WWE: Time for a change

Recommended Posts

On a side note, this is my first attempt at a dynasty, any criticism would not be taken the wrong way and would in fact be appreciated. Vince McMahon was watching as the WWE was becoming the laughing-stock of the wrestling world. While still firmly in power, TNA and the new Georgia Championship Wrestling were set to pose a real problem to the Sports Entertainment conglomerate. Thusly, Vince knew that he would have to improve the product in order to keep from falling out of superiority and into a competition with either of these two promotions. Vince knew that one of his major problems was the writing/booking team, which consisted of Hollywood goons who knew nothing of wrestling. His first order of business was to fire these writers, then he shocked the wrestling world by hiring Matt Langdon, a young booker of Canadian wrestling promotions. Vince knew that it was risky hiring the 23 year old, but his work proceeded him, it was time for WWE to change. That's the backstory, now I'm going to keep a WWE mentality, it is entertainment so the Divas will mostly stick around, and hosses with little talent will recieve pushes based on charisma and look (Chris Masters for example, much unlike Snitsky), along with some other wrestlers I take from the free agent pool. THE WWE HAS COME TO TERMS WITH THE FOLLOWING Elix Skipper Ekmo Fatu Rikishi Ken Shamrock The first RAW will be posted shortly.

Well, as I was writing my first RAW my cpu randomly shut down, so I'll just give a brief overview. HEaT: Victoria d. Mickie James Rating: B+ HEaT: Tajiri d. Rene Dupree Rating: A* Match 1: Val and Vis d. Cade and Murdoch for the Tag-team titles. Rating: B+ *HBK Promo, claiming #1 contendership* Match 2: Carlito d. The Hurricane, when the Hurricane got ****y and chose to taunt Carlito instead of pin after hitting the Eye of the Hurricane. Afterwards he removed his mask and said he wasn't sure he wanted to be a superhero anymore, unless he and Rosey won the Tag-titles in their match next week. Rating: A *HHH Promo, claiming #1 contendership* Unfamiliar music hits, beginning with the firing of a Colt .45 as an unknown wrestler makes his way to the ring and introduces himself as "Classic" Colt Cabana, the greatest wrestler in the business today. He proceeds to call Ric Flair a "has-been" who needs to pass the torch to younger wrestlers. Flair responds by cutting a promo saying that he's been in the business for 30 years and he had to earn it. Cabana tries to punch him, but is chopped to the ground. Bischoff comes to the ring and sets a matchup to come next. Match 3: Ric Flair d. Colt Cabana in a 16 minute long technical wrestling clinic, this fued will be awesome, I can already tell. Flair wins by grabbing the tights in a rollup. Cabana does not look happy at all. Rating: A*

Kurt Angle comes out, saying that he wrestled with a "broken freaking neck" and that he deserves the title, when all of the sudden he is jumped by an unknown wrestler. Upon further inspection IT'S KEN SHAMROCK, who proceeds to put Angle in the anklelock and beatdown Chris Masters when he attempts to interfere. Shamrock gets a mike and says that he's the worlds most dangerous man and his accomplishments speak for themselves, the title shot is his. Bischoff comes out and says that there will be a Five-man match to determine #1 contendership between Masters, HHH, HBK, Angle and Shamrock. MAIN EVENT: Five-man match. This match goes on for 20 minutes, and has some excellent wrestling. Chris Masters was on his game tonight, as he gave his best showing ever. This match ended controversially when HBK tapped to the Masterlock at the exact same time Shamrock made Angle tap. The official winner was Shamrock but Masters did not look happy, one thing is certain, the situation has not been resolved. Rating: A* OVERALL SHOW RATING: A Attendance at Nokia Colisseum, Houston: 25,674. Overall, I think this was a great show, with the high point being Colt Cabana's debut, the main event scene is going well too. Only weakness here is the tag team, but after next week it should be stronger, you'll see wha I mean. NEXT UP: Smackdown (Well, I gotta go so I'll post this later if there's any interest)
