i have always gone with The Maple Leaf Mafia for a canadian stable, i used to use another one which i really can't think of

i usually have a stable of british workers called The Gentlemens Club,

could do with a stable name for a super group in thw 1977 mod

consists of Sid Streets, Cheatin Mike Barstow, Marcus McKing, Alasi Tua and Vandemar

Sid Streets, Cheatin Mike Barstow and Marcus McKing are my three top heels who seem to always get the odds in thier favourite, they also have a couple of managers and Buford T Laramie is thier big mouth piece

imagine sort of like The Corporation but in the 70's, but i can't bring myself to call them The Corporation as it doesn't feel right

Real World, WCW.

Lance Storm

Shawn Stasiak

Bret Hart

Rowdy Roddy Piper

Carl Ouellet

Jacques Rogueau

So you have a couple Canadians in Storm and Hart. A guy of gimmicked Polish descent in Stasiak, a Scotsman in Piper and the Quebecers. If this were a dairy I were doing, I might have it where Oullet and Rogueau were persuaded to join with promises to support Quebec's independence and call them the League of Nations. Or maybe steal "World Elite" from TNA. I loved the concept of that stable.

Stasiak has double citizenship between American and Canada, Piper is the Hart's cousin and Canadian, and the Quebecers, are well, the Quebecers... :p

The Idea is in WCW 2000, late in the year, Lance Storm is given a WCW contract after persuasion from Bret Hart (still on the roster recovering, working backstage). After some time with the United States Championship after winning it from Malenko, he reveals the nefarious links he's been making in short segments with the aforementioned people, when he and the gang attack Goldberg the nitro after a successful title defense. They're all sick and tired of Canadian wrestlers getting the short end of the stick in WCW, and have decided to make everyone pay.

No, You have 5 Canadians and one American.

I usually have a stable of heel Quebecois stable when I play Canada, which is most of the time.

In 2010, they've always been The Sepratists, but in CWF in '77 they are the FLQ, which should get some good heat, given the time period.

Perhaps technically.

But from what is LIKELY to be known, no. I broke it down based on what would come to the average person's mind. And I'll grant you the Stasiak part might be a bit of a stretch. But the Polish origin of "Stasiak" would be thought of by the average fan before the legit dual citizenship would be.

I didn't mean to degrade your idea, sorry, I just meant I'd find it easier to book 5 Canadians and one American defector in a stable.

Sorry.

No worries. I get what you were saying. Nothing wrong with trying to keep it simple. Pretty good formula in wrestling as a general rule actually. And I suppose in his game world that inside stuff could all be known and have been played out on screen.

I've been around the Net long enough to know how easily what the average bear is likely to know can get lost when you know stuff like this group actually being five Canadians and one of dual citizenship. And honestly a diary where the likely to be known gets adjusted for the reality could be an interesting read. Or heck, maybe they come together based on the reality and the likely to be known differences provide the wedge that ends them. Doesn't have to be an either/or after all.

First, technically, it is the hat of the Americas.

I think when saying a country has a 'hat' I don't think it's a great idea to get 'technical' as technically speaking a country can't have a hat.

It's still a great name for the stable though even if America's crown does make them look cooler
