Small Question...

I just skimmed over the Developer's Journal right now to see if my question was already answered, but I didn't catch it in there.

So, my question is; When you take over a company, will the AI of that company still be in charge of contracts, or will the contracts be under your control? I disliked in part two when a company I took over released their top star/champion because of money issues, or because a bigger company came in and stole him.

If it's not in the game, I think it would be really awesome if it was.

It works the same way as in WMMA 2.

You can always sign that person yourself though so you should never really lose anyone unless a company larger than your main promotion outbids you. In my current long running WMMA 2 game I have two feeder companies I took over and whenever a worker is up for contract renewal I watch to see if Alpha 1 or Gamma put in an offer (will usually be shown on front page) then just sign them myself and reassign them.

 

I could be misunderstanding you but in 2 there was nothing the AI controlled that you couldn't control since if they chose not to re-sign someone you could just re-sign them and send them back to them.

Yes, I could just sign him to a contract so he remains with my parent company still, but he would vacate any title he had, which defeats the purpose of my original question.
