counters an attempted flying knee strike with several big right hands, putting Branco down, dazed! >Branco recovers his wits quickly, and waits for Claremont to make a move. >Claremont hovers, wary of up-kicks, then dives in to hit a devastating right hand that rocks Branco! >The referee pulls Claremont away before any more shots are thrown, as Branco is out cold! >Brian 'Barrage' Claremont takes the win by Knock Out! >Official Result: Brian 'Barrage' Claremont defeats Branco (Knock Out (Punch) in 0:43 of round 1). The match was rated as being Good. Edit- And despite losing his last match Go Yamamoto wants a match with this beast.
samuricex
Luke Hilton in WMMA1, but he just couldn't become an elite fighter in WMMA2. I would have to say Petey Mack is now my favorite and he still seems like a pretty solid fighter in WMMA3 from what I've seen so far.

Patrick Thomas hit him with such a hard uppercut (that KO'd him) I thought the next line of text was going to read: "Petey Mack is knocked high into the air before flipping 270 degrees and finally landing on his face." Just out of interest did Thomas make weight. I have ran a couple of GAMMA games and he failed 2 out of the 2 times I gave him a fight.

Pogo92
Affonso Villar When I first started up my FLB, I didn't like him one bit: He's hulking, ugly, and smash-happy. However, once I warmed up to him, I realized all the great traits he has: He's hulking, ugly, and smash-happy! Not only that, but absolute beast record and very complimenting skills. I plan on, in the retail version, starting up a FLB promotion and immediately working on having him clear the LHW division (Which has no serious threats to him in the Top 5). Then, I'm going to move him up to a Heavyweight and see if he can best Gladstone Lopes and the rest of that division as well, all the well trying to find or develop a prospect for him at LHW. Should be fun watching him demolish everyone in his way.
